By far, Mira Flores has been the worst living experience we have ever had in a rental community. The office staff is unprofessional and shows absolutely no real concern for you and/or your issues. It's not uncommon to hear "that's not considered an emergency", or if you have a noise complaint, you will most likely hear, "call the police". Not a good community to live in - the problem is, every resident that I ever met and spoke to, has the same complaints. Do something to improve, otherwise, stop asking for reviews and surveys.

When we first moved in, our washer was broken, the garbage disposal was smoking, a closet door fell off when trying to close it and our patio light does not turn on and still doesn't turn on even after maintenance has come to look at it saying that they will be back and never came back. Also there are no parking spaces!

Love living here!

My boyfriend & I have lived here 6 months and absolutely love this community. The maintenance staff is quick to respond. Karen, in the office made moving in a breeze. The amenities are great. We couldn't be happier!

Pros = Very pretty neighborhood, maintenance is pretty quick and friendly. Convenient location and it’s very quiet here. Cons = One of the pools is frequently dirty and no one picks up after their pets.

Thoroughly disappointed in Mira Flores and the lack of upkeep and quality of product. The unit they first tried to move me into was awful, run down, and disguising which did not set a good tone for the rest of my stay. I've lived here due to the convenient location and proximity to work and family. Most neighbors are nice, office staff is subpar, some extremely rude, and maintenance, quite useless. I've had leaks in my roof since I've moved in, AC issues from the beginning and they offer nothing but mediocre and TEMPORARY solutions to problems that have only become worse. The office staff doesn't seem to have any idea what is actually getting "done" outside the office because no one seems to care. It's so unfortunate. I did enjoy living here *at first* but that feeling quickly faded.

Good community to live in. Great place to walk my dog. Was quiet with good neighbors. Staff was friendly but not the most responsive, maitnance was not available on weekends which was an issue when I had no AC.

Overall I would say that living here has been OK. Location of the complex plays a roll and It's a quiet community which is nice. That said the maintenence team here can be an issue. Tickets get closed before someone comes to so the repair and often a 2nd ticket needs to be created. Recently we submitted a ticket and when didn't see anyone for several days we called the office and someone from maintenance said there was no open ticket associated with our apartment. .Lastly for now we've had an A/C issue for several years and I'm tired of having to turn the A/C off and let it defrost and then turn it back on. It's become a nuisance!!!!!!

Most of the grounds are beautifully maintained. Area around the second pool is not as well kept. Shedding trees create more frequent clean up that doesn’t get done very often. Area next to “lake” in front of pool has piles of sticks that need removal but very grateful at least removed from water. That is why I gave 3 stars. The branches came down over a month ago. My second request from removal from water did get done- but branches still there

The community is nice but to much work needs to be done in the apartments. everything was just flash painted. The patio floor and rails need painting. the steps and corridor needs to be cleaned. Maintenance had to be call multiple time to fix the same problem. The list goes on.

It's a great place to live, close to everything, some are even in walking distance. It has a natural setting with Florida wildlife aplenty. However, find out what the future is for this development because it may be torn down next year.

Very friendly staff who have checked in often and wanted us to enjoy it/feel at home. Lovely grounds for walking and seeing birds without it feeling like a swamp. Maintenance team have been responsive and very friendly.

Unexpected and sad

We’ve been living here a total of 4 days. Our AC has already gone out. It’s 9 at night. We have an 8 month old and a 3 year old. Their staff has advised us that they won’t be coming to resolve this for at least 48 hours as the outside temperature isn’t scheduled to exceed 80 degrees within that time and therefore they aren’t required by law to repair it. We have in laws that live below us that have been here a month longer than us. They’ve had this happen 4 times already. This place is money hungry and doesn’t care about you or your kids. Don’t come here. We’re looking to leave.

Not the best experience from the first day. We moved to an apartment that wasn't ready. Not clean. Not internet outlets and not help from managers. After that we found a lot of inconvenientes situations in compare with the last community we lived in.

Great community for first time renters and for small single families. Very dog friendly which we personally really appreciate and it’s a very safe neighborhood. We’ve enjoyed living here for the last several years. There will always be a few bumps here and there, but overall a great little community.

Fantastic rental staff, property, grounds care and facilities. Maintenance requests is only aspect that could use improvement. If you are willing to replace and fix some minor aspects of the apartment than Mira flores is great.

We are having reoccurring problems with AC and sink leaking. Why can the management looking into the root cause of the problems and try to fix it so it won’t happen again ? Why are we requesting maintenance and then things broke down again in 3-4 months ?

Terrible noise level and manager

Besides the maintenance staff and the kitchen, there is nothing else glamorous about Mira Flores. I shouldn’t be able to hear my upstairs neighbor vacuum, flush, and constant door slamming within their unit, not to mention when they walk I can feel the walls vibrate! They’re so vile and disgusting, they threw dog piss water down onto my patio, and management didn’t even acknowledge the email we sent. The unit itself is not as expected in photos. Superficial renovations and wanting top dollar rent comparable to brand new luxury apartments. The kitchen is the only highlight. The AC only blasts in the living room, guest bedroom does not have lights. We got a newly “renovated” unit. Save yourself the time and money, rent somewhere else!

I'm overall satisfied with living in Mira Flores. I think rents are a bit high for living here 8 years and being a Veteran of multiple tours of duty. The grounds are not kept up like they used to be. But location is good.

I like the layout of the apartment, lots of storage and space. The kitchen is pretty small, but the bedrooms are fairly spacious. It's nice to be on the ground floor or just up one flight of stairs and no elevators to climb.

The surrounding area is awesome and seems to be totally crime-free, and the buildings look very nice. Rent increase was 24% for us this year, and we have had a relatively poor experience with the maintenance staff for issues like A/C, and Smoke Detector repair/replacement due to their lack of knowledge or Florida Building Code and best practices in my opinion.
