It has been great so far. A very calm and quiet community. I cannot beat the location. Close to so much and right off the freeway. The amenities are great too. Love the areas for relaxation. Great option for those looking for an outdoor space to chill.

The location of Sawyer Heights Lofts is excellent if you love a balance of shopping, biking, or trails and a centralized location in Houston. Sawyer Heights Loft is the place for you. However, the building is older compared to other apartments in the area. Also, the parking garage safety is terrible. Your vehicle will be broken into at least once, and if you bring it to the office's attention, they will disregard your concerns and say others have had the same issues. The cameras, located in the parking garage, claim to work, however, the wires are sticking out and appear tampered with every morning. The only drawback would be the safety, but if that's an important aspect, then this may not be the place for you. If that's not important, sawyer heights are the place for you!

Everyone is friendly and the noise level is very minimal. I just wish my packages weren’t being stolen. This has happened several times and despite efforts being made by myself it continues to happen several times within the first month of moving.

I’ve lived here 8 years and am completely satisfied. The community is very quiet. I live on floor one and hardly see or here my neighbors. I never wait for maintenance. It is generally completed the same day. If it is something requiring additional time they communicate accordingly. Yes, you are expected to pay your rent, so anyone bashing them about late charges and the like, just stop. They are super dog friendly and there is plenty of green space to walk them and the Heights Bike and Hike trail is right here ( just be careful walking dogs, the bike folks will run them over. Only concern is a homeless person living under the bridge who collects trash and then it blows all over the community. He is sort of a new addition. I’m sure he will find a new place when the new shopping area opens.

I've been here for 2 years now, made the process very easy. It's very nicely maintained and staff is super attentive to the residents. Love the location, makes accesible to many fun things in the area. Would recommend it to anyone.

I love living here

I have lived here for about three years and love it! It is a great location -- walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Right by the highway, but never loud. The staff is very responsive and nice.

Great apartment and location!

I've been living here since January 2021 and I love it here. The location is great! Staff is very friendly. Maintenance requests get completed really quickly. My unit is huge for a 731 sq ft! It's a great place to live!

Parking garage is an issue and maintenance team did not pick up after entering. When entering the parking garage the roads bumps are old and outdated. There are new versions to install that will not damage vehicles.

Overall I have been pleased. However I have concerned with the recent damages to the doors and access equipment. The homeless are tripping on something and getting closer to the property. Ive had to call an ambulance for 3 in the past few weeks.

Safety is an issue. The entrance to unit 176, the security lock fob has not worked for a week and people can just entered freely. Also, there are pipes leaking whenever it rains in the stairwell, I'm hoping this issue gets resolved before the winter months

I have been here at Sawyer Heights Lofts for 6 months. A few maintenance issues have popped up as would happen anywhere, and each time, they were quick in response and in fixing the problem. I know if anything comes up, they are fixing it the same day or next day. I am very pleased.

Very disappointing experience so far, the apartment that Ive moved into has been infested by roaches and other bugs of varying sizes & its made my move-in extremely uncomfortable. Ive found a myriad of bugs behind and around the refrigerator, emerging from an outlet in the closet, in the bathroom sink, in cabinets, on the floors in the main room, bathroom, bedroom and closet. So Ive opted to sleep and take showers at my old apartment through June 25th, even though my move-in date here was June 10th. I want to know whether its possible at least refund the prorated rent. If pest control doesnt actually come to my apartment today (Friday), Id think this would qualify as an unreasonable amount of time to remedy the condition (Sunday was when Id originally scheduled a maintenance request and Monday morning I called to explain the problem I noticed) which should even allow me to end the lease. I would like to live here but the circumstances havent matched the cost of the rent thus far.

I enjoy the complex. Walls are a bit thin so you can hear conversations from other units if theyre loud enough. Biggest complaint is that its difficult to get a parking spot on your floor. Otherwise Sawyer is a decent option for the area.

So I only recently moved in and generally things have been fine. However there is one glaring issue that I've encountered. They advertise as having "reserved spaces" for your apartment, no problem there, reserved parking is nice. HOWEVER, be aware that your reserved parking is in no way correlated to where your apartment is, and in my personal case is 2 floors above. This parking spot is predetermined and NON-NEGOTIABLE. Non-reserved first come first serve parking would be totally fine but telling me that for the entirety of my stay I am going to have to park an elevator ride away from my apartment in my opinion is pretty unacceptable. The leasing office staff are generally very friendly and courteous but I've now inquired if there's anything I can do about my parking situation multiple times and they will do absolutely nothing for me. The system makes no sense and is extremely frustrating. Reserved parking generally equals convenient parking, but in the case of this apartment complex is a massive headache.

Sawyer Heights Lofts is a great place to live. It is accessible to restaurants, stores, and trails. The grounds are kept very nicely and the maintenance fixes issues very fast. They have great layouts for floor plans.

I have lived at Sawyer Heights for almost a year now and I love it. The office staff returns emails in a timely manner when you need them. The community is always quiet, Im not sure if that speaks for the residents or for the structure. Maintenance is always on the move making sure the property stays clean and all your maintenance needs are met. They are respectful when coming into your home and they don't make a mess for you to clean up. I am so excited to resign for another year!
