There are TONS of cats everywhere! If you don't like cats, this might be a problem because it's a cat-loving community here. Frequently, the trash area is unkept, and the parking lot can smell like a litter box. The complex is mostly quiet, and a lot of residents have lived here for 5+ years. It's centrally located but does need a bit of a makeover. A touch of paint and a good pressure wash would elevate this place a lot. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and I feel relatively safe living here.

This place is so pretty, there are plants and well kept grass everywhere you look, so much better than being surrounded by concrete. The staff is respectful, friendly, and responsive. Our home is very spacious, no bugs and no mess. I love it here so far! Samira and Allyson were so helpful during our move in and I know I can rely on them for any questions or concerns that I have.

The worst place to live

These people made my living there a living hell. They would never put a screen door on the patio. The manager is a lazy liar. I moved out and broke the lease because of the air conditioner bringing in white dust and moldy smell and leaking water on the bathroom floor. The bedroom and bathrooms upstairs were full of dust from the air conditioner even after I changed the air filters it made me sick until I had to leave before the lease was ended. I could never get a screen door for 10 months the manager kept saying that they had to order one. My best decision was to leave this dump.

Property looks horrible and managment sucks... Response to Management

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the property management of Sunblossom Woodlake/ Stone Mountain Apartments. First, I hear from many different tenants that our maintenance guy is spying on everyone's private lives. He is also very rude and unprofessional, which is unacceptable. I hear he spends his nights watching the cameras being nosey, without securing the property or confronting any of the perpetrators. As a result, there have been numerous break-ins and thefts. One tenant believes he comes in their unit unannounced. He also talks very badly to his co-workers. I really don't understand how or why they come back to work the next day because the pay, I'm sure, isn't the best. Then they must deal with a grade A butthole, my heart goes out to them. I also take my privacy seriously, so when I hear we have a peeping tom working the property all night/day long and is a spying maintenance man using the security cameras to watch your every move for his own benefits, is very creepy. He will also share your private information with others, without authorization, it makes me want to call the police, and get an attorney because there's no way this can be legal. Second, the management team is very unprofessional as well. They gossip about you and each other behind each other’s backs. They are also very rude and condescending to tenants. The management team must be better. I've worked in corporate America for over 30 years, this is what they call a classic case of: Workplace/Tenant harassment: Hostile work environment harassment is described best as any conduct that makes the workplace abusive, uncomfortable, or intimidating. To rise to the level of illegality, hostile work environment harassment must be severe, pervasive, and reasonably offensive. The maintenance guy with long hair is the worst. He should be terminated before stone mountain gets sued because of his actions. Third, the property is in a state of disrepair. The parking lot is full of potholes, and all buildings need a power wash/paint so bad. I would like to throw a painting party myself. It's just ridiculous. Fourth, the rent is too high for the quality of the property. I have been a tenant at Sun blossom woodlake/ Stone Mountain Apartments for over seven years, and I have never been so unhappy. I am moving out at the end of my lease, and I urge you to take action to improve the management of this property right away. There are a handful of great staff, but they can only be as good as they can, with subpar staff leading them. The community is very nice but the rent rates are the rates of houses, will definitely be here a few more years max and start looking for houses! Rent goes up almost 100 dollars a year or whenever you renew and nothing is being done to change apts!

It seems pretty nice. A few issues I had with the unit was that it had a few bugs, I contacted the property manager and they had pest control come check it out for me so hopefully it clears up. The apartment also had a very hidden fiber cable which took the technician from ATT a few hours to set up. Also some mold/ dust in the bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Apart from that, the apartment is pretty good and I really like the facilities that came with it.

Nosy, oroperty not in very good shape, parking has a lit if holes, pavement in not a good condition, people don't revert parking spaces, neighbors are very loud and noisy, they smoke and slam threw doors, everytime the get in and out the unit, bo natter what time of the day it is, they are not considered, neighbors are loud speaking all the time.
