Great community tour with pool, gym, parks near sauna Close to metro. Great neighborhood with grocery stores, restaurants everything you need is close. Free parking and close to dulles airport. Great staff

Interior design is nice with a good sized balcony and good amenities like large gym, printing room, and community room. Biggest issue I found was the thin walls (can hear neighbors baby crying every time).

Unresponsive Management and Poor Living Conditions: Avoid at All Cost

If you're considering moving to Stuart Wood apartment think twice. The management here is incredibly rude and unhelpful. They don't seem to care about the residents or the issues we face. The apartment conditions are awful—it's extremely noisy, and there are constant problems with bugs, roaches, and slugs. When I first moved in the carpet and flooring were in an extremely dirty condition and HVAC had very strong smell. I've had slugs in my kitchen multiple times, which is absolutely disgusting. Despite reporting this issue several times, the management refuses to believe it and hasn't done anything meaningful to resolve it. Living here has been a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The day we received our keys for the property we actually couldn't move in. As we approached the building there were 20 police officers, with their weapons drawn and pointing at the apartment that was below the one we had just rented. So we didn't have a great introduction to the community! The apartment is okay, it's functional and adequate. We have had a problem with mice since the first month we moved in and although the property management has tried to deal with it, it has remained a big problem throughout the whole 12 months we have lived there. Mice have damaged lots of our property and we have been constantly cleaning to remove the mouse poop and nesting material. You can hear animals Scrabbling in the walls all the time, especially at night which can be unsettling. The parking is good, we love the location and it can be quiet at times. The facilities are adequate, but the tennis court has become a play area for children so it is difficult to use for tennis. The pool/pool area is small but generally clean and tidy. We have noticed that trash is starting to pile up at the dumpsters more quickly now and is creating a smell in the heat. Overall we did consider staying another year, but communication from the leasing office was delayed and we ultimately made other plans. The location of this facility, near to shops, the trails and access to the 286 is great, but the actual problems with the apartment far outweighed these benefits.

Experience has been great! Areas are clean and tidy. Local shops are within walking distance so that I can use my feet to quickly grab a pleasant bite to eat. I could use updated appliances though, I don't feel comfortable using my stove/ dishwasher.

Rachel and her team was awesome, friendly, very knowledgeable and helped with every step of the way. Kalisa stepped in when needed with clarifying any details. I can't think of a better team to help my family with this abrupt move from a previous landlord filing bankruptcy. The unit was reserved from time of application, Rachael and her team assured us this was a better community and it hasn't disappointed not once. Staff and maintenance team is professional and onsite within minutes. I can tell that my family and I will love living in Stuart wood's apartments.

Persistent Rat Issue at Stuart Woods Apartments

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my living experience at Stuart Woods Apartments due to an unending rat problem. Despite several treatments from Orkin Pest Control, the issue persists. It's disconcerting and unsettling to encounter rats regularly in my living space, even after professional pest control interventions. This has significantly affected the comfort and hygiene of my home environment. Potential renters should be aware of this ongoing issue and consider it when making their housing decisions. It's a serious concern that needs immediate and effective action from the management. Caution is advised before moving in; you really don't want to deal with this kind of stress in your own home.

They’ll nickel and dime you for every possible thing they can. All for the privilege of living in pest infested apartments with paper thin walls. Like being accosted by homeless people in your parking lot? You’re in luck! How about an office staff that is constantly out of the office/taking vacations/otherwise unreachable? You got it! Like rude maintenance staff that will blame you instead of just fixing the ancient appliances? Stuart woods has you covered! Live literally anywhere else. Absolute joke.
