I am quite satisfied. Hope that new equipment will be purchased for aging equipment in exercise room. I have not had any problems with neighbors or noise. I am happy with the underground parking situation. I wish the pool could open sooner and close later in the season.

Great community, responsive staff, great maintenance crew who always get the job done right and on time. Noise from Glebe Rd. is only drawback and it isn't terrible, just not ideal b/c it's a main road and the windows aren't extremely thick. Highly recommend.

I have lived a very long time over twenty years at various apartments at CCT and have never had a problem with the staff. I did have a mice infestation when I lived in another apt. there and that was a nightmare but over now and moved on to a different apt. My only complaint now would be all the animals that live there and the rent keeps going up every year without a cost of living raise from work. The staff is wonderful and they really go out of there way to make you feel at home that is why I have lived here for over twenty years.

It has been a good experience. All requests for maintenance have been fulfilled promptly. Though I don't know any of my neighbors, they are respectful of noise, etc. The people working the desk downstairs in the lobby are really wonderful people. I can hear a lot of noise from Glebe. That is my only real issue.

Overall good place to stay as a transition place. Not close to metro. Can take a bus to metro. Gym to small, computer lab to old. Not enough free parking and limited guest parking hours. Always water problems with whole building. Windows are old.

Well. I moved into Country Club with my girlfriend in June-2013 after having a horrific experience with another complex (foxchase apartments - SN: I wouldn't send my worst enemy there). Overall I think Country Club is a great complex. Although some of the issues explained have some truth.. most are over exaggerated. MANAGEMENT AND STAFF GREAT. Since the complex isn't very large it provides for a friendly environment. The night staff, rental office and admin staff all know most residents by name or at least by face. Capri Baylor handled my move in process and although she was fairly new at the time, she did an excellent job. The young lady that works the night desk is very nice as well and gets along with all the residents. THE PROPERTY MANAGER ACTUALLY LIVES AT THE COMPLEX! She is a very nice lady and seems to have genuine concern about the residents. They have holiday parties, book clubs, and free food in the lobby from time to time. PARKING Yes, Parking is limited. However, it's not at all as bad as it seems. If it isn't passed 11pm you will most likely have a parking spot. If there is no parking, street parking is available. I always have my guests park on the street (The neighborhood right beside the complex). Not to mention the garage that you can pay for if you really refuse to walk anywhere. I believe regular parking is free (don't quote me there). THE BUILDING AND ROOMS Most rooms are newly renovated. Our room was in great shape upon move in. No complaints, no rodents, no insects, CLEAN. There is not much to the gym. I am a personal trainer/wellness coach and I use the gym for "mild workouts". If you want a real gym there is a Gold's 3 minutes down the road. I have never had problems with noise. Surrounding Area The shopping center around the corner has a Giant, Golds Gym, Domino's, ABC Store, Dry Cleaners, and two Diners. A little further down the road is a larger shopping center "Potomic Yard" (Shoppers, Target, Regal Theater, Chipotle, Dunkin Donuts, Old Navy,Payless, TJ Maxx, Mens Wearhouse,IHOP,. ETC) . The complex IS metro accessible. The ART Metro Bus runs every 20 minutes from the complex and takes you straight to the Pentagon City Metro station. BOTTOM LINE If you are looking for a nice place to stay at reasonable prices then Country Club is a good choice. Close to DC, right off the interstate, clean rooms/building, affordable, great staff. I also recommend country club if you are new to the area and struggling to find a good place. HOWEVER, if you need upscale special amenities like a large gym, big business center, fancy rooms; country club may not be the place for you. Just mind that you will be paying 1.5-2k for a studio in those types of complexes. I really hope this review helps. A lot of people struggle to find a reasonable place in this area. A word of advice. In this area you get what you pay for. Chances are, if the price is very low $750-$1000 you are in for an adventure (no matter how it looks when you take that first "look around").

management staff is awful, not helpful in the least, absolutely no guest parking and the washing machines never work. At the pool when there's plenty of room for guests we are only allowed two and must always provide passed even when known by the life guard. This building is very poorly managed.

I would not recommend this loud, smoke-filled complex to anyone. Horrible office staff. Horrible parking lot. The "gym" leaves a lot to be desired & it unsanitary.

Staff has been amazing. Lilia was very helpful and patient with me when I was choosing my unit. Capri always has a smile on her face and is there when I need her. Everyone has been lovely. I love my nice clean apartment as well as the amenities. My only concern is the lack of guest parking.

VERY ACCOMODATING AND CONVENIENT. APPRECIATE THE CLEANLINESS AND RELATIVE RENT AMOUNT OF THE PROPERTY. APPRECIATE THE QUIETNESS AND LOCATION OF THE PROPERTY IN RELATION TO FREEWAY AND POINTS OF ATTRACTION. WILL RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND ANYTIME.

My husband and I cannot wait until our lease ends! This place is worse than our bad college dorms! It is not Metro accessible and the neighborhood is declining rapidly in safety (there was a shooting last month across the street). The building is outdated, which is extremely apparent during the seasonal transition from heat to A/C and back. There is NOT central heat/air: the antiquated system is switched by the building managers at their convenience. The thermostat you may have in your unit is very misleading and doesn't mean you control the temperature in your own home. The parking is a joke. There are not enough spots to accommodate the amount of tenants, and the "street parking" they boast of is minimal at best, and the neighborhood you have to walk to/from to get to your car is NOT safe. Also, if you're dumb enough to get a spot in the garage, be ready to be price gouged! It's $70 for an assigned spot, but the garage has tons of leaks and fluid spills everywhere and reeks of garbage, as that is where they store the trash dumpsters. Although pets are allowed, one of the managers has a fear of dogs and she yells at every tenant she sees with a dog. Also, there is only one pet cleanup area, and the grounds are not well lit at night. The amenities are beyond ridiculous for the amount we have to pay. The business center has computers, yes, but they are very old, do not have an updated Office Suite. So while they are available "for printing" you cannot print things such as PDFs (think tickets, important forms/documents, etc.) and you cannot open many file types. The gym is older than me! All of the equipment is outdated and/or in disrepair. The free weights are dirty and rusty. It is a tiny area and there is barely enough equipment for an entire workout. The pool is open Memorial-Labor Day, but there are bugs everywhere, leaves on the deck and in the water constantly, and it's pretty shady in the afternoons, so not good for laying out. The management "team" is rude, unwelcoming after you've signed your lease, and extremely unhelpful. (Example: I got locked out of my apartment during office hours on a weekend, and one of the managers was at the pool. But she was "on vacation" so she wouldn't walk 50 yards into the building to my apartment to let me in. By the time I got ahold of the other manager on duty, it was after 5, and they made me call a locksmith, who completely ripped me off.) As previously mentioned, there is a manager that is afraid of dogs in a "pet-friendly" building. Along with all the other antiquated ways of this place, the management prints memos and notes and slides them under tenants' doors, even though there is an online portal to pay rent - they refuse to jump into the 21st century and email rather than print and slide. The windows in your apartment will not seal all the way, and most are difficult to open/close. The closets are very small and inconvenient (sliding doors, no walk-ins). All in all, look elsewhere!

Overall, I have enjoyed living at Country Club Towers. I receive a great value for the amount I pay and the staff has always treated me very kindly. The only things that have negatively effected my experience is limited access to the Metro and lack of nearby accomodations. Other than that Country Club Towers is a great community to live at.

Office staff are bitter and their personal issues come out on the tenants. Once you sign the paperwork, this place truly does not care about you anymore. They do not have a community feel at all. No place for guests to park.

Generally speaking, this is a good place to live. However, rent is constantly increasing (and not by small amounts), with no improvements. When my lease was up for renewal, other units in the building were available for less than what was offered to me. The leasing office told me I could move to one of the other units (which are EXACTLY like my current apartment) and start at the lower rent. So basically, they do not reward loyalty. Surface parking is also a major issue. You have to pay for a garage spot (I'm not sure how much, I think $50 or $60 a month), and it is very difficult to find a spot any day after 7pm. Maintenance staff is WONDERFUL and very responsive.

Country Club Towers has great amenities, conveniently located near interstate and bus stops that can transport you to metro in under 10 minutes, and landscaping. The apartment was new renovated with solid wood cabinets, new appliances, and fresh carpet, tiling, and paint. Its a huge amount of space for a great value.

It's been a very good living arrangement for me. I have nothing negative to say about it. I like the leasing office personnel. I also like how it does events from time to time. The only thing that would be better is if I could pay my rent with American Express

I don't know how anybody could write nice thing about Country Club Towers. It's the worst experience in my life I wish I never move there in the first place. Warning: parking is horrible and you're gonna get scratches from the parking lot clearly from other residents that don't know how to open their car door, you not gonna get your security deposit back, it is roach infested, the A/C vents are dusty, they don't respond to your email even if they say you may email them. And the monthly payment is not what it should be worth, I was paying over 1100 and this apartment complex is worth 750 a month... all I could say is F*%k Country Club Towers

Great apartment complex...
Great apartment complex - the only problem is parking - if you don't pay for garage parking, then most likely you will need to park on the streets - it's very hard to find parking after 7.00 PM. The staff are generally courteous and very responsive. Not all neighbors are friendly but it's a generally quiet community.
