I love this community so far. The staff are great along with the people living here. Maintenance Is good as well and very helpful when needed. There are many things to do around the apartment that make it a nice environment to live in as well.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do. As soon as you walk out the complex, the strong smell of feces hits you. The apartment is decent just minor changes could make it better.

The noise is non stop. You hear everything from neighbors. And the staff are less than helpful in getting it to stop. And send out emails complaining about how much time they spend dealing with noise complaints. People let their dogs poop and pee in the stairwells. In the summer those stairwells smell so bad. And on the weekends I have seen dog poop in the hall for the whole weekend. the outside of the building has dog poop everywhere. Nobody cleans it up their dogs poop. I had an leak from the unit above me in the middle of the night that would not stop. I called the emergency number and they asked if I needed them to come out right away. Because they didnt really start for a few more hours. So I had to wait for them to decide to show up almost 3 hours later. I have sent email after email and gotten responses equivalent to we will look into it. And nothing really changes. I cannot wait for my lease to be up. The building has gone done considerably since Dodson took over.

The property manager and maintenance staff are incredibly helpful. They have helped me with service requests and handled them properly and promptly with professionalism. I enjoy talking with them too.

I actually love living here. The management is great, building is clean, package management system, close access to everything. The building can be noisy...It all depends on your neighbors and where you live in the building. Overall, it's one of the better places I've lived in RVA. Solely because of the property managers Jenelle and Cait. Let's hope Dodson doesn't lose them.

We love our new apartment at SouthBank! We moved here at the beginning of the year from Texas and have enjoyed our community thus far. The rooftop deck is my usual spot to hang out in the afternoons when the weather is nice.

It's been amazing so far! The staff is supportive and very helpful and when I was first moving they made the process very easy! They were also willing to help and work with me in the beginning which was greatly appreciated, given that I was moving to a new city and moving alone.

The third floor views are wonderful, maintainence resolved any issues we had, and management communicates effectively. Only complaint is about cleanliness when it comes to pet owners failing to clean the feces from their dogs.

Literally the whole experience is as followed: Dogs. Dogs barking at all hours of the day. The smell of dog poop around the budling at all times. Parking. Drive anything bigger than a smart car? You're out of luck, the parking spots are so small that would barely fit. Neighbor. Did you want to know what your neighbors were doing at all times? You can do that here because the walls are so thin you can hear them breath. Rent. You will be fooled, expect the rent to be $100-$200 more based on fees that are not discloses at lease signing. Smoking. Non smoking building yet people smoke all the time and it comes through the walls but nothing is ever done about that. Overpriced.. the area is close to the city, but for how terrible these apartments conditions are, they are barely worth $1000 for a 2 bedroom. Do yourself a favor and check out other lofts in the area they are much nicer.

The apartment itself is amazing. The quality of the apartment complex has deteriorated over the course of the pandemic. The office tries to do everything to keep things orderly but residents just don't seem to care.

I appreciate and love the location which is close to the interstate. I love the amenities they provide as well as the size and condition of the apt for the price! I have really enjoyed living at South Bank. The community has everything I need and is a very safe place to live. It's a perfect place for a young professional as it's close to downtown Richmond but not in the middle of VCU.

We were recommended this building by a long term friend who has lived here for over a decade. Both people in the office we spoke to throughout the process were super helpful, friendly and flexible. We moved cross country into this apartment at South Bank and they were very accommodating and made the process easy, plus the apartment is beautiful.

It's nice I really like it here. The people are nice. The service is good. I love the rooftop and the other communal activities. There's always plenty to do here and I love the big windows as well --- the high ceilings.

The office staff is amazing especially Jenelle. Every time we would walk into the house she would greet us with a smile, she always remembered our name and would treat us like family. She sold me on the apartment and is the whole reason we continue to stay

Southbank is a nice clean facility. The gym is small but clean. They have a nice rec room that can be a nice quiet space to be outside of your apartment but still inside the building. All maintenance requests are completed quickly and professionally. Overall a good place to live.

The apartments are newly renovated and the amenities are great. The windows in our apartment are the biggest we've had anywhere in Richmond. Best of all is the staff. They are super helpful with anything you need.

So far it's quiet but why there is no one perpetuating mask culture through the hallways here is nonsense. There's damn kids in this building. Staff needs to enforce this mask police inside the building. We're going to have a case of community transmission if this is not changed and puts the whole apartment complex at risk. If your tenets are sick they can not work, if they can not work they can't pay rent. I'd put more signs up inside the building and be more aggressive in general with the mask mandate. Otherwise the bodies are on your hands.

Sofar in the short time of being here, we have been greeted with warmth and friendliness. Everyone clearly enjoys living here and working here, we are already at our 1 week mark of living here and it feels like home already. I cant wait to be here for a whole year! The move in process was great it took one day and management was there every step. When we arrived i was given the wrong key but it was fixed in a matter of minutes and hopefully any issue is handled the same way.
