It’s not the most elegant, most pretty or most desired but it’s very quiet and I value that very much. The population here is mostly young professionals that value their quiet time at home. Do I hear music? Yes, but it’s not until late hours or annoyingly loud. The upkeep of the building is on point and the maintenance staff is on top of things. Wish they would do more resident activities but I can live without it.

The maintenance team responds quickly and efficiently anytime I submit a work order. The work has always been done the same day I submit, and I'm able to track the progress with the automated emails. My favorite part is that when I come home, it doesn't even look like anyone was there, but the problem is fixed. 10 out of 10 for me!

I have loved living at Alister the past several months. Great amenities such as pool and gym and very dog friendly! There are many familiar and friendly faces around the apartment and it is a wonderful price for the area. Also all apartments are modern looking. Mine included an in unit washer and dryer. Each floor also has a trash shoot which is very convenient. Quiet and clean building! Highly recommend

Overall experience has been above average. Appreciate the packaging system and really like the location. My biggest issue is the lack of AC. When I moved in I was told it would be turned on in early May. This is clearly not the case and unfortunately during a week of high 80s, having to deal with an apartment with no AC is rough.

Part of a community
The arlington ridge team really cares about it's community and it shows from the leasing office to maintenance, everyone puts their best foot forward to help the residents in anyway they can. I can say I genuinely feel at home and appreciate the sense of community they bring to these apartments.

I recently moved into Alister Arlington Ridge and I couldn't be happier with my decision! The apartments are recently renovated and modern. The amenities are outstanding. The fitness center is well-equipped with the numerous machines and always clean. The pool is always clean and a great place to relax. The management team is top-notch. They are friendly, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure residents are happy, especially Nick and Alyssa. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently, which gives me peace of mind. The location is another huge plus. Everything I need is within walking distance or a short drive, including grocery stores, cafes, and public transportation. The neighborhood is vibrant and safe, making it a great place to live. Overall, Alister Arlington Ridge has exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and stylish place to call home.

Excellent Experience
My experience with Alister Arlington Ridge has been beyond stellar. The team is knowledgeable, professional, personable, and good-humored. There were no major snags or surprises in the leasing process, and the property currently offers a 30-day window in which new residents can break the lease without incurring fees. (I won't be doing that, though.) The move-in was a breeze, the rooms are clean, well-maintained, and spacious, the neighbors are friendly, and all of the appliances appear efficient and seem to work well. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience; I have no doubts that I chose the right community.

This community has the potential to be so much better, but unfortunately the bare minimum appears to be done in regards to keeping residents informed of important issues/changes, general safety, and cleanliness.

Just Right for Me; Love it Here
Before deciding on Alister Arlington Ridge, I’d looked at over a dozen apartments in the area. While some were newer buildings, and some more luxurious with fancier amenities, they also were more expensive than I could afford. Others with comparable rents had smaller units and/or were not as well kept up. In my exploration, Alister Arlington Ridge was just right. When I first met Sarah, and then Nick, they were both extremely welcoming, warm and professional. In my first month here, they’ve made what could have been an extremely stressful experience (my first time moving in 30 years!) very smooth and manageable. The combination of large size floor plans, recent renovations, ideal location, friendly community of residents, and the warmth and responsiveness of the staff; all are making this exactly the right place for me.

I have never had any problems or issues with the community and have always been able to get any maintenance issues fixed within 24 hours. The building and management are incredibly friendly and I would not want to live anywhere else at this time.

I’ve enjoyed it here. Don’t really hear neighbors, especially after refurbishing was finished. Gym is small, but rarely busy and has enough equipment to get a good workout in. Studios having a bed room space is a really great feature.

It’s been great so far. Minimal noise, and always clean. Had a few maintenance requests since I started living at Alister and most requests are usually completed on time. Management are always helpful.

Professional and courteous community staff coupled with considerate neighbors and spacious apartments makes this community a nice place to live. This location is also great! It is close to the District and great local Arlington restaurants and attractions.

We have only been here for 6 months but are very happy with our decision to live at Alister. Friendly staff and neighbors, pet friendly, smoke free environment. We looked at several other apartments before moving here and we are happy that we settled on this one. It's quiet, convenient to places that we enjoy going to, safe environment, and they have attended to maintenance issues that have arisen very quickly and made sure that we are satisfied. I love that we have amazon boxes and don't have to be concerned with our packages being stolen because they are placed in community boxes for our pickup. So far, we are enjoying our new surroundings and are very happy with choice that we have made.

If it wasn’t for the constant shutting off of the water (2x a month), I would have given this property five stars. It is an older building, so it traps in heat a lot but the units themselves are nice. The staff and maintenance are very friendly maintenance and do a great job of taking care of all of my issues.

After leaving here for 5 years we have very bad experience on the last year as the leasing office knows we are not continuing with them , they stopped maintenance at our unit . We all got sick because there may be leakage as a result all stinky waster that smells like ---- water , we report this to management and they did not take this issue seriously, mice issue was ongoing , they refuse to do permanent solutions by fixing base of the apartment ( we line in the first floor ) they put metal on the hole knowing I have 3 years old daughter . This is just some issue the we face in the recent month (last 3 months ) I have documented there negligent via email if necessary I can revel that . Because of the mice problem or $6000 couch was wasted and because of the water leakage in our other bedrooms we ended up trashing luggage and clothes . Same on the management

This is a Google review I left detailing all the issues I have had living in this community. “I have lived at the complex for over a year. Although I love my actual apartment and the layout and location. The building has been less than ideal. My water is off at least twice a month (usually Wednesday's). Power gets shut off once every couple of months for the whole day for construction. I work from home a majority of the time so this definitely makes things challenging. It was shut off when I had a friend in from out of town and was super frustrating and embarrassing she couldn't get herself ready for the wedding she came into town for, we ended up having to make other last minute arrangements for her. Loud construction most days of the week before 9 am usually (with the exception of the weekends). The staff is super sweet, friendly and as helpful as they can be but they obviously don't have control over construction and noise. Very little help after hours. I had someone parked in my spot that I pay for every month and I spent at hour trying to get someone on the phone to help me figure out what to do. I have gotten locked IN my apartment after maintenance came and fixed my door that had a broken lock. It took an hour and a half for someone to come and get me out of my apartment, I had a meeting that day and had to go into the office but obviously didn't make it and missed 5 hours for that day. Money I wasn't able to make that day. Elevators are constantly broken leaving residents with actual 10 minutes elevator wait times in the mornings. Just super frustrating all around and the building definitely put the construction over the comfort of their current residents. Just overall has not been great and super frustrating. Will not be renewing my lease. ** just another update. The apartments have been above 81 degrees for two weeks. The heat situation with the change of seasons is incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe quite frankly. My apartment reached 90 degrees on the inside last week and I was concerned my cat was going to have a heat stroke. Not to mention the fact that I was sick and severely dehydrated with no where comfortable I could go to be able to recover how I needed. I had to go to the hospital because I was so dehydrated. It’s absolutely not okay that I am paying $1900-$2000 to live in a studio apartment with this many issues. I have called and went to talk to the leasing office and there is "nothing they can do" even after this review was left and the comment in the response had said come speak with the staff about any concerns”

I moved out after 2 weeks due to management not understanding the term “central heating” and telling me Alister Arlington Ridge didn’t have central heating. It does, and they do not allow you to use AC until May 15th. During April, my apartment averaged about 77 degrees F and frequently got above 80. It is swelteringly hot. Management was understanding and has a 1-month move out policy. Appliances and floors are nice but the heat is killer.

Unfortunately, the communication from the office staff during my entire process was exceptionally poor. If I did not heavily seek out how to schedules my move during the moving day (which I was informed of by my friend) it would have been much more stressful than it already was. In addition I did not receive a tour from the staff to communicate important information such as where I was authorized to park, where the trash and recycling is located, the gym etc. As a result my car was towed my first week in the building and I was sent an email minutes after my car was already towed. Also, my apartment was not completely finished when moving in and to top all of it off I am being charged renters liability insurance when I had submitted my own. I had to deal with all of this while returning from burying my grandmother. At this point I’m unsure if training would even be sufficient.

You can view all my reviews of this place on Yelp. mills creek residential took over and this place went to the toilet. Fast, leaks all the time, overworked maintenance so everything is slow, renovations on every apartment the banging starts at 8a, sometimes the water has to be off because they are renovating other units sometimes the electric has to be off, can’t control your own air.

so far i like living in this building, the some thing would love to be change, but over all nice community lives here, very diverse. calm place to live at. thing that would make it better, more up to date appliances, such as wash and dryer. the one on the do the job but are too small you cant wash a lot clothes at the same time. also access to the pool during summer time. i get it you don't want the tenants to bring a lot people, but i think at least 2-3 guest should be a lot to come in with tenants.

I’ve had an okay experience. What initially attracted me was the price but those continue to increase significantly. Apartments are often loud with construction and elevators are often down. Office staff is good but issues are usually above them
