Pool closes at 5:30 before you even have time to get home from work to use the pool so you're paying for these amenities and not even able to use them. They constantly have Arnolds Towing company coming around and towing peoples vehicles even vehicles of delivery drivers while they're out of their vehicle, making a delivery. I think that Ocean Walk gets a kick back on every vehicle towed there, making a fortune on the the residents, friends and towing their vehicles. It's very upsetting and stressful to constantly have to worry about your guess vehicle being towed.

Overpriced for the condition of the units and the community. I only recall one or two community events in almost a year of being here. Maintenance request are constant, sometimes never being resolved. I honestly believe that it's the fact the housing is so hard to come by out here and so many migrants and those traveling for work, that some things are put off because one can always move on to the next one. Call it pessimistic I call being observant.

Awesome friendly community, very close to both shopping areas, the beach and downtown. Great area for walking, jogging and riding bike . Kids well behaved and friendly. Nice local small shop in the area handy for forgotten items than can be picked up locally very handy for the airport.

I enjoy the pet friendly environment. I enjoy the pool, and close proximity to the beach, stores, and everything I need. Public transportation is available only a few yards from my door to anywhere in Key West.

DO NOT rent an apartment at Ocean Walk Apts. in Key West, FL

We had a miserable experience. Our building was held up by scaffolding and wood braces. Management was very slow to respond to our calls for repairs on the apartment. The swimming pool was closed half of the time for "repairs" and the complex is on the cheap side of rent in Key West, but " you get what you pay for." Friend in Key West told us to stay away from the place. We should have listened, Oh, yes, it sits right next to the airport and plane noise is very bad.

Very close to airport, so jet noise on the daily, but did get used to this after a month. Very nice apartments, responsive and helpful management. Maintenance is quick to respond to inquiries and helpful with problems. Appliances are a little outdated, electric stove should be updated in apartments. Overall a pleasant place to live.

Having relocated from out of state I was quite nervous about the big move, but ocean walk has taken such great care of us! It is not lost on either myself or my husband of how fortunate we are to have such an amazing management team. Oceanwalk pros. Very storm worthy, good location, close to shops, relatively up to date accommodations, nice pool, large patios. Oceanwalk cons. No in-unit laundry (there are two on-site laundromats). Rent is absurd, nickel and dime type of deal, the usual corporate lease. Consequently, the community feels like a massive rooming arrangement from all the people shacking up together. It's next to the airport, which could be agitating or convenient depending on the person. At any rate, it's much less noise than living anywhere near Key West Naval Air Station, guaranteed. Pro Tip: Get someone else to pay your rent here and you'll be balling out of control.

This apartment is the worse thing that has ever happened to me. I've had a crack in the wall for 3 months now and they keep saying it's going to be fixed when they haven't even made plans or communicated plans to actually fix it.

Just Don’t!!!

Elevators are broken frequently. Good luck if you live on a top floor. It took approximately one month to restore elevator service. Now they are out again. Makes a challenge for grocery shopping. I have a crumbling concrete parking bumper which I’ve asked to be replaced for two years now. Some neighbors are not always courteous regarding noise levels. Recently I was notified that my rent is being increased by $440 per month. ??

The Corridors should be properly cleaned and it would enhance the aesthetics. owners need to clean up after their dogs. A CCTV system for the entire complex would be useful. The garbage system is also untidy and more could be done in educating the residents and insisting on better disposal actions. lese consider moving away derelict equipment and vehicles/cycles as they also create an eyesore. The Complex should encourage the formation of a community group to help each other to clean up some areas and beautifying common areas with the approval of the owners. This could create an air of community spirit.

staff is exceptional and do the best they can. Not much they can do about how disgusting some of the other residents are...part of apartment living I guess. The renovation was done quickly and not up to the price asked for but not much can be done about that now.

Ocean walk is in a great location! I love how close to work it is for me. The 1 bed/1 bath was perfect for me. Very spacious. All of the staff have been super nice, helpful when needed and attentive regarding any work orders.

Great location, close to airport. A/C works. Trash gets picked up daily. Never had any issue with neighbors. Hallways leading up to apartment are always spotless. No issue with site cleanliness or looks.

The maintenance guy blatantly disregarded our request for pest control by selecting that is was completed in the online portal without reaching out to discuss the situation at all. They forgot to turn on the hot water after they replaced the tubs before we moved in, and the A/C filter is filthy from the recent paint job. Other than that the place is great.

So far so good. Meets expectations. It is a very eclectic mix of people who live in the community, most are very pleasant and polite.The management staff seem to handle thier business, and seem attentive to issues of quality if living experience in the community and uphold the rules that others may be complacent of.. We intend to stay and jeep our lease at its current terms while are doing business in Key West.

My mother always said if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. There is a reason this is a starting point for people who move to Key West then get out as soon as possible. We plan to leave as soon as our lease is up.

I felt as if I was chasing down the leasing office for updates on my application status. The communication was rough, not all information was disclosed on what they needed to have the application paperwork completed. I had to go back and forth multiple times to get everything collected for approval, while it could have been more clear from the beginning. There has been a large pile of discarded furniture mattresses household items and trash just sitting on the curb for over a week. It's an eye sore that has not yet been resolved. The units are nicely updated and spacious. The grounds and common areas need serious attention and a proper cleaning.

Overall not bad, some things could be better maintained - ie elevators not all working, have to use others not close to the apartment. The bathroom fan was very loud and not vented out. So it's basically load and useless. Sara from the leasing office is very nice.

One elevator is always out of order in our four story building ! Plus, the one elevator that works is also used by people moving in or out and this process can hold up the elevator for the rest of us.

Not a good move in experience to start. Issues with AC and bugs to start. Hopefully everything is resolved as I do love layout of apartment and the view. The system for trash is very easy but they should allow for recycling.

There's an amazing staff here, great pool always kept up and clean. Management is very understanding when people have hardtimes like when you're late on rent a few day, yes there's a fee but it's understandable!
