It has been wonderful so far. We have only been in our apartment a month, but so far, everyone has been super friendly (staff and residents). The location is wonderful and the common rooms are kept in great condition.

Beautiful location and building; especially the rooftop. The washer and dryer are noisy and often placed in the bedroom! :-(. The water issues were frequent and very annoying-- bathroom sink water had a funny smell to it. Floors nice, carpet fades easily. Staff mostly VERY nice; especially the evening reception people (after 3pm).

Original management and security were great. But as time progresses, management has become less attentive to residents. The security guard is gone, which was a key reason I selected this building. As a dog owner, I need to walk my dog late at night and a 24-7 convienence store in the building attracts some odd characters. The parking garage and thus the elevators have had a mosquito problem for a year. Socials didn't occur until survey time came along and then it was weekly socials for a month. Tenants with large patios have loud parties so avoid being near those.

This community is maintained regularly and works hard on trying to satisfy everyone's needs. One of the best qualities is the location to Metro and the quiet neighbors. This seems to be a community with professionals that understand the value in entertaining while respecting privacy. Never had noise complaints.

It has been great, other than the walls being a little thin and being able to hear the neighbors. I really like the building and it is always well kept. I have had no issues with living in the building and it is in a great neighborhood.

I enjoy this area, but the noise in my apartment is not acceptable. Noise from a local business and other rooms makes it unbearable at times. Otherwise, this is a great community to live in. Sadly, I won't release next year.

2001 Clarendon is a fantastic place to live. I've lived in five different apartments in the area (between Rosslyn and Ballston) since 2010, and this has been my favorite apartment to date. I never want to move out! The apartment is bright and spacious, building amenities top notch, and location unbeatable. I highly recommend 2001 Clarendon.

I have so far had a tremendous experience with 2001 Clarendon: the 1 bedroom/2 bath plus Den is the marquis unit, and has gorgeous wood and black marble counter tops. Plus we received one month free and waived amenity fee, which only sweetened the deal further. The leasing staff was incredibly helpful and professional, and they were very responsive to questions throughout the process. The location of the building could not be in a more prime spot: block and change from Courthouse metro, 8 blocks from Rosslyn, plenty of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. within the area, 20-25 minute walk to Georgetown, the list goes on. The building itself is brand new and has start-of-the art amenities: roof-top pool and lounge area, social room with billiards table, kitchen, and TV, highly-equipped gym with a separate yoga/fitness studio where you can select different exercise programs and follow them on a TV. The building also hosts social functions for residents (e.g. April was resident appreciation month), so there was a sponsored happy hour, and a brunch. And it seems like the building holds regular social events for residents throughout the year. I couldn't be more satisfied with the apartment unit, the building, and the area.

The apartment is very noisy, also the dryer, the washer and the air condition! If you are looking die a quiet place I cannot recommend! Positive is, it is a very pet friendly community and the office is doing a great job, they are very helpful and friendly. They are organizing social events and fitness classes for residence!

Our experience has been great so far! The other tenant are friendly and courteous and the staff has been extremely accommodating. The quality of the appliances is really nice and makes for a comfortable living space. I would recommend this building to anyone looking to live in the Courthouse area.

I absolutely love this building. Apartments are beautiful, amazing roof deck and pool, and nicest staff. It is so convenient to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, parks, trails, and the Metro, that I never use my car on the weekends. The only downfall is the rent was raised too high and I'll have to move when the lease is up.

If you are looking for an apartment where you have to whisper in your own home, cant play music, get accused of smoking marijuana ( when have government clearance and don't even smoke papers). Then LOOK NO FURTHER. Now don't get me wrong. The apartment itself is awesome, 3 min walk to courthouse metro, nice view from the balcony, awesome rooftop pool and deck. BUT, the people running this place clearly have much to improve. Note: The leasing office isn't effective enough when it comes to resolving issues. They WILL NOT respond to emails. You have to catch them in their offices to get anything done. To me that's worse than hearing my neighbors dog bark at 2am in the morning.

Very happy so far. Units have upscale high quality feel. Rooftop pool is great amenity and gym is solid with new equipment in good condition -- enough for me to do without having to join a gym. Plenty of dining and shopping in the area and easy access to DC and Clarendon. No noise issues. Planes frequently fly low overhead into Reagan Airport, but rarely cause much noise inside, which speaks to the quality of the construction. In fact they are kind of fun to watch fly by.

The staff at 2001 Clarendon are very respectful and helpful whenever there is a problem. The amenities are great; we used the amenities here far more often than our last place. The floor to ceiling windows make the apartment bright and they are in both the common area and the bedrooms.

2001 Clarendon Boulevard Apartments is a great community with pleasant, attentive staff, excellent amenities, and an ideal location. Having lived in several apartment communities over the years, I can confidently say that 2001 Clarendon is the by far the best community I've been a part of.

The 2001 Clarendon community does a great job ensuring the residents are a priority. The staff is extremely thoughtful, friendly, and accommodating. I always feel save in and around the building, which is especially important to me as I am often outside walking my two dogs. I never have to worry about finding a parking spot in the garage and I know all of my service calls will be answered timely.

PERFECT APARTMENT WITH ONE LARGE FLAW We have lived at 2001 Clarendon Apts for almost a year now. I love these apartments. The space is ample, the finishes, for an apartment, are lovely. I would have to upgrade to real wood floors, (these are good looking laminate), gas cooking, and much quieter HVAC if I owned it, but for apartment living, it's pretty luxurious. The beautiful city view from our huge windows makes me smile every time I walk in. The area is wonderful. So close to Metro, lots of restaurants within walking distance, and Whole Foods an easy 1/2 mile walk. The staff is seriously wonderful. Every concierge is friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff is quick, thorough, and super friendly. The security and cleaning personnel are great too. The amenities are first rate, although for some reason the gym can't seem to stay cool enough. I wish they would add fans for air movement. The only REAL problem is a very high humidity issue. This has only occurred in the winter. The bottoms of the windows are filmed with water as are the window sills. It takes constant wiping up to keep the mold and mildew from forming. The humidity reading in the apartment is anywhere from 48-65%. Much too high. The management is aware of the problem, and is looking into structural issues aggressively, hiring 2 engineers to date, but no solution yet. I trust that management is going to figure this out and get the situation resolved, but am frankly irked a bit that the projection is that my rent is being increased. With the possible HUGE hassle that resolution might consist of (replacing all these windows?) I would think Legend would wait to increase rents until they resolve this rather large issue. Other than that, I would highly recommend living at 2001 Clarendon Apartments! I will update this review when the humidity issues have come to a resolution.
