I have had a great experience at Stuart Woods so far. My home was clean and ready for move-in, and the office and maintenance staff have always been responsive and helpful. The gym is great, and the pool is a key feature.

The community is not the kind of upscale, luxury apartments that you find more often in this area. However, the apartments are perfectly serviceable and you get a lot more for your money than at the fancier places. Parking is readily available at all hours of the day, the buildings have above average sound dampening so you don't hear your neighbors much and the people here are friendly. There are restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The Sugarland Run Trail, which meets up with the W&OD Trail, runs right through the community. Because of the walkability, there are some weekends that I don't even get into my car. I quite enjoy living here. Oh - and you can get gigabit Verizon Fios internet in the apartments which is great.

The apartment complex is clean and organized. The staff responds very fast to any concerns or orders and is always helping. I'm very satisfied with my apartment as well as the community. The gym is nice and spacious and they have a volleyball net.

I have lived in a few apartment complexes and have visited many friends in theirs; Stuart Woods is the cleanest and most responsive apartment complex I have ever seen. It's truly a gem because many apartments are kind when they are trying to get you to sign a lease but then do not follow-up afterwards. Meaning, your appliances or home condition is falling apart and it takes weeks to even get a confirmation that someone will come to fix it. The community is not clean or there is no effort to make it beautiful. I was really shocked to see how much Stuart Woods cares about upkeep and responsiveness. It has been terrific living here so far.

Living in Stuart Woods Apartments is really good, the community is great and we decided to move in for main 3 reasons: 1 - Staff gave us a lot of attention, me and my wife really appreciate that. 2 - Apartment that we're living now is very nice. 3 - Around here there are a lot of markets, such as; restaurants, supermarkets. I should recommend this apartments for a friend.

The experience I have at this community is wonderful. The apartment is clean and the interior is very stylish. The space inside my two bedroom apartment is great for my roomate and I. The location is close to many restaurants, outdoor activities, music events, and the airport is very close too. Stuart Woods is near many hiking trails that is less than a 5 minute walk with a paved path that goes for miles and miles through the forest and scenic areas.

I have been at Stuart wood for almost 3 years and a half, 4 months in my new appartment in the same community. I feel safe, it is clean, the majority of the community residents are nice, they great you if you bump into them in the parking or on the entrance. There are daily cleaning service to the common areas, no delinquent people around, it is very family oriented and diverse. Parking space is good and the amenities are clean and in great price you pay is decent for what you get. Some appartment are remodeling but some are not and are due for a reshaping . I am happy where I am, the management listened to my concerns when that was the case and got the things in place in a timely manner. I will renew if I keep getting the same service.

A great, affordable apartment community in Northern Virginia that is actually bisected by a county park! A forest-like setting with many balconies overlooking the woods. Very convenient to both downtown Herndon and the Reston Town Center, with several Metrorail stops nearby. A real find in a mostly overpriced area of northern Virginia!

The staff is helpful, the neighbors are quiet, and the unit was move-in ready. Overall, I like the unit that I've moved into, but we were not in a position to shop around for other alternatives, e.g. renting a townhome from a private owner. These apartments are, however, located adjacent to a number of restaurants, doctors offices, and near the Silver Line metro stations, so if you are a DC commuter they're worth considering.

Stuart Woods apartments are not in a very convenient location, making it difficult to get anywhere in Reston or Herndon without a car, and they stopped their metro shuttle during COVID, and have not started it again, even though all other amenities that stopped during COVID have restarted. I would love to be able to get places without a car, but it is not a very convenient walking distance from very much, and the buses are also not very convenient. Their system for guest parking means that we can only get passes during office hours, so we essentially cannot have spontaneous guests past 5:30 pm or on Sundays. I have found that the office staff are not particularly friendly or organized, I had unplanned maintenance happen during my first day at my job, which turned out to be very loud and intrusive window replacements, and they just told me it was a miscommunication between them and the window company, and gave me a very lackluster apology. That being said, you get what you pay for with the rent, compared to what the rent around Reston has gone up to, and the maintenance employees are polite and quick to help.

Super friendly and helpful office staff. The maintenance staff is also very nice and on top of things. I like the colors chosen for the interior of the apartment, and I like the layout of the apartment. I like the Herndon area, and this is one of the cheaper options, although with that being said I think the rent is a little high for the sq footage that you get (but that is likely the case for everywhere in northern Virginia - I'm accustomed to rent in places like TX and FL where the cost of living isn't as astronomically high as this area).

Overall the experience has been okay.. the struggle is mainly residents with small children. They are either running or crying late in the evening. Also if the recycling bin was accessible it would be helpful. There's a lock on the lid so you have to throw individual items into the bin.

Living at Stuart woods has been great, they set up all of your utilities for you so you don't have to go thru Loudoun water, etc all the tedious things when moving. Neighbors are very friendly, staff is very friendly. Very kid friendly apartment. Maintenance has always been on top of everything and always gives us a heads up if for some reason they aren't able to come the same day which is very rare. This apartment complex has a great outdoor path an great dog park. If you like outdoors this is a good place.

Our apartment is a great value for the area. The community is well-maintained, and the dog park was a particular draw for us. It is very close to stores like Trader Joe's, Target, international markets, and it also backs to lovely walking trails. We are very comfortable here.

its just 2 weeks here so need more time to go through community. lots of lizards in the community never seen and also no clieancliness of backyard, pestcotrol should be done. backyard cleaning should be done every 1-2 months

Stuartwoods is a very good community, maintenance is very nice. roads, sidewalks are properly maintained. Daily cleaning of the building doors and interiors is highly appreciated. Children play park, dog park are very nice and adjacent parking area gives extra space for parents to watch their children. Adjoining sugarland run trail is another advantage. Grocery stores and pediatrician in walkable distance. This community is good for parents with children and nature lovers. Greenery is another extraordinary feature of this apartment which makes me to love this place.

So far so good! Stuart Woods is the best offering in the area for the cost - and much cheaper than other, lesser options. Office staff answers emails promptly. Always get a call back. Would absolutely recommend.
