Nice place to live
My husband and I have resided at Bella Springs for a year now and have just renewed our lease. The apartments are very nice, and the amenities are spectacular. Management has always been very courteous and helpful. Parking is very limited however... you can purchase a garage or a carport for extra. They do allow animals, but not for free.... the deposit is pretty expensive, plus you have to pay the costs for total carpet replacement when you leave. In addition you have to pay $25/ month for each pet. Overall, we have really enjoyed our time here. If you choose to live here, just expect to fork out a lot of money, b/c it's not cheap.

The walls are paper thin. I can hear my young neighbor and his homeless girlfriend's escapades go on all night long. Expect to have no privacy.

not that bad
Well, I have to agree - the parking is horrible - and they do rent to some young people who don't have a clue that there is ANYONE else in the world besides them...but I've never had any problems with the staff or the complex. I loved the apartments and have lived here for a couple years.
Rebutle to WIFES REVIEW
My wife has it out for Bella Springs. Unfourtunatly she is very insecure, and she thinks I have feelings for one of the leasing consultants. If you saw these girls, you'd understand! That is why she posted the nasty review about Bella. The garbage disposal works fine, all we had to do was hit the reset button. Please don't judge Bella Springs by my wifes review. She is a terrible person, and jelous to no end.

Difficlut management
The apartments themselves aren´t that bad. They are nice and light and have nice layouts. However, like others have said in their reviews, the management and leasing agents are terrible. The leasing agents are these snooty females (no males work in the office) who think they are so high and mighty. They will not give you the time of day and every time you go in they act like they are doing you a favor by even speaking to you. Also, the parking is terrible. There are no spots...you have to hike a mile to get to your apartment. So overall, I would live here again if not for the rude and inconsiderate leasing agents. Oh, when it comes time to move out, expect to be taken for all you´re worth. You most definitly will not get your deposit back and from my experience, you will most likley have to pay some ridiculous amount for carpet cleaning that you have already cleaned.

Wonderful property
We have been at Bella Springs for over a year now and have been pleased. We have had any work orders taken care of in a timely manor and have always been treated well by maintenance and the office staff. After reading some of the comments others have made I think so many people often times forget that apartment living is temporary, it is not going to be perfect. But we have had a very nice stay here and you can not beat the location or the amenities.

It is a high priced "hood"
When we first moved in, everything looked fresh and wonderful. However, after living in Bella Springs, it feels like we´re just paying a lot of money to live in the slums. First, the place is made poorly. They used flat paint that washes off when we try to clean around the baseboards and switch plates. The tile in the kitchen and bathroom collects dirt and never comes clean, even when I scrub it. When the unsecured wire racks used in the closets began coming out of the wall, we were asked how much our clothes weigh, not how they could help us. Has anyone ever heard of anchor bolts? There is an unexplained creaking sound in the ceiling and we always hear water draining from the pipes. Security is the nonexistant. Last year when a ground floor apartment was broken into, the owner´s response to questions of safety was, "We´ll let you out of your lease if you´re not comfortable here." It would have been nice if he actually cared about the safety of his residents. Maintenance is another questionable issue. When we asked to have things fixed, we were told to do as much maintenance as we could first because their crew was behind schedule. It wasn´t like we were trying to change a light bulb, we needed someone to help. Failing to recognize that residents needed to get to work in parts of the city that weren´t closed during last March´s storm, management let the snow build up for three days before having it removed instead of clearing it every few hours so it wasn´t such a hassle. What if there were emergencies? They don´t seem to think about the safety of their residents. Even though they offer $500 for referrals, one has to fight with them in order to actually get it. We will never recommend this place again (1. too much work to get the money; 2. we don´t want to be associated with such a crummy place). When asked if we could use the clubhouse for a family gathering, we were told no, yet there have been other private gatherings in the clubhouse. I guess we were not good enough to use it. What is the purpose of having a large space if the residents can´t use it? Are we supposed to invite twenty people into a one bedroom apartment? The only benefits to living here now are the proximity to our jobs and not having to go through the moving process. It is a shame that such a nice piece of property with such nice ammenities is wasted with the poor management and maintenance Bella Springs has.

Happy Experience
Myself and my 2 roomates lived at Bella Springs for over 1 year. Our jobs took us
out of state. Bella Springs was a great place to live. It was so beautiful with great pools and hot tubs. The staff was more than gracious! If we ever move back to Colorado Springs we will definately live at Bella Springs!

Not recommended
OK, so it look nice when you drive by. So the clubhouse is pretty. But that´s about it. I think the word "luxury" needs to be looked up in the dictionary. These are advertised as luxury apartments. Not so. The apartments aren´t so great: poor design, small living rooms, wasted space... And the staff is immature. I expected more, I guess, from a luxury apartment. I don´t think I trust the construction based on different things I´ve heard from other tenants. I´m disappointed. I do not recommend.

Don´t Even Consider Bella Springs!
We lived in these apartments for a year. 2 months after moving in, we were ready to move, but had to serve out our time on the lease. We have been miserable the whole time. The maintenance staff is incompetent, and the women in the office are rude and inconsiderate. They act like you are inconveniencing them to call them with a question.

When there was a lot of snow back in March, the maintenance guys were helping people dig their cars out with snow blowers, and when we asked for help, then let us borrow a shovel. Gee, thanks. Then after we finally got our cars out, they drove by with the snowblower and blew snow all over us.

They have an insane list of policies, and a newsletter that treats you like idiot, describing in detail of how to dispose of your "unsightly" door mats, and where you can purchase more attractive ones.

The worst part of all, is when we gave our notice to vacate, after suffering there for 13 months, they gave us back a copy of our lease, which we never go one of in the first place, and told us we were 16 hours late giving notice, and that we had to pay for another month´s rent. Since we had no intentions of staying another month, we had to give them another almost $900 for nothing.

I don´t reccomend this place for anyone. All they care about is money, and looking pretty while they sit at their desks drinking their espresso. You have been warned...

Not if my life depended on it
Bella Springs are the worst apartments I´ve ever lived in, or even ever heard of. When we were considering moving to Bella Springs, the girl that showed us the model LIED to us. She stated every apartment comes with a washer and dryer, and every apartment comes with cable and high speed internet. We repeated these points again before we moved in, and she said yes, that´s right. Then when we went to sign the lease we found out that this was incorrect. At that point it was too late for us to find another apartment to live in, so we had to sign our lease or be homeless.

Then when we had a big snow storm, they hired trucks to come plow the parking lots, piling 2 feet of snow in front of my truck, and 3 feet of snow in front of my garage door. When I asked for help getting my cars out, they handed me a shovel and I had to dig myself out.

Then we got a dog and I went down to sign a pet adendum on a sunday afternoon. Instead of letting me know my fiance needed to come sign it, a week later we recieve a notice stating that she does need to sign the adendum. The great thing about this notice was that it was dated the 3rd, requiring action by the 6th, and we got this notice when? That´s right, on the 8th.

Now after all this you would think we would wanna leave as soon as possible, but we decided that we would stay out our lease. Our lease is up, and we gave them notice on the 2nd that we were unhappy and were moving out at the end of our lease. Now you would think most businesses would wanna find out what happened and wanna make it right. Not the management. They gave us back a notice stating that our notice to vacate was givin to them 10 hours late on the 2nd instead of the 1st, and we have to pay rent for september. They basically said that they were sorry that we were unhappy, but it is their decision if they wanna do business like that.

By far if you wanna help yourself, find another place to live.

Agree it is a bad place to live
We have lived here for less than 6 months and already have to break our lease. This place is so badly managed and overall these apartments are loud. The residents don´t care if you don´t like their music, they play their stereo´s very loud, to the point where you can hear the lyrics, at all times of the day. The whole trash pick up rules are ridiculous, therefore making apartments smelly. We would also sue for our rights, but we cannot afford it because when you move out you end up paying the apartments more than you even have. I do not recommend these apartments to anyone. Your better off renting or purchasing a home.

Great Staff and Crew!
We have lived here for over 1 year and will continue to live here after our lease expires. The amenities are great and the fact that they have 2 pools ( one very large) and 2 hot tubs instead of the normal 1 pool and hot tub is such a plus. The office staff members are very professional and the maintenance crew is very nice! Hat´s off to Bella Springs.

Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!
I lived at these apartments for about a year now. They are awful!!! You will get fined for trash if you put an empty box out side for trash pick up, they will invade your apartment any time they please without your knowing as well. The gals in the office are some of the rudest people I have ever incountered. They have over half of the complex empty right now. They have fined so many tenants for small stupid things that do not matter because they are so hard up for money to make the mortgage payments. You must also be very careful on stairs because in the winter they are full of ice, and half of the lighting fixtures are out in them as well. My main concern while living there was that the heater was not properly working in a brand new apartment! They couldn´t fix it or even had maintainance look at it until the fallowing day because of the whole needing to have concent to go, which was fine, I can deal with it for a day I guess, even though I am dishing out over a thousand dollars a month. We did not even have a fire extinguisher for 8 months of living there. Then they decide one day to walk in without our knowledge. That just makes me uncomfortable, especially considering what if you were at home in the shower and you heard them. They had done it before, they won´t knock or anyhting, just come in and it is usually a guy without anything to identify himself as an employee from there. It scared me a lot. I would never never recomend this place to anyone after that. We also had extremely loud neighbors. They would have music up so loud we could hear all of it, words and all, they were 2 floors below us and on the other side of the building. the office expected us to handle it, that is actually their responsibility. What if we had gone down there and gotten hurt or killed??? we don´t know these people, they were rude and acted like they were gangsters, so we were very affraid to approach them. I don´t feel that it waas our responsiblilty to. There is also very limited parking and very bad visibility in the parking lot. People park on the sides of the road because there is only spaces you must pay for. they will give 4 free spaces for about 4 buildings of 6 apartments. The showerheads were also coming off of the walls, we were the first people in the apartment and never had touched the showerhead too. This was the worst place I have ever lived!!!
