Liz was extremely helpful getting my family moved in. She kept me updated and contacted whenever it was necessary. Neighbors are friendly. The only thing I can say is parking is stressful you might not get a spot in front of your building.

I moved into Lakeshore at Altamonte Springs on February 1, 2025, and while my leasing experience with Liz was great, the rest of my time there was extremely disappointing. I was forced to move out on May 31st due to an ongoing roach infestation that management failed to properly address. Roaches were coming through the vents, wall sockets, and infesting the kitchen, making the apartment unlivable. Despite bringing this issue to the office multiple times, the Community Manager claimed there was nothing she could do. She claims she tried to fire Massey (the pest control company), but instead they just assigned a new technician. During one visit, the technician actually recommended I put boric acid inside the walls myself, which is completely unprofessional. The front office knew the issue was coming from my upstairs neighbors, and even admitted that my BUILDING was ONE OF THE BAD ONES. Still, I was forced to pay a two-month lease termination fee just to escape that unhealthy environment. To make matters worse, it is now July, and the process of receiving my deposit refund was just as frustrating. My final move out statement was completed on June 3rd, and I had to reach out to the front office myself on June 25th to ask about my deposit refund. The manager, Meggan, told me she would contact her Regional for approval and that I would receive an email within 5 business days to choose my refund method that email never came. When I called the office again on July 3rd, Meggan initially rushed me off the phone, saying she would follow up with accounts payable. An hour later, she called back saying accounting had JUST approved my refund and she again promised I get that refund method selection email in 5 business days. At that point, I escalated the issue to the Regional Manager, who assured me that accounting had confirmed I would receive an email to select my refund method and even provided the specific email address it would be coming from. Instead, a physical check showed up in the mail on July 15, but the check was dated for July 7th, with no notice or tracking information. So not only was communication poor, it was also inaccurate and misleading. The lack of urgency, inconsistent information, and overall dismissive attitude from the management team, especially Meggan, made an already frustrating situation even worse. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this apartment complex to anyone.

What should have been a hopeful and exciting first step into a new home turned into an emotionally and financially devastating ordeal — all due to the gross negligence, lack of transparency, and outright unethical behavior of the property management team. When I first applied, I was led to believe that Lakeshore Apartments valued customer service and tenant satisfaction. I was shown a unit, told it would be available and move-in ready by May 1st, 2025, and proceeded to complete every required step in good faith. I submitted all documentation, ensured that my funds were available, stayed in regular communication, and remained flexible and respectful throughout the process — even after being told the unit had an infestation left behind by the previous tenant. I trusted that this issue would be handled responsibly and within the promised timeframe. But it quickly became clear that this wasn’t just about a pest issue. The real issue stemmed from the fact that my unit had been under marketed — either inaccurately priced or misrepresented in condition on their website. Rather than taking accountability for their mistake, the property management team — particularly Liz and Megan — gave me vague, inconsistent explanations, delayed updates, and created unnecessary roadblocks. Their actions were misleading, manipulative, and completely lacking in transparency. Even worse, after telling me that the unit was not ready for move-in due to infestation and cleaning issues, the exact same unit was later relisted on their website as available to lease — clear proof that this situation was handled dishonestly from the start. Instead of fixing the issue and honoring the agreement, they led me and my child into housing insecurity, all to cover up their internal error. Let me be absolutely clear: Liz and Megan should not be trusted, should not be invested in, and should be removed from their positions immediately for their role in this situation. They not only failed to uphold their responsibilities, they actively contributed to the emotional and financial hardship I now face. This level of mismanagement and lack of integrity is unacceptable — no family should have to go through this. They breached the lease agreement — not me. I upheld my end in full. They manipulated the situation, violated trust, and left us without a home. That is not just unprofessional; it’s disgraceful. I have filed formal complaints and am pursuing legal action. But I am also sharing my story to protect others from falling into the same trap. To anyone considering renting at Lakeshore Apartments in Altamonte Springs: Do not. Their behavior is unethical, and the management team cannot be trusted. What happened to me is a cautionary tale, and I strongly urge others to seek housing with a company that values honesty, transparency, and basic human decency.

She's been supportive, responsive, and truly made things easier. While there were a few things like the cleaning that could've been a bit better, everything else has been smooth and I'm really happy with how things have gone.

It's been over a decade since I moved in to this apartment. For the most part I have enjoyed the years I have lived at this complex. The location is accessible to I-4, all the main roads, shopping, and restaurants. Schools are located within Seminole county, which is ranked #1 in the state of Florida and offers a wide range of school choice. Office Management is top rate and that is always appreciated.

Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and many can be seen walking their dogs. Unfortunately, I do smell cannabis often, which is not pleasant at all. Otherwise, the maintenance is fast, office staff are great, and the view of the lake is fantastic.

The leasing manager Meggan is absolutely amazing, kind, and hard working. Our apartment move in was slightly chaotic because of the hurricane but she ensured a smooth transition for us and also made sure to take all of our maintenance concerns seriously and get them taken care of promptly. This complex is older, but the staff have done a really good job of keeping the grounds clean and the apartments in great condition. Highly recommend living here.

The community is a great area to live where you can find restaurants, hospital, Publix, and the Altamonte Springs Mall in the vicinity. The management staff is very responsive to emails or any inquiries requested. It is a peaceful place where neighbors respect each other.

Moving from the hustle and bustle of the Disney tourist area, living here has been a dream! It is so quiet and so close to everything. It's as if I'm living in a big city without the crazy traffic! The 2 bedroom apartment is spatious and the dog park directly next to us is a dream for our dog. Can't recommend this place enough! Meggan at the front office has been so wonderful to work with and made our transition between homes and life here in Altamonte Springs so comfortable and worthwhile.

As for this time, I do like the place . The parking spot are limited and sometimes it's difficult to find a parking spot. It shall be great if the police surveillance could be present for preventing outsiders .

Carol the assistant manager is very helpful and will assist you with getting issues resolved. Community is nice the tennis court was supposed to be replaced and never was be careful stepping in grass to many don't clean up after their dogs but the community does offer stations to grab bags to clean up after your pet. Pool area is the best .
