Quite and a great part of town.
Bella is a great place to live. The management is extrememly friendly, you can pop in any time to discuss a problem or ask a question without feeling like you are bothering them. They get maintenance issues fixed immediately. It is the most quiet apartment complex I've ever lived in. I have never heard a neighbor or anyone downstairs, even on the weekends! They really want to help you and cater to your needs. This is a great place to live. I wish I would have found it sooner!! The rent is also very afforable for the Northgate area. I really love this part of town! Of all the other apartments I've visited, and this place feels like home.

We lived here for a little over 2 years and enjoyed every bit of it. From friendly staff to great activities this is a place you want to be. Attached garages and quick maintenance, it makes living easy. We recommend this place to all who are looking for a place called HOME.

Best area in town
I grew up in Monument and wanted to find a place that was close to my family without living with them. Bella Springs is perfect. 10 minutes from the springs and 45 from denver.

Lovely place
I was a little hesitant to move to Colorado from Kansas at first. I was living in a very nice complex and didn't want to move. Well my job wanted me to go to Colorado so I started searching for apartments in the Colorado Springs area. After looking at a few and not finding the perfect one, I found Bella Springs apartments. I scheduled a meeting with one of the office ladies and gave it a chance. Well after looking around the complex and meeting the office staff I decided this is where I wanted to live. That was around the beginning of the year. After being here about 10 months I must say that I love it here. It is so quiet, even during the day. The grounds are always immaculately kept and the office ladies are just as nice and helpful as the day I toured here.

Beautiful Apartments
My daughter lived at Bella Springs before moving to Durango and then my son moved there. I've always felt very safe when visiting them, even when walking to my car late at night. I recently toured the swimming pool area, the smaller pool area and the hot tub area, and I had never realized how beautiful and well kept they are. I was also impressed by the beautiful lobby area with the fireplace.

New to the area
I'm from the great state of Texas and just moved here because of work. One of my co workers had suggested I look into Bella Springs apartments. Boy am I glad I did. This place is great. My job is supposed to be a 2 yr one and I am gonna stay here for the whole time. This will be my first winter here though, might need to trade in these boots for some snow shoes! Anyways this place is gorgeous and the staff and other residents are very friendly.

Bella is the bomb!!
Bella Springs is the best! I love living here! Moved in about a year ago and barely even remember the move in process because it was so quick and painless, not to mention the ladies in the office are very easy on the eyes. I have lived in several complexes in town and this one is by far the best. My dogs love it here too! Plenty of stuff to do nearby; hiking, shopping, eating, drinking, etc... Bottom line is that if you are moving to Colorado Springs go with Bella. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful Bella
I have lived at Bella Springs for almost 3 years now and I absolutely love it! The residents are all friendly and the staff is incredible. It is the best place to live in Colorado Springs. I have no complaints whatsoever. I will continue to rent from Bella as long as I am in Colorado Springs. They have fun events and stay current on their facebook page, which is nice.

Mildly Satisfying
When we first moved in things were great, the office staff bent over backwards to get our business. Once we signed the lease things changed. The pool and spa area were almost always at least a foot under filled. Broken glass in the area a couple times from people drinking in the area. You wont hear your neighbors side to side, but up and down, you better believe it. Parking sucks, way too much covered and not enough uncovered. People will park in your paid spot if everything is full, and you are coming home late. People speed like crazy around corners, I have been almost hit I don't know how many times. I watched this 5 year old girl crying almost get ran over around this brick wall corner. If you plan on moving into this place just be prepared to pay way to much in "common utilities" on top of your outrageous utilities you have to pay for your apartment. I was standing in the living room, and I felt a strong steady draft in my apartment when it was 20 degrees outside. (no wonder my heating bill is sky high, I'm cooling the outside. Don't take this all one sided, Bella Springs does do some cool things for their tenants, fight nights, movie nights, pool parties, free breakfast just to name a few. They are a mildly descent complex, BUT for the money we paid every month, not worth it, the money is for pure cosmetics of the place, not functionality. If and when you decide to move out, be prepared to be told one thing, and find out it's something different. I can understand one time, maybe two, but every single thing during your move is call back in a couple weeks (when you call back they say oh you should have booked that a couple weeks ago!)

Love Bella!
I have enjoyed the stay here at Bella Springs Apartments. Our lease was expiring and my husband and I thought we might look around at other apartment complexes to different rates. Not only did we find out that we had such a good deal on our new rate but it reassured us about why we moved here in the first place! Thank you to the office and maintenance staff for all they do to keep this a nice place to live. -Cindy

Thanks for all you do.
Both my husband and I have really enjoyed being able to get off work and just go chill in the outdoor pool area. The last place we lived had such a small pool area and there never seemed to have enough pool furniture. Not the case here. Any how just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to enjoy our summer!

Pretty Place to look at but NOT to live at
I'll first start off with all of the positives. I love the location Bella Springs has to the North end of town. There is wonderful landscaping and a beautiful pool. The staff is usually friendly and very helpful with the exception of one of the workers, all of the other girls are very sweet. The apartment was very nice on the inside. I can't complain at all about the condition the apartment or the maintenance staff. They usually came a day or two after we told them something wasn't working right and they would fix it. However, there are several issues that should be addressed. First is the parking. If you are out anytime past 7 PM, there's a pretty good chance you won't have a parking spot when you get back. They don't offer any of the tenants a free covered parking space, there is a monthly fee for those. There has been a few accidents because people have to park on the side of the road and are in other cars blind spots. The second issue I had at Bella Springs was how many bumble bees are wasps are by the pool. They are everywhere! Every year it seemed like there were more and more nests of them. Also, the hot tubes are usually not working and are lukewarm or cold. The last issue and the issue that made it unbearable to live there were some of the tenants. Most of them are really nice and friendly. However, the bad neighbors are really bad. Parties until 3AM, spouses fighting, dogs barking early in the morning, and dog poop that is EVERYWHERE. It's so nasty. We have a small dog and we always clean up his mess. But we got a notice on our door giving us a warning about it! It made me so upset but I think they just sent it to everyone who they know has a dog because it was so out of hand. I feel bad for the maintenance staff, it should not be their responsibility to pick up dog poo. It really is everywhere, and it is gross. Bella Springs is beautiful but our experience there hasn't been the best. If there were a way for the parking and the dog mess issues to be addressed and solved it would be a great place to live.

This is the worst apartment complex ever. The office staff is very rude and do not care about anything. It takes maintenace weeks to get to fix anything in your apartment. When I moved in my apartment was very dirty and had red spots all over the carpet. Do NOT live here!!!

This seems to me to be one of my favorite properties I have ever lived in.
I have enjoyed living right across the street from where I work. That was the main reason I visited Bella Springs in the first place. But then the girl that showed me around was so nice and had so much information on the area I felt like she really knew her job and I was very impressed. Since moving in, I have been able to meet other residents that also moved here from out of town and new to the area as well. One of the great things they offer is a resident's nights every Monday evening at the local sports cafe. This is a relaxed time, half price on food and just a fun time to socialize. The office staff even comes. This is a nice way of getting to know them, they all are so friendly and even cute!! Anyhow, I just wanted to thank them for how nice my move has been to Colorado Springs thanks to them!

Worst apartment I ever lived in!!!
This apartment complex was the worst apartment complex that I have lived in all of my life and I have lived in many apartment complexes during my life. In my lifetime, I have never been treated so poorly and rudely as this management complex has to me. The manager and assistant manager are very nasty and rude. They are only nice to you when you consider and talk to them about moving into their apartment complex. Once you are one of their tenants, they could care less about you, especially when it comes to living in an uhealthy living environment. I lived there for a year and was a very good tenant. I was quiet and never caused any problems for them but despite that, I was still forced to leave after my lease was up since they gave me notice that they want to have me moved out when my lease was up. I wish I had never moved into this complex, but was recommended to me by an apartment referral company while I was living in another state. The parking situation is in horrible in this complex. I was unaware that a covered parking space costs extra depending on where you live, until I signed the lease. In some places, it is $15 dollars extra a month or as high as $30 dollars a month where I resided for the majority of my lease. If you do not pay for that, you have to hope and pray that there is a parking space close to your apartment and If not you have to park very far from your apartment complex and walk very far and even sometimes there is not even one of those kind of parking places. So you are stuck without any parking places. Also their way for handling garbage pick up is awful. You have to put it at the front of your apartment on the lawn. If its windy, it gets blown around and garbage is all over the place, as they do not have dumpsters. Really disgusting. I am so glad to be out of that horrible place and now do not have to deal with such rude management that I never had to deal with this kind of behavior before in my life. My new place is much more pleasant and comfortable. Also all I can say to prospective new renters is do some research with business checking companies so you do not learn the hard way like I did. I really hope that my information helps prospective renters, as I do not like to see people being mistreated or unfairly treated, such as I believe I have from this particular apartment complex. Now that I see that you have restricted me from posting further reviews/complaints on this website. I will document this and see you in court. Who do you people think you are, messing with me like this? I will glady show the judge and explain all the mistreatment and horrible experiences I experienced while living in your repulsive apartment complex.

don't do it!
My apartment was filthy when I moved in. The floor was covered in bright red, yellow, and brown stains, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned at all and the kitchen was also rather dirty. I complained to the manager that the carpet desperately needed to be replaced (the maintenance staff actually agreed with me and apologized) but the manager refused and told me that I could still leave before the month was up and get my deposit back... she basically told me that if I didn't like it, I should get out. She was incredibly rude and only offered me a ten percent discount on my rent for next month. Apparently she had PERSONALLY reviewed the premises and found the carpet to be acceptable... which means she's either blind or a liar. I should have left then and I regret that I didn't, but I had just moved every piece of furniture I own up three flights of stairs and I was too tired to even bother getting it all packed and back down again... I would have had to call the movers and shell out another couple hundred to move again which just wasn't an option. So far, this place has been a giant disappointment. The one and only redeeming factor thus far has been the maintenance staff which consists of two highly qualified professionals who are supremely friendly and efficient (which is more than I can say about the manager). Don't get an apartment at Bella Springs, it's just not worth it. Also, my heat bill has been real high due to piss poor insulation. Turning on the electric fireplace is fun, but it coats your apartment in that burnt gas smell and costs quite a bit.

Glad I'm OUT!!
Manager (-----) is very rude! She is nice at the beginning but tends to be very controlling and demeaning afterwards. Parking is horrible; it's first come first serve. There is covered parking but you have to pay extra for that! There are no dumpsters so the place looks like a dump a few times a week because the trash is piled up in front of all the buildings. The landscape looks nice but that's it. Had quite a few problems with drinking at the pool and having to leave for the protection of my kids. On the surface everything looks good, but if you re considering this place, pray you have no issues with your apartment or just that the manager likes you, she has a ---------------------------.

not a bad Place
I have been here for 2 months now and I think this is the best apartment community that I have lived in. The apartments are gorgeous and very well maintained. I have found the leasing staff to be nothing other then prompt and courteous. I did have a problem with the A/C that took a while to resolve, but that is because they were waiting on an outside contractor. Other then that everything else has been promptly taken care of. When I moved in, the manager even came to my unit to make sure that everything was acceptable to me. I have never had that happen anywhere else I have lived.

Rent somewhere else =/
I personally can not wait til my lease is up this year. Pros: -Outside looks great = looks can be deceiving -Gym is 24/7, you get your own key to it. I like that they have 2 TV's (if it's working properly that day) and a radio ( " ") -heated pools BUT they're only up to 5 FEET!!! CONS: -I know people that have been ROBBED at this apt. and the mgr didn't do ---- about it. She aka ----- the ----- won't let you change your lock to a diff one, they will only replace it with a similiar lock = pointless crap. -Staff can be deceiving as well. ------ person is -------, most bitchest would be her boss the MGR -----. They're only nice if your new and trying to rent then after that, they could care less. -They have their own utility bill sent to you each month along with your reg. Co. Utility Co. -Parking sucks, unless you get off at 5pm latest 6, you will not find parking. Most ppl actually park on the side even when they're not suppose to, that's how bad it is. - NO LAUNDRY FACILITY. Nearest one would be off Woodmen = hello that's still far. They provide a washer and a dryer in the apt. but they're pretty small compared to average sized washers/dryers. -Don't use the AC/heater too long, it'll just go out the door.

Excellent Experience! Would Recommend to Anyone!
My husband and I lived at Bella Springs for about a year until we moved back to our hometown. Though we were excited to return close to family, we were very sad to leave. Our experience at Bella Springs was nothing but positive. The girls in the office are wonderful, and they always remembered who I was and were very helpful and nice! The maintenance guys were also really great, and they responded to work orders very promptly. They even were careful not to wake me up one time when I was in bed sick. The apartment itself is great quality, and the location is something we especially loved. Mountain views, and out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Very close proximity to the Academy and major highways, etc. The grounds are always kept clean, and the pools/hot tubs are the best I've seen at an apartment complex! I would recommend Bella Springs to anyone!

Horrible
I have never been so disappointed in a living space in my life. The office managers are rude the apartments are falling apart. My windows leaked are caused water damage to my apartment, my sink leaked after it was "fixed" and my work orders were never followed through on until I called and checked on it. Ridiculous

They will rip you off at every opportunity - beware
Bella Springs looks great on first glance. Don't be fooled. Read the ENTIRE lease before you sign it. This place will nickel and dime you for every single thing. Want a puppy? Better get ready to put down an extra $1000 deposit. Make sure you look at the lease breaking section. It's insane. They're like some kind of dictatorship. For us to break our lease a couple months early would have cost around $3000 or more. Want to pay your rent online, a service that almost every business in existence offers? Well, Bella Springs will charge you a $20 "convenience fee" to do so. And in the explanation for this fee, they simply say "You may be charged a convenience fee. Bella Springs can charge these whenever they want, at any time." That sounds real ethical. Tack another $20 on to our rent when we want to pay it while on vacation. The parking is absolutely ridiculous. They would have enough parking spots for everyone if they hadn't covered half of them with shoddy carports so they can charge an extra $30 A MONTH for them. Because most people refuse to pay that insane amount for a parking spot that should be free with the crazy rent in this place (between unavoidable community utility fees and rent we paid about $880 a month for a two bedroom) there are constantly people parking in fire lanes in the way of others trying to get to work in the morning. The apartments themselves are decent inside, but the material feels pretty cheap overall. It's really easy to hear your neighbors above and below you. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the maintenance staff is not great. Our weather stripping on our front door was horribly done, and when we asked them to come fix it they simply glued a few strips of material into the door frame haphazardly, which fell out within a week. We got an apartment with a built in washer/dryer, which was really nice, but I'm sure we paid a premium in our rent for it. Many apartments only have hookups, or force you to use the community laundry. All in all, Bella Springs feels like an apartment complex that was quickly thrown up by some wealthy organization to rake in money, which is what they're doing, at the expense of their renters. I understand that it's a business, but some businesses actually have some sense of morality when dealing with people. Bella Springs seems not to. There are a ton of apartment complexes in that area of Colorado Springs, and if I were renting in that area again I would definitely make Bella Springs my last choice. I would never recommend it to a friend either. I'll end this long-winded review, fueled by the stupid convenience fee I just had to pay, with my favorite memory of Bella Springs: My fiance and I being woken up at 3am by some resident walking through the parking lot outside of our building screaming swear words into his phone at the top of his lungs.

I miss Bella Springs
I moved out of Bella Springs just under a year ago because I was looking to save some money on my rent. I moved into another complex in Colorado Springs, and the money I have saved has not been worth the hassle. When my lease is up where I live, I will be moving back. The staff and maintenance were always responsive. I never had to deal with the manager, but from what I saw she was just a person doing her job. I did pay for parking, but 20 a month was better than a paying 300 because my car got towed. The extra money is worth it to me for a safe community, where I will be happy.
