Great spacious floorpans with great walkability. The grounds are well kept and maintenance responds quickly. Constant upkeep and updates. Fairly peaceful community. I have no complaints, the complex has exceeded my expectations.

The overall appearance of the community is good. Recent paint and signage updates were well done. Hallways and garage entry areas could use more regular attention. Mt bicycle was stolen recently so I cant give security high marks. Apartment maintenance requests are typically addressed on the same day. The maintenance staff are professional, courteous and, most of all, clean.

Have been here since 2022. No real issues and place has been pretty quiet. When I put in a maintenance request, they are usually at the door within a few hours. Will likely be extending for a 3rd year. Location is nice too.

the building itself , is typically dirty. the building as a whole is not safe. bikes and vehicles being stolen, amazon packages always missing etc. the gym also needs a facelift , newer equipment and overall rehauled.

Been here since 2016 and I consider Sawer Height Lofts my home. Excellent place to live. Always maintained clean, very comfortable, I feel safe, front office always very friendly and polite, maintenance take care of any problems right away the first time. I love it here

Vehicle security is lacking. Paying that much to have your vehicle broken into and the staff does not care. This has been an ongoing issue for years according to the residents. The cameras are in place but not used to prevent theft

The experience was okay. The purpose of moving there was for transitional housing. It served that purpose. Grounds are clean. Apartment is really noisy with noise from the interstate. Location is good and in a great community.

Overall experience at Sayer Heights is good, Security needs to be improved , there was some issues with the car parking security. Also the gym equipment's needs to be improved. Please replace the yoga mats with new ones.

So far my experience has been good, except for an infestation of black ants that hasn’t been resolved even though I put a request for an exterminator. Other than that everything has been good with my move in.

Living here is comfortable and the apartment building is in a convenient location for any directions of the city of Houston and neighbourhoods as well as easy access to interstates and and area airports. Only issue has been a slew of entries into garage area by people lookingto committ burglaries and damage to resident's parked vehicles.

Maintenance requests are resolved promptly. Staff very friendly and helpful. Safety provided by complex is good. The residents don't always comply. In my opinion the only way to improve security is to have full-time officers on staff which is probably price prohibitive.

Overall it’s a nice place to live. The building is clean and quiet. Maintenance & staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great and it’s easy to access just about any major highway & you’re right smack in the middle of Houston so you can be on any end of the city in about 30 minutes.

Pros: walking distance to heights hike and bike trails, target, and a few neighborhood bar and restaurants. Fast access to I10 Up until today, had great customer service. Today I think they wanted to start the new year off rude. Great maintenance department. Most amenities I’ve had at any place I’ve lived. They try to provide community events and entertainment. Low crime. Haven’t seen anything in almost a year, so it’s little enough to fly under the radar. They have Amazon lockers too. This is important to me. The last place I live was crime ridden. Cons: building isn’t properly protected from lightning and gets struck a lot. Building electronics short out. Burned out quite a few of my electronics as well. Make sure you have insurance to cover that. IT WILL HAPPEN. The sky is blue and Sawyer Heights has an elevator not working are the 2 guarantees in life. Water being shut off and fire alarms are a more than routine thing here. More than any other place I lived. Building is one of the oldest of its kind in the heights. My kitchen drawers were broken and carpet had a huge stain when I moved in. The linoleum in the kitchen is bubbling in areas. Cigarette burns on the bathroom sink. Like an old motel room. The apartment is not in the best of shape. Hallways always smell like stale marijuana smoke. I will social smoke on occasion so don’t mind the smell, but this grosses me out. Embarrassing if you bring company over. MAKE SURE IF YOU MOVE IN ITS NOT ON THE I10 SIDE! There is a homeless camp under the off ramp. It’s like 50 ft away from the building. Trash mounds everywhere. It’s disgusting. Yelling. There have been gun shots. I’ve tried everything for someone to do something. So don’t bother. They really should put up a privacy fence . Can’t open your windows when it’s nice because the smell. The traffic is louder than you may think as well. You don’t get used to any of it. I don’t get good night sleep here. Parking spaces are assigned and small so if you get a bad neighbor that can’t park, or a large truck, keep in mind they won’t move you. Pool in the summer is a free for all. Forget about enjoying that. The whole neighborhood is invited. Gym is super small. Walls are thin. You hear everything. Pray your upstairs neighbors are not heel walkers or have loud dogs like mine. Keep in mind the price they tell you, it’s 100 to 150 more a month with all the fees. Trash, pest control, water, yada yada yada. I’m paying 1500 plus utilities for almost a studio apartment. The listing was 1380. My previous place was up front with these charges in their price quoted. All in all I did live somewhere worse than this close by. But for the current price, this place isn’t it either. Take your time and shop

Good location, average complex, outdated appliances and cabinetry. Cars get broken into in the garage, poop and pee in the hallways-maintenance does their best to clean but it’s constant. Not the highest quality residents living here.

The staff has always been very communicative and exceptional. Maintenance issues are fixed in a speedily manner. The events they have and food trucks are a great perk. The pool is always properly maintained as well as the building itself.

I love living here! I find the front office very friendly and helpful. I love the design of my apartment. I love the high ceilings, dark cabinets, and black appliances. I like the little library on the second floor. And you can’t beat the location! I can walk right out the door to Target, the hike and bike trails, there are many places to walk to and grab food, etc!

Not only me, but my whole family lives here, my two sisters and their husbands, my mom and her husband, we all have a total of 5 dogs and is very pet friendly. Overall the community is excellent, the amenities are always a plus, as well as the safety of knowing that apartments are not being rented as AirBnB or other of those apps.
