I have lived in these apartments for over a year now, and I have never hated an apartment complex more. It was a great place to live when it was owned by Griffis Blessing, but they sold to Greystar and it's horrible. They charge us double for our utilities, the lights are never on, the parking situation is awful, and the maintenance people never come when they say they will. When we tried to ask why our utility bill was so high, they passed around from person to person in the office and we NEVER received an answer. Once, we had to let in the maintenance crew for a routine walk through, and they wrecked our apartment and left the back door unlocked. When we contacted the office, they told us we should go through the Colorado Springs police department for those damages. They told us not to contact them about it again. We then had an incident where our upstairs neighbor's dog barked 24/7. It specifically states in our lease that if there is an animal that makes enough noise to generate complaints, it must be removed from the property. We wrote up seven formal complaints in four months about the dog, and nothing was ever done. The final time we went to complain, the girl in the office told us that they were moving out, and they were happy about it too because they could hear the dog barking all day in the office. They simply chose not to do anything about it. Words cannot sufficiently describe the level of rudeness that the office staff exudes. Their condescending tones and blasĆĀ© attitudes, their lack of concern for your questions, and their seemingly intentional neglect of basic apartment-dwellers needs are some of the many, many reasons why you should not even consider looking at these apartments.

Just a quick note to say I really like what you are doing around here. The new paint on the buildings looks great! The girls in the office said we are getting new outdoor grills and a fire pit? So rocks! Cant wait to see it all come together! Thanks for caring enough about the place to put some money and time into. I will rent here longer knowing that you guys care about how the place is kept up.

I opted to get the apartment that has the massive living room and larger patio because I am a true die hard Broncos Fan! I wanted to be able to entertain with plenty of room to hang out. This one works! It was a little more money than the apartment with the smaller living room but it is worth every penny! Would recommend that you check out the large one bedroom if you are thinking of moving in!

As home owners for most of our lives, we were anxious about renting. Our recent move in was stress free, in that we found the apartment clean and ready, even though we had not previously seen the exact unit. There were no "unpleasant surprises" as can frequently happen when you have only seen a "model" unit. Gwen at the front office was a delight to work with. She demonstrated integrity in explaining the condition of various units. She was honest and easy to work with. She went above and beyond by listening to our concerns and then making sure our apartment was in the condition that was what we expected. As a new resident who looked at over 20 different apartments in the area, I am very pleased with our experience at Bella Springs and would definitely recommend it.

Bella Springs has a disgusting hot tub which caused me to get cellulitis ( a skin infection. ) Gross. They are slow to address maintenance concerns. The garbage pickup is sporadic and they're weird about the garbage itself. The breezeways reek of trash. Parking is a joke. The manager is exceptionally rude and patronizing. She talks over people. Her attitude is horrible. I would never recommend this place. It's awful.

Bella Springs Sticks it to Long Term Tenant Because They Can Not Because They Should After a lease period that spanned several terms with Bella Springs, our son was presented with an opportunity to move into his own home. With about 6 months left on his current term he approached the leasing office to inform them about his leaving in 60 days. Since he satisfied the conditions of his initial lease term and was on a subsequent lease agreement and remained a good tenant throughout his tenure, he was hoping that the rental office might not charge him the full 2-months addition rent that the standard lease agreement says they can charge for early termination. The Lease Break Fee in their leasing agreement clearly states that the fee is used to liquidate damages to cover Bella Springs cost to re-rent the apartment and to cover their Inconvenience for an early termination. Had my son wanted to terminate the lease early during the initial term, the 2-months additional rent is 100% justified to cover their costs. Had he completed his first term and moved out then, Belle Springs would have considered themselves to be whole having their costs to re-rent the apartment plus their inconvenience cost covered during the initial term. However since he has continued to remain a tenant after his initial lease term and continued to rent from Bella Springs what would have been considered sufficient compensation if he simply moved out after his first term was up, is no longer the case. The leasing office said they will charge him the 2 additional months rent for breaking the current extended lease agreement early, because they do not distinguish between the initial lease term (where they recapture their re-rental and inconvenience expenses) and subsequent terms (where the cost allocated to re-renting and inconvenience are additional profit margin). When asked about their rational for not considering reducing the Lease Break Fee the leasing office said it was a fairness issue saying they could not consider deviating from enforcing the full extent of their remedies and penalties contained in their standard lease agreement. In my eyes a Fair and Just landlord would consider the circumstances of this situation and not punish a good tenant to the full extent possible just because they can.

Building maintenance is great! Always quick responses and friendly/helpful staff. However, that's where it ends. The property management is less than caring and provides absolutely no accommodation for the overwhelmed parking lot. In fact, during construction, they even take additional spaces away for port-a-potties! There is not enough open parking available and the only solution provided by the management is for the residents to pay MORE money for a reserved space many building away.

To the Bella Springs Staff- Becky, Gwen, Jaclyn and Ryann, Acts of kindness do not go unnoticed, nor does a listening ear when our lives were turned upside down, due to our total loss in the Black forest wildfire. Many thanks to all of you including the maintenance crew! You re the Best, we would absolutely recommend you! JJ

Great place to live. I'm a single female and I always felt that the place was quiet, secure, and clean. I only had a couple things that needed fixing over the last 2 years but they were always taken care of within two days and done well. No complaints except for parking.... parking is no problem unless you get in late (after 7 or 8pm). The office ladies have been really nice and helpful whenever I ve ventured to the office for some coffee.

My husband and I have lived here since 2006. It is a great place as far as apartment living goes. We have always felt welcome and safe at Bella Springs. All the neighbors we have met here are extremely friendly and QUIET. It s a great place to live. Parking is the only thing I would complain about if I were to. But after reading other apartment communities ratings, I guess it s the same for all of them. We would recommend living here to anyone including our friends!

When I first move to Bella Springs Apartments I was only planning on staying for a shorter time so I didn t really take the time to look around at other apartments in the area. After things working out with my job and they gave me a longer contract I then decided to think about where I was going to live. After searching online I took a full day off to actually physically look at some other places in my same price range as my current rent and just to see what was out there since I originally did not have the time to do that. So after looking at a few other places I realized how nice my apartment and the rest of the place here was! I found other places not as nice and actually was a little higher in rent. I called the office staff and told them to cancel my notice to move, I was staying! They were happy and said they would be happy to do that. I now feel even better about living here and will continue to live here another lease term. Thank you to all of you that work at Bella Springs!

I have lived at Bella Springs for almost 10 years. It is a great location in the north side of town, is quiet and close to my grand kids. My sunny one bedroom is the perfect size and has a fantastic mountain view. They have a nice fitness center and a business center that I use almost every day. The office ladies have been there for years and are like family to me. This is my home and I highly recommend living here.

Heading back home! Lived in Colorado Springs, Bella Springs previously and now I am coming back home. I really liked living there at Bella Springs and it was a no- brainer to make it my home again. The same team is there and I have to say how comforting it is to see familiar faces! With me being out of state for several years I thought the place might not look as nice as before but it still looks beautiful! It is just so well taken care of, still looks and feels like home!

I just wanted to convey how much I enjoyed living here. I had to break my lease for a job transfer, the gals in the office were very helpful through the whole process. It has been a pleasure living in this community and having such a great office staff to work with. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for cozier place in a great neighborhood.

I appreciate everything Bella Springs has to offer and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff is exceptional and the upmost professional. The amenities provided are wonderful and very well kept. I have been given the option to move into a townhouse and oversee it for my Uncle for free, otherwise I would have renewed in an instant. My time here has been short but sweet. I will happily recommend Bella springs to friends, family, and anyone who asks about my time here. I wish you all the best. Thank you!

Do not get a ground floor apartment in this complex. The first year of living here was okay as our upstairs neighbor wasn't too loud. You would hear the normal walking around which was fine. Unfortunately, we've had a family move in above us within the past year and it is a living hell. We've complained to the office numerous times to no avail. The family above us is constantly pounding our ceiling as if they have a wrestling ring up there and are jumping off the top rope like Hulk Hogan. This earthquake-like pounding is horrific. It wakes us up at night too. It goes on day and night. I wish there was a way to make it stop but I'm left with sticking it out until our lease is up. Jacqueline is fantastic about our complaints. Gwen not so much. Gwen states it's "normal apartment living". I would talk to the neighbors but I know myself and I'm sure it'll cause more friction. I figure it's our duty to respect our neighbors, pay rent on-time and the complex should provide a reasonably peaceful and quiet place for us to enjoy. The neighbors are at it again as I type this. OMG I can't wait to get out of here. I would not recommend anyone to move here if you're sensitive to noise and by the way, you'll never find a parking spot when you come home from work.

I don t know how they do it, especially with the drought restrictions, but every time I drive onto the property I think this is such a pretty place to live. I have lived here for several years and have always thought Bella Springs was such a pretty property but this year tops them all. The flowers, trees, and all the landscaping are so pretty. If I ever move out and get my own house, I am going to have the same landscape company design my yard to look the same way as Bella Springs! I am proud to say I live here. Thank you to the management that puts forth the effort to make it so nice to be living here.
