Dog poop, no parking, rotating door for migrant CA girls
I lived in one of the "corporate apartment" rentals last spring. I took it cuz it was had more sq footage than a hotel room for 2 months with my dogs. When I moved in there was dog poop all around my building. I moved from HI so my dogs get picked up after and during EVERY walk, the standard condo/apt dogs that they are. (and they are 50 lb dogs). I had a reserved carport, but neighbors parked in it. I went up front and complained and they gave ME a sticker to put on the offending car. Wait...I don't work there. Anyway, everytime I went to the front desk for help, questions and then to inquire on pricing to move in...I think there was another migrant CA girl, blonde of course, at the desk. I love the way this and other Griffins Blessing (aka Griffins Hauntings) properties sound like they are giving you the deal of the day by letting you know their property today price and that it may change tomorrow. After 2 months of $50/mo dog rent and a $400 non-refundable pet deposit I was out to save some money someplace else!! Rent locally, support local landlords and don't rent at these BIG apartment complexes!! I now rent one of those bungalow type houses from a LOCAL landlord who reponds to our back up sewer (next day repaired) or that I have a foster dog ("no problem, don't need more deposit or rent").

------ Fabulous
If you are young, like to party, and like to throw your trash in your front yard this is the place for you! I would have never thought that these apartments would be such a nightmare. The staff should have been the first warning. They really are as bad as the other postings have said. The staff is rude, stuck up, and incompetent. The manager is the worst of them all. I was threatened by her a month after I moved in. Parking is the worst here. Some residents have to park in the front and then walk all the way to the back to get to their apartment. There are no dumpsters. You put your trash out on the curb three days a week. Sound convient? No. Residents leave trash out all days of the week and throw out furniture. It looks so ------. The apartments themselves are built crappy material. My front door shakes whenever someone goes in and out of their apartment. There's a huge draft. It was "fixed" once but, obviously, the maintenace didn't actually fix it. When Maintenance uses the leaf blower they blows dead bugs through the gap of my door. You can hear everything. People talking in the entry ways. I can hear everything the people do upstairs. I mean EVERYTHING. If you are lucky enough to get an apartment near one of the many partying residents-- don't bother asking management for help. They will only make it worse for you. There are lots of young residents here too. One of my neighbors is always having a party. One night I stepped out of my apartment and was almost hit by a water balloon.

uh....don't rent here. you will hate it after you meet the staff.
Stuck up, snotty, barely dressed, unprofessional, decieving, disrespectfull, misleading, oh and will probably reply as a tennant and say "everything is fine here! maybe you are -------- and management always bakes the most delicious cookies!", I think i'm gonna throw up. Just keep driving and rent elsewhere.

A Great Place to Live
Bella's management team is competant, professional and friendly. Maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly. Fabulous location! In addition, my neighbors are very nice, which is a plus.

WOW THE STAFF SUCKS!!!!
What a bunch of nasty hookers! They should be ashamed with the way they do business. Get over yourselfs, I can't believe anyone would put any of you in a position of athority. They are disrespectful and demeaning to anyone other then young military or college men. They charge you an arm and a leg for horrible living conditions and they never fix anything. This place is like letting a bunch of Hooters girls manage an apartment. Discustiing! Don't come here, unless you like being treated like your worthless and you like wasting money. If your stuck here now I suggest reading up on all apartment laws so you know your rights because they will take you through the cleaners. I called with a complaint once and they actually told me that they would rather speak with my husband because they like him better. YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING! Those of you who have left nice reviews are either a staff memeber, dating a staff member or under the influence. GOOD LUCK!

This place is deceiving!
We were initially drawn to this complex by it's outter beauty and surrounding area. However, upon our residency here, we have found IT IS NOT WORTH IT! The management seems to be culturally bias, narrow minded, and often outright RUDE. Parking is VERY limited, and at times there is NONE what-so-ever! The garbage pick-up comes every M, W, F mornings, however, management fails to enforce this policy. Garbage and debris is found regularly around the complex at any given day or time. As other reviews found on this site, we agree: JUST KEEP DRIVING BY!

Trash is a problem...
Although the idea of zero dumpsters on the property is great, the obedience of residents following trash guidelines is awful. The mngmnt should enforce the rule of not allowing trash to be put curbside until early morning hours on trash pickup days. Trash can be seen throughout the property the afternoon and evening before morning pickup. The trash blows into parking lots, etc. Parking is pretty bad, as there are not nearly enough open spaces. Overall, a nice place. hoping for improvements to yet improve what could be a great place to live.

Finally more parking!
Just recently more parking spaces were added. Parking used to be tight, but now it's so much better, especially on the weekends. And the office always has the most delicious cookies for residents!

Aweful Management
Management does nothing to help their residents. Parking is horrible. Price is ok. Hot tubs are usually cold. Other residents are nasty and unfriendly. Would not recommend.

Walls Are Thin As Paper
I constantly hear my upstair neighbor stomping and pacing back and forth like a captured wild animal all night long. The construction is so shoddy that sounds like an elephant should be living above me when, in fact, it is a small sized female.

Horrible construction with no noise reduction steps taken and little to no insulating material.

Most of the positive reviews are written by the management staff themselves.

Keep driving past this place.

Great for families!
My family is currently living at Bella Springs while our house is being built. It is such a great place to live! Not only did they accept our large dog, but the bus picks up and drops off our kids right out front. The clubhouse is even open on cold mornings so the kids can wait inside. Thanks, Bella!

While a great place to live, the new management has brought in some new and convenient features...can't wait till the credit card payments on line is activated. This will be soooo cool>

wireless at the pool - how cool
Just wanted to thank management for installing wireless at both pools and innercourt yard area. I am able to take my lap top to the pool while my kids swim. This is really nice--thanks.

Would Not RENT EVER AGAIN!!! KEEP DRIVING PAST
The outside appearance of these apartments drew us to rent here however that was a big mistake. The apartment did have a nice garage but that was it. The construction horrible. You could hear everything from neighbors on all sides. I could not even run an appliance without having neighbors complain. A prior review likened the construction to cardboard and spit - that is almost being nice. The staff at the office once the lease is signed don't care unless you are a college male they can flirt with. Responses were not timely and you could never talk to a manager or assistant manager. Each was very unprofessional in the way they conducted business. If you are a nice person I would highly consider living elsewhere.

I feel like I live at a Resort
We cannot tell you how much we have enjoyed the outdoor pools. Most properties only have one pool and seating is tight. But we have really enjoyed both pools along with plenty of pool furniture. We are building a new house and are looking forward to that but we will really miss the pools!

Parking???!!!
Parking here is terrible. And I mean terrible. There is not enough open parking for the complex to hold up to their end of the lease agreement and they don't care. There used to be curbs that were not painted and people would park there but the complex is so money hungry that they painted them "no parking" trying to force residents to pay outrageous fees to rent covered parking. This is enough for me to warn potential renters to look elsewhere. If I knew what I know now I would have never signed a lease here. This and a few other problems like the fact that if you get college kids renting above you that pee off the balcony onto your car, throw empty beer bottles off the same balcony at cars and light fireworks off said balcony they will do NOTHING! as long as they pay rent that is all they care about. DO NOT RENT HERE! It is a nightmare! Dont even think about trying to get them to fix things that quit working like your dishwasher or furnace, they will not do it and come up with tons of excuses. You've been warned!
OH....Ive heard that management tries to figure out who has written these comments and get them back, I say go ahead and figure it out!

not great but not all bad
While not the "luxery" living advertised it is still an OK place on North end. Some issues but what apartments don't - GREAT GARAGE! Pools kept nice but with kids peeeeeeing who can keep up, hot tubs a bit cold because of these kids too. Parking an issue. Snow removal has been an issue. Built Cheap by 1st Texas investment co. New Mgt CO trying harder. Heaters a joke can't get over 70 in winter. LOTS of cold air drafts - doors and windows. Mgt gets this feedback and tries to match with tenents. Referal fee PAYMENT is a joke - "small print rules." Most people do not get deposit back. Most stay less than one year. Several "corporate" apartments. Can't tell you all since it will limit their search for who!!!

Nice, large garages!
My wife and myself were so impressed with the size of the attached garages at Bella Springs. We were able to park 2 cars, 1 motorcycle, 3 bicycles, and camping gear and still have room left over. Nice garages.

I was able to swim in the winter
Not many apartments in Colorado actually spend the money to keep outdoor pools open but Bella Springs does. I can't tell you how many times my 2 children were able to enjoy to enjoy swinning in the pool while I was able to relax in the outdoor hot at the same time. I just want to say thank you to Bella Springs.

BAD MANAGEMENT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
I moved into Bella Springs Homes with the impression that this was one of the best locations in town with great management who is willing to work with you to make your life here easy and a great expierence. Unfortunatly none of these things are true. The management as others have reviewed are unhelpful and they all have diffrent stories when asked about a certain rule or situation. When tring to reach them there always seems to be an excuse to why they cant return your call FOR A WEEK!!! I have talked to lease officers and management about lease terms and was given the run around for one month about leaving costs, when it came down to the time to leave neither of them seemed to recall the conversations and prices we had discussed. I felt lied and cheated out of alot of money. I would highly recommend that you stear clear of this complex and there staff.

Short stay, nice place
My husband and I, and our family stayed at Bella Springs for 3 months while our new house was being built. We were grateful to find such nice living conditions that offer a short lease term at a great price. We loved the two pools and outdoor hot tub. It was hard to pull the kids away even though we moved into a beautiful new home.
Just wanted to say thank you for the nice stay.

Used to Live Here
I lived here for a year in 2003. I lived in a 3rd floor 1 bedroom apartment.

Noise: I expect to hear my neighbors but early in the morning or late at night, i would hear them opening and closing their dressor drawers. That's a little too much. I could also hear them talking while I was trying to sleep.

Staff: I ran into some nice folks but the majority were rude. I would hear of one thing about the rules from one person and then another person from the staff would contradict it.

Cleanliness: We would get flyer upon flyer about how if trash was left out, you would get a fine. But, I would see trash left out all the time and nobody would do anything about it.

Facilities: The internet access had to be shut down b/c someone kept going to porn sites. And the door to the club house would always be propped open so the entire neighborhood would be in there using the gym and hot tub.

Parking: I had to rent a spot just so I could find a place close to my building. People regularly park in handicap and even in your rented spot if they get disperate enough.

Moving out: I was the first person that rented this apartment. When I left, I hired Merry Maids to come in clean everything. I left it spotless and they still found a way to charge me so I could only get half of my deposit back.

Desolate and Overpriced
Looks nice when you drive past and seems like a good compromise if you commute between Colorado Springs and Denver but unfortunately you quickly realize this place is actually really just stuck out in the middle of windswept desolate nowhere and unless you work at the AFA you are cut off from just about everything.

Other bad points include the comically rude office staff who seem to be trapped in a continual war of attrition with the renters. Yes, they literally DO roll their eyes at you and yes you WILL come home one day to find them snooping through your apartment.

The apartments themselves appear to have been made from cardboard and spit which makes them not only noisy (you can hear the people above you walking around) but freezing cold in winter. They are big apartments but very draughty. Everything either breaks the moment you touch it or is broken when you move in and you WILL be charged a fortune for this.

Another bad point is that the apartments may not be renting as well as the owners would like which I understand has resulted in special deals being offered to local students. These renters I guess are the ones responsible for a lot of the litter and noise. I have seen people drinking and throwing bottles from the balconies and also apparently smoking drugs.

It makes me wonder who is making the positive comments about Bella Springs and you can draw your own conclusions about this. In contrast a lot of the negative reviews ring very true for me - in particular the rudeness and snooping, litter, noise and flimsy construction.

I love my apartment
I have been here for almost a year and I have had no problems with the staff. If I need something fixed, which is not very often, it gets done. Most people that whine about the noise need to realize that these are apartments not houses. If they don't want any noise, then they need to buy a house. I personally haven't had any problems with noise either. I will say that if you want to have a parking spot, then you need to invest in a carport or a garage.
