My overall experience at the community has been generally positive. I enjoy the location, the resident demographic, and the friendliness of the staff. However, there are areas that could be improved, including overall cleanliness, ventilation within apartments and hallways, aging lobby furniture, and maintenance of common areas such as elevators and hallways. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the living experience.

    I’ve only lived here for a week and some change. I’m loving it so far! I love the quietness of the building / floor I’m living on. I look forward to staying here for a long time! The leasing staff is amazing and very helpful and communicative.

      My overall experience at the Allister Arlington ridge community has been good. I have no major complaints. The only thing I see consistently messing up are the elevators. The overall community is friendly and the staff are friendly and welcoming as well.

        Me and my wife moved from another state and , we needed to rent place as soon as possible, after we filled our application, and get the approval,we moved to our Apartment next day, Very friendly and professional staff in office. Overall everything is great and if we make sure about parking space it will be Excellent. We really Happy and will recommended to our friends.

          Staff have been very attentive and responsive. They always go above and beyond to meet my needs. Whenever I need assistance, they do not hesitate to help. They are kind and nice. They always smile and greet you with a happy disposition.

              It’s a quiet apartment complex. People don’t bother you at all. But there is no sense of community here. You will also have problems with pests potentially… the apartments themselves aren’t bad but the ac system isn’t the greatest tbh. Overall it’s not awful, but for the price it’s really not the best.

                  My experience at my community is a pleasant one. Everybody is friendly. No matter the religion, nationality, etc. Everybody for the most part is friendly & treat others with respect. Just a family atmosphere!

                        There are pros and cons. Nice place and staff, but the HVAC system needs to be changed (it will never get below 68 degrees in the units in April, turn on the AC, 87 degrees inside is unacceptable). The elevators need to be replaced ( all 3 haven’t worked simultaneously in 4 yrs plus or if so for very little time). To pay as much as we do and then increase rent every year, although thankful for the willingness to negotiate, but to attempt to try to increase it $250 a month, better quality needs to be provided.

                          The management staff is excellent. The cleanliness of the building is poor. There are bad smells due to dirty and old carpets. There are no cameras in the halls or outside. The air conditioner cannot be controlled. There are insects and the control is very, very weak.

                              Everything has been great overall, but my unit consistently experiences maintenance and plumbing issues in the bathroom, kitchen sink, and laundry area. Additionally, the paint in my kitchen has been peeling since I moved in. I recommend using a different type of paint, and I have shared this suggestion with the property management.

                                Alister leaves much to be desired in terms of maintenance, parking, and overall cleanliness. Work orders are taken care of quickly but when they are, the quality of the fixes is questionable sometimes. Cleanliness throughout the complex is another issue. Common areas, hallways, and stairwells are often dirty, with trash left around. There’s a noticeable lack of effort in keeping the premises well-maintained, which contributes to an overall feeling of neglect. Additionally, the pervasive smell of marijuana in the hallways and even within units makes it difficult to enjoy a clean and comfortable living space, especially for those who don’t smoke. I personally get drug tested monthly for my job so this is a huge issue for me. That being said, the one redeeming quality is the relatively affordable rent. Compared to other complexes in the area, the price is decent, which makes it somewhat tolerable for those on a budget. However, affordability only goes so far when basic living conditions are subpar. If management put more effort into upkeep and tenant satisfaction, this could be a much better place to live.

                                  I lived here for a year and a half, and my experience was great! The neighbors are very friendly, and the leasing office staff, especially Nicholas and Manager Katrina, were always incredibly helpful in resolving any issues I had. Maintenance was also very prompt in fixing problems, such as my pipes and smoke detector. I stayed in a studio, but it was very spacious and had everything I needed—including an in-unit washer and dryer, which made life so much more convenient. The community is also home to many adorable dogs, and the location is super convenient—within walking distance to a dog park, grocery stores, and a pharmacy. My time here has been truly unforgettable, and if I ever return to Arlington, I would definitely choose this place again!

                                      It's been dangerously cold lately. There was an issue w/ the heat for a short time. Maintenance fixed it during the night on a holiday weekend, and they didn't even have to enter my apartment. THAT impressed me quite a bit! and I'm extremely appreciative of having a warm, safe, and beautiful place to call my home at the Alister.

                                        I love how peaceful and quiet the community is. The location is great which is right next to beltway. My commute to work was only about 13 minutes. The amenities are pretty decent too. Some improvements could be made to the apartment fixtures and features but still a good choice in my book.

                                          Nick and the maintenance staff are always fantastic. The building itself is well-kept despite being a little old. The staff does an excellent job with pest control - I have lived in older buildings in the past and they are always overrun with roaches. My two biggest complaints are (1) general noise - many of the tenants on my floor are very loud. My second compliant is the prevalence of smoking. It seems like my floor smells like cigarette or marijuana smoke 50% of the time.

                                            Thanks for addressing my maintenance requests in time and completing them with just one visit. Thank you for being promptly and putting my concerns at first. Neighbors at Alister are nice and friendly. A neighbor saved my life the first day I moved in. She figured out how to open the hot water button within a few seconds. Without her, I would have stayed up all night late waiting for the leasing office for help.

                                                I am only upset that they took the large clothes washing machines out of the hallways. The machines installed inside our units are too small. Now I have to go spend money at a laudromat whenever I have a lot of laundry to get done or have to wash blankets etc. You should have left at least some large machines on 1 or 2 floors.
