Well the first apartment that I moved into I wasn't even able to look at it before I moved in and when I was finally able to look at it I was very unhappy with the location and the appearance of the apartment and now the second apartment that I am in my rent is supposed to be anywhere between 11:00 and $1,200 and for whatever reason I'm paying $1,300 now because of extra water bills

Previous property management only did what was necessary. New management is making a good attempt at timely maintenance requests and upgrades. Apartments rent do match quality of unit's. Community can use updated content.

I hate it here...did not renew my lease. CAF is not taking g this roach infestation serious. This is unacceptable. My goal is not to take any roaches with me when I leave. There is not a day that I don't see and kill multiple roaches

To my knowledge, this complex has had at least three owners. My personal experience has not been horrible, but what I see at this complex is that maintenance with all three owners has been very much lacking. It seems that neither of these companies have been able to gain good maintenance workers. My apartment was not properly cleaned, and there was some repairs that had not been done. I have been here since 2018, and it's still a job to get things done. They are very short staffed in the maintenance department, so I just have to hope and pray they get to me as soon as possible.

Great and convenience community to live . The community is going under renovation truthly believe once done will be even more beautiful community. May I suggest maybe a area were kids can play and ride bike freely.

It was very good when I first moved in, I have had some not so good experiences with me living here through 4 or 5 different owners. The ones immediately prior to you were basically terrible, I have high hopes for you, I hope the issue with my still outstanding maintenance order is just a one off. I'm not a big complainer, so unless it interferes with my daily living routine or you send a survey, I usually don't say anything.

Apartment review
I moved in and before I could start enjoying the neighborhood my neighbor unit 1911 decided to complain just because I moved in. Threatened to call animal control as if a 15lbs mini golden doodle is a threat. Fussed at my boyfriend for going down the stairs wrong?! And looks at me crazy every time we cross paths. Seems to me needs to go live somewhere else if he doesn’t like dogs or humans living above him. No one likes a grumpy neighbor. Anyways the office staff isn’t as nice as the last one and take a while to get work orders done. I moved here to live below my means not to be looks at crazy by weird neighbors and work orders to take months to be completed. I’ll be gone soon. hopefully everything they are trying to achieve here gets done I know change takes time. Good luck to the new management team trying to turn this place around. C.A.F you should randomly ask the tenants who live here how the office responds to them.

Not happy. Within the first 3 weeks I moved in I had to put in my first work order. As time passed I had to file more and more. Kitchen lightbulb burned out, electric plugs not working, leaking sink at each use, water dripping inside my closet each time it rains and gets my clothes soaking wet, cracked drywalls, window needs sealing and after some foundation work my door lock gets jammed. Not to mention when The Place changed management my rent money was posted to another unit number and I had to prove to them I paid that month. Not a very good experience at all.

I moved in and the apartment was dusty and wasn't fully clean honestly everything was broken my bathroom skin, the kitchen garbage disposal, the fridge, the living room had no light bulbs in fan, i had stains on my wall and I hadn't yet found out the stove was broken. The property team before new management took over fixed the garbage disposal and fixed my bathroom sink and added light bulbs but the new property team room over before they could replace my fridge like they said they would do so I put in a new work order and gave them time to fixed everything but it's been months and I even told them my stove was broken. The maintenance man came to my door and didn't come in because he didn't have a key so I went to the office and asked why he didn't walk in and asked if they have a key for my unit and they said "we should" a few weeks later they put a note on my door saying they needed a key for my unit. I went into the office and gave them one of the two keys I was given when I moved in and I gave it to a -------- lady and then the following week the emailed me asking me to come to the office again to give them a key to my unit. I told them I had already came and given them my key. The issues in my apartment hasn't been fixed and I was very upset to see that they said they came and fixed something when they didn't. I went to the office to tell one of the ladies that they never fixed anything she said she will reprint my requests for them to see but I still live in a half put together apartment and I am not to clear on why I pay rent here and I feel like I stuck in a lease with a terrible management team

It has been outstanding living here. I have not had any complaints since I've been living here. Just peaceful and quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. I would absolutely recommend people to live in this complex.

Terrible. Nothing ever gets fixed, they don't respond in a timely manner, they continuously raise rent. They have all this contact info but never answer any of them. The amenities are good. I.e being by the highway, the mall, all the restaurants, but the apartments and the staff themselves need major improvement.

Under the other management services was poor our car & truck was broken into the office gave no support. So, far this management group had been very supportive of taking correct all the wrongs we understand they just taken over. The the residence here are very nice and very friendly. The Place Apartment is a good place to live. You are surrounded by a lot of eating places down the street from the mall so if you're looking for a place to stay look no farther

High rent for low value. Whole area is unnecessarily expensive for the low quality of apartments.This location was the only one in area I could afford and it's still too high. Maintenance staff rarely actually fixes anything unless repeated request are put in.

My apartment backs up to the drainage easement and it always needs cleaning. There are grocery carts and trash in the water. They went up on my rent $200 in 2022 and the extra charges are very high. I think it's called the water bill. Plus they charge me over $100 each month becausevI can't pay my rent on the first because I am on social security and don't get my money till the second Wednesday of each month.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my apartment it was very clean and had new carpet as well as newly painted walls and a refinished shower. Even though the management staff was having trouble with their software program that generates their leases, they were very polite, and made me very comfortable while I was waiting. And as a bonus, they put a bottle of wine and two wine glasses in my apartment as a welcome gift.

I move to this apartment on July 30 2020 and it's was the worst they never fix anything in my apartment I had like 5 floods in my apartment but the maintenance people just to say that it was not an emergency . But since we have new owner everything has change I went to put a request and the next day they where here and fix all the stuff I needed help with thank you so much keep it going like this y'all doing a great job ??

Wonderful place to live
The office and maintenance staff are very friendly and professional. Maintenance always gets the job done. I've lived here for three years and look forward to renewing my lease. Great location and love that I can walk to the restaurants nearby.

Not A Place To Live
This is the not a place to live. They take your money and WILL NOT FIX ANYTHING!! There are over 50 units without HEATING and AIR! There is an investigation underway to expose their Unlawful Practices. If you are someone has been a victim to THE PLACE APARTMENTS, leave a comment and I can get you in touch with someone who can help.

Moved here 2021, worst experience ever!! Do not live in this dump. They moved us in a bug life. Filled with spiders and roaches behind the oven. And spread everywhere. Not one or two but millions. Water quality so bad. Things break and molded. Manager is piece of crap. Make sure to get every proof and files because they lie and blame you when it is thier fault. I will never recommend this place unless they modify and upgrade the whole apartment. They need 24 hours maintenance. Better managers and worker. Hector is good but everyone there is unprofessional and rude. Heather is the worst. Hector should become the main Manager because he knows better.

Living here was the worst experience of my life. When I moved in the place was dirty. There was paint on every burner on the stove. The dishwasher did not work. Grease everywhere, I couldn't stand to touch the cabinet doors until I scrubbed them down. My patio door was extremely difficult to open. I was told they would send a contractor out to repair it. Never happened. After visiting a neighbor, I found out my patio door should have also had a screen door as well. There was something so nasty under the kitchen sink. They came and nailed a piece of wood on top. That really took care of the stench. Staff seldom answers calls and do not return calls when you leave a message. I was told three times I was the only one whose payment did not go thru in auto payment after receiving eviction notices. I had to get money orders or cashier checks only to find out it was a glitch on their part. Was there an apology or refund of extra fees? Absolutely not!! Maybe one out of every three maintenance requests would be accomplished. I had mold growing on a wall. Their solution was to come in, slap a coat of Kilz and slap even less paint. You could see exactly where the roller went with Kilz showing all around it. I had paint slung on my furniture! The office didn't seem to care. If you want to live in a place where cars constantly drive thru with music blaring (no matter the time of day or night) this is your place. It was so bad things rattled on the walls. Residents just leave their fast food bags in the parking lots. I have seen mice and rats in the daytime! My carpet is the cheapest on the market and had huge waves in it the last four years I lived there. Not one thing was ever updated in the whole time I lived there! I was told maintenance had been accomplished when I was home the entire day. Nobody came to my apartment! Just a bunch of liars!! There is no security so don't believe that lie either. The staff welcomed me and my family with open arms and made us feel like we belonged here. The front office and maintenance staff are ALWAYS friendly and professional. At any point that we needed maintenance, they do not hesitate to accommodate your needs. The apartments are very close and convenient to many different amenities. In reading the reviews, I feel most who have complained are most likely impatient and place judgement on one incident. The tenants I speak to are happy and satisfied with the services. Awesome place to live!! We will be renewing our leasing in November.

Roaches , Mold and the Maintenance is SEVERELY Lacking . Management sides with their under trained maintenance, they hire the cheapest people they can find for any job and it’s usually poorly done ? In the 13 months living here , to start off with the apartment was not even move in ready. They had people still installing wall panels, and fixing things THREE days past our move in date. * the ceiling in the kitchen leaked a lot , had a bad odor when it leaked. Maintenance slaps paint on it * our whole ceiling caved in and water was pouring everywhere, maintenance and management was slow to respond * pulled out the fridge after moving in , to clean better . A hole in the wall contained more than 200 roaches , they all ran out after I sprayed roach spray . I have PTSD from the roach infestations here and now flinch a lot . When maintenance was informed they slapped TAPE on that hole after filling it in with cocking . ?????????? * they send pest control out and have u clear out all ur drawers and pantry’s , pest control fills it inches deep with roach liquid that sits thickly for days , dripping everywhere . While all the roaches sit in the ceiling corners in big groups ?? * they tried to blame the roaches on uncleanliness, did an inspection and only walked into our living room. * management and maintenance IGNORED a leak coming from upstairs for over 3 months , mold filled my children’s closet time and time again , they Continuously blamed the leak and mold on my washer . I told them more than several times it was from upstairs and even had management come into my apartment, because the maintenance doesn’t speak English and explained everything to them in great detail for The management to then blame it on my washer again , fast forward a few weeks and that leak that had caused mold they covered up for months finally busted upstairs flooding my apartment ?????????? * roach infestation HORRIBLY. We had to throw all of our belongings away to avoid bringing roaches with us . * that little show apartment that show you is cute , but don’t let that suck you into a lease here . You will regret it I will be back to add pictures because I have over 100 to choose from ????

This place sucks. Don't move here unless you're a glutton for punishment. Wanna know why? - Staff never answers the phone. Ever. Good luck getting hold of anyone when things inevitably go wrong. - Maintenance takes EONS to do repairs, and even then, they half---- it. I had an AC leak that flooded my closet and it took them THREE WEEKS to fix it. For the icing on the turd cake, all they did for the water damage on the ceiling was spray paint over it. - There are times when the maintenance problems are so bad it's literally uninhabitable. The AC will go out in summer and they won't fix it in a timely fashion. Your pipes will burst in winter and they will leave mold growing in your apartment from the leakage. They don't care. - Enjoy having to pay extra just to use the pool and paying exorbitant prices for the water bill. - They expect you to pay over $900 a month for a unit that has appliances from the 1970s or 80s that stop working on a dime. Does none of this bother you? In that case, move in and enjoy your maintenance nightmare.

Do not move into these apartments. They are NOT luxury by any means. I was told my apartment would be ready by a certain day, it was not. They have one person working in the office at a time, who are usually no help. They talk to you through the door like an animal and don’t seem to have anything in that office together. My apartment was disgusting. Dead roach in my cabinet and another one crawling in my tub. Carpet stained and blinds were broken and yellowed. Dishwasher is full of mildew and oven did not work. Maintenance had to be called for my heater multiple times. Bathroom door has multiple wholes in it and don’t believe it will get fixed. They have some nerve to have luxury on their website.

I can see from the previous reviews that back in the day these apartments were descent. WELL!!! Not anymore. At first I lived in a one bedroom and it was ok, but for the price EVERYTHING was outdated. After this COVID, since I was working from home I decided to upgrade to a two bedroom. I now see roaches every single day, which I kill and it is obvious that they are coming from a nearby apartment that probably never has been inspected nor has pest control entered the door of it. When I leave and do not open a window, when I enter the apartment stinks of filth and old cigarette smoke. They half way cleaned the carpet before I moved in and it reeks of filth. My washroom door literally fell on me and the maintenance men came and rigged it and it lasted less than 24 hours before they fell again. Took them down and now they are in the outside storage and in the summer it gets hotter than hades due to no door shielding the heat from the dryer. My patio is literally about to fall to the bottom floor. It is cracked severely and when you happen to step in certain places it gives and you can feel that is is not supported. You have to be extremely careful and if you aren't you will twist your ankle where there is space between the cracks IN THE PATIO! I told them when I first move into this apartment that it was not safe and it has never been mentioned by them at all. Now, it is turning cold and the squirrels have decided that they want to hang out in my chimney. This started on a Sunday and I called the maintenance after hours # several times and finally when someone came they didn't see anything. Next morning, I'm trying to work and here we go...the squirrels were bouncing off the walls and have been ALL DAY LONG. I immediately called the office when this started and to no avail. I called the office before they closed and was told that their maintenance said that the squirrels were just hanging out cause it was cold and there was nothing they could do. The lady that was on the other end of the phone had ABSOLETLY no concern nor care that this had been going on all day long and would most likely continue thru the night and there would be absolutely no rest. This is not something that I should have to pay to have a chimney sweeper come out and take care of and there should have been phone calls made, which I was told there was non made to upper management. There is more and more mischief going on in these apartments and I truly believe it is due to the lack of care from the management they now have. This team, it seems is just lazy and does not give a care in the world about the tenants that pay rent so that they can live for free and get paid to sit at a desk and do nothing. I would not tell anyone that I know or that I meet to ever rent from this apartment complex. It is not worth the money they charge and you are not taken care of properly. Dayrise Residential needs to come in and clean house and get some employees that want to work and want to take care of their complex and their tenants.
