Been here 6 months and it's great!

I've been at Lake Bradford since October and it has been a pleasure! I've had a couple of issues in the apartment, but management is VERY responsive and maintenence is always extremely fast to come out and fix the issues. The rent is reasonable and the community is beautiful. The folks in the front office are very pleasant. Parking is never a problem and the grounds are upkept very well. The only cons are the lack of washer/dryer in units but only once in 6 months have I had to wait for a washer to become available.

Lake Bradford Apartments Review

Well, here we go: Cons: 1. Price/space ratio 2. Have to repaint walls(maybe)/clean the carpet(100%)when the lease ends. Pros: 1. Great community 2. 10 min WALK to the ocean 3. Clean. Really CLEAN 4. Management has client retantion programm (gift basket when move in, X-mas gifts,etc.) 5. Quiet. (second noise violation can be grounds for eviction)

Go down the street.

Horrible!!! I will be honest they have beautiful landscaping! I talked to a leasing manager at another Perrel Management owned property. She admitted that the reason that they kitchens (wallpaper, cabinets, stove, floors, etc.) is because they prefer to spend money on landscaping! The windows are not properly installed (We clean mold around our window on a regular basis!) Outdated Wallpaper! They painted our shower and tub? The paint is peaking and cracking! I'm sorry but a beautiful landscape does not make up for no patio/balcony, shared washer and dryer/our neighbors are gross!, no pets, improper insulation, outdated kitchens, and more spiders than I can count.

Great Apartment

This was my first apartment of my own and I love it. I have been there for about 4 months and I have no complaints. The grounds are always kept up and the management is always very nice.

Great location and great service

I've just recently moved in and am very happy I found this residence. The management went through a lot of extra effort to help me get my application submitted (I was deployed overseas at the time). They were very responsive to my needs and when I needed to move in. The apartment itself was immaculate and well taken care of. In fact, they installed a brand new oven in before I moved in. The grounds are always well manicured and clean. The location is central and close to all shopping and the rent is reasonable. Great place.

Wonderful!

I've been living at Lake Bradford for nearly a year and I couldn't be happier! The staff is incredible, any problems are taken care of immediately, it's a great place! Private laundry, quiet neighborhood, well landscaped, ample parking, available staff, quick response, and it's very safe for singles and families. Love it!

I'm glad I found this website

I have been living in this complex for a few months now and I absolutely love it here. The landscaping is beautiful and very well kept. Maintenance problems are attended to promptly and professionally. I have never had a problem with parking and almost always find a parking spot that is right in front of my door. I live in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath which I find to be more than enough room for just myself. The location is perfect and not far from all the amenities. This is a great, safe apartment complex to live in and I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect place to live

I live at Lake Bradford Apartments for almost six months now and I am really happy from the service provided in this community. The complex is always clean and well maintained. Also staff responds to my needs quickly and promptly. I ve been living in US for the seven years and I changed my residence few times in Hampton Roads but I never ever seen that much care and attention to customer like I face it here. I am really glad I choose this complex and I will recommend it to everybody. As matter of fact, I already recommended the place to a friend who already moved in here.

The Best Complex I've Lived In

I've been living here for 3 years now and I am comfortable saying it is the best apartment living experience I've had to date.<br><br>The apartments have a nice open floor plan. The staff is friendly and responsive. The noise level is normally low. Parking is great, plenty of open spaces for friends to use.<br><br>All in all, a great place to live.

Great place

I moved in 2 years ago and found the tenants here wonderful. The grounds are immaculate. The maintenance crew is top notch, responding to even minor repairs quickly. The staff is very pleasant to work with, and also very helpful. Housekeeping is impeccable. Very quiet community. I don't plan on moving any time soon

Great Place to reside in

I have been living here for over a year now and the property is beautiful. I've never had any problems with the noise and management does take serious action if there are any complaints about other tenants making noise. The Site Manager David really is very courteus and nice. The prices for the Apartments are very reasonable and I have no complaints. Maintenance crew is fast when a workorder is placed and I have also had to call them out once at night to do an emeregency repair and they came out fast to fix the situation. OVerall I would rate Lake Bradford a great place to stay. I would recommend lake bradford.

Wonderful Apartment Living

Lake Bradford is the best apartment value in Virginia Beach. It's perfect for singles or a small family. If you're looking for reasonable rent; a clean, safe, quiet, well-landscaped community; outstanding maintenance; proximity to the beach, shopping, military bases (you don't have to fight I-64 to get to NOB and Little Creek is literally next door); access to a pool and fitness center (it's just down the road); security (the fire department's only a mile away); and a wonderful staff, then you've come to the right place. I also lived here in 1982, and it has only gotten better. Yeah, my apartment doesn't have a dishwasher, garbage disposal, or central air, but they're such small inconveniences compared to what I'd pay for them somewhere else, it wasn't even a consideration for me. However, we do have new double-pane, argon-filled, double hung windows, and they definitely help on the utility bill. So, come join us. You can't make a bad decision picking Lake Bradford.

One of the best apartment complexes I have lived in!

I have a job where, when I get off work I like the peace and quiet of home. This place definitely provides that. The management definitely does their best to make sure this is a great community to live in. Any violations of the lease or any problems at all are dealt with strongly and fairly. I have lived in several apartment complexes and this one tops them all. I have rarely had any maintenance problems because the staff does regular maintenance checks of everything. The few times I have had a problem it is always handled quickly. They are even available after hours for emergencies. Bottom line this is a nice, quiet place to live that looks nice year round.

A Great Place to Live

I've lived here for a little over three years and I've had a great experience. <br><br>There is ample parking for residents and guests and the parking area is well-lit and kept in good shape (it was recently re-paved). <br><br>Landscaping is nice, too. There are trees and flowers to enjoy and landscaping crews come out regularly to cut the grass, trim hedges, etc.<br><br>The inside of the apartment buildings is maintained, too. Housecleaning staff makes sure the laundry area is kept neat and clean and they vacuum and shampoo the carpet regularly. They also repaint common areas regularly to keep them looking nice.<br><br>I have a one-bedroom apartment and have enough space to meet my needs. There is a huge walk-in closet in the bedroom which is a plus. The appliances in the kitchen were new when I moved in so that was nice. <br><br>Management responds to comments and concerns quickly and confidentially. They are approachable and helpful. Just recently, the manager called me one evening to inform me I had left my car's interior light on; he was concerned that it would drain my battery if I didn't turn it off. How's that for customer service?! <br><br>I would highly recommend this community. It's a great value for the Virginia Beach area (especially with the Chick's Beach less than two miles away) and the service is outstanding.
