I have been living in Lake Carlton Arms since August 2014. I love the way they treated me and their quick response for any maintenance request. The new system recently used allow me to pay rent online and submit all maintenance request via the portal. I recommend LCA for their great service!

The grounds are well maintained, the staff is friendly and vendors are respectful. Office staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are always responded to in a timely manner and kept informed if any delays.

I'm a new tenant and I love this place. Very clean and safe. The landscaping is always well kept. Lots of recreational activities to do. The staff are very nice and professional. This is truly paradise! It's located right off of the veterans expressway so my commute to work is a breeze!!

LCA is a beautiful complex to live in. It's quiet, the office is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are always orderly and clean. The school district is amazing, my sons grades did a complete 180 after starting at Schwarzkopf. Some things that were included when we started living here have been removed - like regularly scheduled bug sprays - but others have been added, like internet included in rent and more frequent trash pick ups. Overall it's a wonderful place to live and we have no plans to leave until we're able to buy a home.

When we first moved in the value was great. They included basic cable with the each apartment, trash was picked up every day. The owners changed property management company and the rent increase by over $125 a month, trash is now picked up only 2 days a week they "estimate your water usage and charge you for sewer. which costs another $70 a month. Oh and by they way they do not include basic cable anymore. All this with in 2 years. My wife and I have just purchased a home and the Mortgage is $300 less than the rent. If I'm going to pay for water sewer and trash I might as well own my property and get the tax wright off.

It was a really great experience! Pamela Miles was really nice and adequately answered all my questions to the best of her abilities while actively showing me all the community's amenities. The community was well kept and in a great location, secluded from the rest of the bustle of the city.

If you're looking for excellent maintenance service with fast, professional response, this is the place for you. If you're looking for pricing that is predictable and over which you have some control, keep looking. You have to split the water/sewer bill with your neighbors and have no control over their use. In order to recycle, you have to take everything but cardboard to the county where they argue with you about the complex's requirement to provide documentation beyond your utilities bills.

I really love these apartments. I feel safe in the community. The keep up the grounds are beautifully kept. The staff are wonderful in all departments. Everyone is very in all departments. I love this place.

When I first moved in LCA about 10 years ago, it was wonderful. The front office was pleasant, kind and really went out of their way to assist its tenants. The quality of life was excellent. You knew what you were paying each month, the services were unmatched and then 2-3 years ago, everything changed and the quality of living out here has deteriorated. Eg: I had pipe to burst and water coming from the hallway walls - I immediately called the front office for help - for them to tell me to go on-line and put in a service request. I was livid. Here I am trying to stop my apartment from overflowing they wanted me to go online and fill out a form. They care now more about numbers rather then people or tenants. I have a rusted tub, outdated appliances, original faucets, leaking air conditioner upstairs where I have to change out the bucket twice a day. We use to get free water/sewage (great service). Now we pay for it with a new company and service is horrible. I would have paid for the good service. It made no sense to downgrade and make tenants pay for bad service. This is not a good place to live like before.

Just moved in will give me comments later. Over all good ,from my home to main gate takes 5 mins will be great if there is a way to reduce . Many speed brake also possible to increase min speed from 15 to 20 m Considering all the road safety.

Great community. Location is ideal. Quiet area. Maintenance is great. It is an older complex, yet very well maintained. I plan to stay here until my next major move (I.e. job move, house, etc.). Definitely a great value for the rent I pay.

We are very happy at Lake Carlton Arms. Maintenance needs are completed quickly by competent staff. Office staff very accommodating. The availability of guest apartments is also a huge plus. Units are well built, quiet and grounds are maintained beautifully.

It's a great Community, quiet with well kept grounds. There are a lot of amenities with friendly Staff making LCA a comfortable place to live. The area has opportunities for many outdoor activities, such as, canoeing, nature hiking or just enjoying the well kept swimming pools.

It is a wonderful community. The property is clean and beautiful. We enjoy our apartment location by the lake! Also very quiet, we rarely hear our neighbors! We love the privacy. We have a lot of room on our patio, and the closet space is amazing!
