Avalon Apartments is a fantastic place to live! From the moment I filled out the application, to the move in process, and during my time living there. Rhelinda was one of the most helpful property managers I've dealt with during any rental process. Anytime I had a request she and her team respond quickly and follow up to make sure I am satisfied. I can't thank Rhelinda and her team enough for being so accommodating and professional. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to rent.

I very much enjoy the convenience to 1-10 which takes you pretty much transits me to many of my frequent locations in a short amount of time. Gorgeous grounds, large bedrooms and massive bathrooms....especially for apartment living. My kitchen here has a sleek style and very functional for cooking, which I like to do. If you stop by the office then see Cody. He took great care of me from start to finish. Avalon Apartments is where it's at! Full access Gym, large resort style pool and gorgeous clubhouse. I've lived in many apartments throughout my life, but this is #1 hands down.

Avalon was a fantastic place to live! The management is extremely friendly and helpful. Very clean complex and beautiful, renovated apartments. The pool/grill area is a lovely place to spend a hot summer day and the gym is always welcoming with a brisk AC and clean equipment. The dog park is a decent size to bring your pups and always friendly owners out there to talk to. There are a lot of law enforcement officers living on the grounds in various buildings all over. Definitely made me feel a lot safer. I never had a problem with anything living here. Great location right off the interstate so you can get anywhere fast. When you need a maintenance guy to come over, he is usually there the day you put in a request. The community is a mix of hard working adults and older, retired people. Nice and quiet. I've only ever seen a couple kids and they might have been grandchildren visiting their grandparents. Overall, the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! Make Avalon your next home!

I've lived here for almost two years .Apartments are nice and updated. Management is VERY professional, and helpful. Staff is great. Avalon is convenient and a great place to live. Avalon is a safe area to live and has a great pool, workout and community clubhouse.

I have lived at Avalon for 2 years, and I love it. The staff is EXTREMELY nice, and helpful. The grounds are well kept. Any time I had any issue, it would be taken care of write away. They are always trying to do events for their residents. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great apartment community to stop by and look at Avalon. CW

I lived in Avalon apartments for a year and I have to say that it was a good experience. The pool was awesome and I really enjoyed the fitness and clubhouse area. The staff in the office were always professional and helpful. It always felt like home.

I've lived in quite a few apartments as my husband is in the federal government and we bounce around quite a bit. I was only in Pensacola for about 6 months from March-August 2015. With the lack of gainful employment, I had a lot of time to spend at home, in this particular apartment complex. Parts of the apartment complex were great, others...not so much. The first thing was that Avalon is a gated community. But only sometimes, when they feel like it. Like most gated communities, the main gate is open during morning and evening rush hour; which I think is an excellent idea. But, then sometimes the timer wasn't completely working and the gate wouldn't close for the rest of the day. That was in the beginning of March/April. Then, in July, the box to add in your code was hit and was dangling by the wires for 3 days while the gate was left open. Other times, the gate is propped open by a cement block. I'm not sure what that's about, or why you would even have a gate if it's left open all the time. Like most apartment complexes; most of the staff are inept at the job. I ordered something online.The tracking showed that it was delivered. I checked the mailbox and had nothing. So I went into the office and they informed me they didn't have any package for me. I checked my mailbox the next day (I wasn't sure how big the box was!) and the following day, and on the 3rd day I had my husband ask the office to check for a package. Again, no package. Fast forward close to 2 months and I had another package delivered. I called and asked if I had something in the office, and I did! Yay! When I go pick it up, I was given 2 packages, the new and the old one (that stood 2FT off the ground) that I was looking for 2 months ago! Looking at the shipping label, I saw that it did indeed have my full name and my apartment number. I simply asked the question why I didn't receive it sooner and the answer was "We mislabeled it." Here I had been blaming the USPS. With such a large box that sat for 2 months, wouldn't someone in the staff take the initiative to contact me? But no, everyone in the office did the bare minimum. That's probably why the staff is never consistent other than the Assistant Manager. It's a revolving door of new staff constantly. The only saving grace regarding the staff is the main maintenance guy. Not sure his name, but he had to come in in the beginning of my lease to fix my oven as it kept tripping the breaker. Then, a few months later we had a giant wasp nest on our balcony and he came by and knocked it down. Afterwards he said he was allergic so I really appreciated it that he took the time and effort to knock it down! The actual apartment was okay. Lots of space and wide hallways so you can move furniture and a screened in patio. As I was out of state trying to secure the apartment, I did a lot over the phone/email. I asked if it was new carpet and I received an enthusiastic "Yes!" Much to my surprise when I moved in and it was not. They charge you $40 for a washer/dryer each month. I guess that's normal for that area. I spent a lot of time in the gym. For how small it is, there's a lot of equipment and free weights and a squat machine. The pool was usually clean during the week, but not during the weekend. Lots of leaves, but really...there are a bunch of trees above the pool..so I get it. There's also a basketball court that seemed like it was used a lot and a playground for little kids, that wasn't used often. There was a car wash bay that we tried twice in the spring and both times it was broken. After we left, it was like pulling teeth to get a final account balance and final water bill. After consistently calling the Assistant Manager (almost daily) and having multiple conversations that ended in "I'll get it to you soon!" in a irritated sing song voice. She finally emailed back after a week. Which I find funny because I WANT to pay you, just give me a final account balance. No stupid fees like cleaning that most apartments like to tack on (a license to steal if you ask me!) So that was a *good* surprise. I will say and that it's not the apartments fault, the left turn out of the complex to get onto the interstate is a complete nightmare. The interstate is a quarter mile away and it would take 10 minutes to be able to turn left and finally get on the interstate. Horrible.

My husband and I were completely satisfied with all aspects of Avalon Apartments. From the safety, to the surrounding stores & location, to the staff. We loved that it was quiet and felt like it was an actual home, not just an apartment. The kitchen had to be my favorite part of our unit. We also had an office room in our unit (which was actually used for an air mattress when people visited), which most other apartments don't offer! Every time we had an issue with something in the unit or had an issue with rent the office staff was awesome and always handled our questions efficiently. We would definitely recommend Avalon to anyone who is looking in the Pensacola area!

I moved here during the time my house was being built. I only looked here when leasing as it was where I wanted to live. I found staff including maintenance to be very helpful and friendly. The only challenge for me personally was I've lived in a house that I owned for 30 years (not the same one). It is so convenient for me and my area that I like to live. Come see Avalon you won't regret it.

The outside lights should be maintained a little better. The noise level is much better since the motorcycle does not rev up at 9pm. I would recommend this property to a friend. The basketball court itself is a little odd but useable. thanks AJ

Very nice apartment homes. Excellent staff. Maintenance staff is very polite and gets requests done quickly. Great pool and gym facilities. Dog park is wonderful and big enough for dogs to run and play. For the most part it's a quiet community except for loud neighbors above us.

Office staff was pleasant at my initial lease signing... After that,any time I talked to them, they were rude, unprofessional, and unapologetic for any issues. I can understand if an issue can't be fixed...but at least be sympathetic or helpful, not rude and uppity.

I do like most things about Avalon, but some issues do persist. The maintenance is sub-par and is mostly due to one worker in particular. The grounds are very nice, but unfortunately residents do not pick up after their dogs, which ultimately looks bad on Avalon, although it is not entirely their fault. Overall, nice apartments, but the communitty could be cleaner and better taken care of.

Mostly good experience, except ongoing problem with dishwasher. Dishwasher has been replaced, but new model is cheap, doesn't dry the dishes and doesn't clean very well at all. I think they should replace the dishwasher with a different model

More importantly, they showed me around and were willing to discuss a deal the same day! Some places wouldn't even return my calls! I highly recommend this people and pet friendly community. The avalon apartments are pretty Cool. The amenities are great but be weary of the third floor if you are a non smoker. The smoke combed straight through the flooring and will bombard your house if you open the door. Office and maintenance :) are awesome and on top of any complaints.
