Run. Run for your life.
This place is a slumlord nightmare. My friend just left; they had a bedbug issue that they ignored for months. Their corporate people? A joke. They don’t care as long as they’re making money; they will bamboozle you out of every dime you have and smile as they do it. The place is festering in mold and the cockroaches? Out or control. I live in a place; comparable rent and it’s brand new and I’m not sharing my bed with insects. Run. Just run and don’t look back.

serene nice safe living
The staff, especially Maria is excellent, proficient, professional, and courteous!!!! I give Timberlake a 5 star because of the staff as aforementioned; and, because of the wonderful floor plans, the grounds are so beautiful. It is very quiet, serene nice safe living. I could not ask for a better home. Thank you, Timberlake staff for all you do to make my home perfect!!!!

greatest landlord
My parents lived in Timberlake for 4 years. Maria is the greatest landlord I've ever worked with. She was responsive, quick to fix any issues, went above and beyond on solutions and was always lovely to deal with. I never had a problem that she took more than 24 to address (usually it was way way less!). I have sent a number of friends to live at Timberlake and everyone has been as satisfied as I was. I can't say enough good things about living at Timberlake

I have just arrived at Timberlake Apartment but my experience has been pleasant from the first moment. Since I approached to find out about the availabilities I was received by the person in charge of making my experience unique, Maria. Her respect, kindness, and professionalism made me feel at home. The rental process was super fast and Maira was available at all times in order to help me. Thanks to Maria !!!

Unfortunately I have not great things to say as to how you get treated with management “Theresa”. In situations that matter the staff nor corporate bend there rules in time of need. I was told she did not recall a conversation about not charging a $75 fee to security deposit since I cleaned the apartment myself. She then told staff she never said that, she lied!!! The rugs don’t even need to be cleaned, that’s how clean the apartment is. My mom had a cleaning service there, was nothing for them to clean nor charge for. I then called to explain and confirm the fee would not be deducted, she said she did like my tone and that she didn’t want me to ruin her day. In the end, the company gets more of my moms money! A penalty was paid in addition for early out and they have the apartment rented 9 days later. They already got the $75 in the penalty. They could care less she is in Long Term Care and only want more money from someone who can’t afford it!!!! My mom had to get out due to hear health and go to a nursing home not move somewhere else. This is an extenuating situation which should have been considered and was not!!!

RUN AWAY!! Two days before move in, stopped by to see how place was coming along. They left door wide open so popped head in and saw it was a completely mold infested mess, walls, ceilings, etc. No way it would have been ready for move in unless the answer was to just wipe away mold and actually expose a human being to it. Next, went to manager to inquire. She was mad I looked at the place before move in! Really! Had no where else to go at this point so agreed to another unit for 200 more/per month. Stressed it had to have hard floors and she said it did. Move in day, carpet floors. Stuck with no where else to live. Pointed out things that needed to be fixed and it took about 6 months to get it fixed. Meanwhile, my neighbor had raw garbage strewn throughout their apartment and even threw garbage out side the doors. Yes because she clearly had a mental health issue. Police were called to the apartment on a weekly basis because she called them because she was mental. We complained and they never cared to evict this neighbor. That neighbors apartment was filled with fleas that made it over to our place as well. Complained and again nothing done. It smelled like a dumpster everytime I went up the walk to my apartment because of the garbage. Then, the A/C leaked and mold developed in the walls and carpet that adjoined the AC unit. This ruined the things I had stored in there under the bed. I only noticed when my door was so swollen with water it would not close correctly. They took forever to fix this problem which was caused by lack of maintenance on their part. Also, the maintenance people, especially the woman, act like you were a pain in their a__ when they came to fix something. To be fair there was one nice man. (don't know his name) CHERRY ON TOP!! Finished the lease and ran away to a much nicer place for less money. They kept my security deposit and that pissed me off but I was just so grateful to get out I wrote it off as lesson learned. Moved out in August 2020. Just received a letter from a collection agency saying I owed 372.00 more for repairs. I never was told anything about this from management and have no idea what they are talking about. Unbelievable!!!!!

I have recently had the worst experience. I am not one to write a negative review or pursue corporate, but I chose to because if I can save just one person from having to go through what I did it is worth it. When I first met Theresa she was friendly but she quickly showed my mom and I her true unprofessional, rude, nasty colors. She originally said I was approved but then she quickly told me I wasn't because I didn't financially qualify. This was before she even saw my paystubs so at this point. She hadn't even seen if I'd made my commission and how much. I sent her proof of my bank account where I clearly did make 3 times the rent but she said I didn't financially qualify. And she also said we would not be refunded any of the $175 we paid. I was shocked and so confused, so on my day off on Saturday my mom and I came in the office to discuss things further and get our refund. We spoke with Maria and she was professional and respectful. She said would you still like to consider living here and I said at the moment I'm just not sure anymore after the way I've been treated by your property manager Theresa, I'm hesitant now. And she called Theresa and she said no I didn't financially qualify and no we can not be refunded. So I spoke up politely but firmly because I was rightfully upset and she said my mom and I were aggressive and we needed to leave immediately. And that now we would not qualify because our character was questionable.I'm so glad they had a camera so that when I contact corporate they will see I was calm and respectful. My character was not questionable as they want to say. And my mom was quiet the entire time and when she said we needed to leave, she immediately got up and left. I followed her after I told Maria thank you for being professional and sweet , but I would have to go to corporate now because I didn't get my refund I was told was guaranteed. I called corporate and left a message about things and Maria called me back soon after to reassure me that in two weeks I'd receive my refund. I have never been so hurt and confused by someone in my entire life as I did that day in that office and that was all over just a phone. I received my refund two weeks later along with an approval rental letter. I called TimberLake back and was hoping to talk to Maria but decided to go ahead and talk to Theresa once more. She sounded very friendly and told me Happy New Year and so I was friendly back. She said the letter meant that I was approved based on my credit but I'm not approved financially. I said I would like to show proof of my paystubs, of my commission and I do make enough. She said you're still looking for a place? I said I thought the location was beautiful and I might still be interested. She then said well you don't qualify financially and even if you did, you will not be allowed to rent here as you and your mom were mean to my staff. I defended my mom as well as myself one last time and then quickly got off the phone as I despise confrontation of any kind. I was so hurt and confused once more. Most unprofessional person I've ever met and I hope she changes for every other person's sake. Be wary of this property manager.

A ring was stolen and I discussed with the manager. She told me to prove it. I asked her to review the service request and notice no one but maintenance has been inside. Last month the landscaping blew mud and debris on my white vehicle and again she said no proof. I sent pictures and no response other than the owner of landscape company said to call.

It's a nice facility but the maintenance team is horrible. I had to call a locksmith who drilled into my lock after I went to the leasing office and the staff wouldn't unlock the door because they were on their lunch break. I them submitted two service requests for a new door lock over a month and it took me complaining to the manager to be able to lock my apartment. I currently have a pluming issue that makes impossible to use my kitchen sink or dishwasher. It's been almost two moths and there has been no response. Nice facility, atrocious service. If I hadn't signed a long term contract I would be gone by now.

I told myself I'd allow the following staff to take care of all the issues I had from day one if moving in. I've been patient enough to wait 7 months on writing this review. Ceiling has fallen in twice, management overlooks service calls, hot water heater fails continuously, and the people they hired for the renovations have done a 3/10 job. Save your money and keep looking for other options to live.

Thanking god as our lease comes to an end in this horrific place. From trash everywhere, broken pools, broken fences, broken hot tub, junk in the water coming out of the pipes, unpainted walls, paint chipping off the doors and walls, screws everywhere, broken water heater, CAR WAS HIT and they of course ran, OVER A WEEK WITH BROKEN AIR CONDITIONER (STILL BROKEN), to staff who doesn't give a flying f. I should've known not to move here when the first day we looked around and the leasing agent backed tommy and i up in the golf kart into a residents car. I would NEVER ever suggest this place. They try to come off very friendly and welcoming but the staff is useless and this place is falling apart. They've never have been able to keep management or staff in the year I've lived here. Apparently they've never really have per my neighbors. For the amount of money we pay for this little of space is INSANE. I haven't talked to one person who was satisfied with living here. FEW MORE WEEKS! Been counting down for the last 8 months ?? A friend has had it WAY worse.. We were the lucky ones! She has no ceiling fan (fell from ceiling) MOLD No cover to her a/c vent after they "fixed" it Went MONTHS with out A/C (luckily in winter) And more.

I moved in December 2017. In the summer of 2018 my AC was failing. So they just replaced it with a new AC unit. They did so very quickly and very efficient. We had a very lazy maintenance man who took his time before we have this new one who is on top of everything and is truly a blessing to this community. We have no complaints of living here and We hope to live here for many more years to come. We feel safe and loved by the staff. Great job guys thank you so much for everything!

Words cannot Express the grief this place has caused me. My grievances are too numerous to mention. Property manager Linda, who seems to only make occasional visits to property would not let me out of my lease when my health suffered due to mold infestation. I'm still unsure the long term effects of this on my or my pets health. I wish I had followed up with a lawsuit. Apparently her bottom line and keeping these units full was more important than human concern or decency. This issue hits very close to home as I lost one of my closest friends, she died after having a double lung transplant and was living in a home with mold infestation. Myself and my pets are normally healthy, we've had numerous respiratory issues living here. Linda only returned my calls when I mentioned I spoke to a lawyer. I contacted the VP of the company in Texas and he said Linda would follow up with me. I never heard from her. She washed her hands clean of me as soon as her one star mold company said the air test was clean. It may have cleared in the one month plus lag time it took her to address it properly, while maintenance offered cosmetic repairs only and repeatedly said it's not mold, its mildew. The mold inspector confirmed it was mold. In the meantime I did the bleaching and cleaning of the walls. Residents are suddenly being charged for water and sewer when original lease terms had this included. Is this even legally allowed, changing lease terms mid lease like that? I'm also wondering why so much money is going into gazebos and cosmetic repairs when AC's break on an average monthly basis, leaks are prevalent and the interiors of these units are in disarray. My AC broke 5 times in 9 months. I have large water stains on my ceiling and closet. Cockroaches entered when maintenance put a dirty piece of drywall back in the wall leaving holes. Paying this much and not being able to use pool or workout room due to repairs, cigarette butts in pool or animal feces, isn't fair. These facilities seem to have been closed or too filthy more often than open since I've been living here. My neighbor was told we couldn't even have a light bulb to light entrance at night, as they are on back order. Yet all these gazebos keep going up. Why does it take 20 minutes for your credit card to read at washers and dryers? Its easier to go to a laundromat. I noticed the office staff turned over or quit (I don't know) again, 3rd time in a year. They've never been the problem. Hopefully someday the root of the problem will be addressed and all this frivolous spending that keeps light bulbs on back order will be addressed. My vehicle was keyed while living here. In my opinion this place needs to be shut down or upper management needs some serious work and a little compassion. I cannot wait to leave here. I was offered no compensation for my troubles and I know other neighbors have been offered financial assistance for issues.

I recently moved in and so far have had a great experience! Brad and Alexis were great at getting us in and getting us settled. Maintenance came pretty fast to fix some simple issues. The parking situation can be a little difficult at night, but that is expected at all complexes. The apartment is pretty spacious and updated. No complaints.

These apartments are run down. They charge the "market rate" that is way too high but the apartments are not well kept. Watch out for all of the spiders, because my apartment was infested with them. The paint inside the apartment is outdoor paint and creates an odor. They do not do any preventive maintenance anywhere. The landscaping is ok. Nothing impressive. Be ready for your A/C to go out. While the maintenance will fix it quickly, it will not stay fixed. Prepare to have to call them at least once a month to fix it. We are in Florida an A/C is a requirement. That all being said at least the staff is nice to your face. They smile and things are sometimes taken care of within 3-4 days. If you make an inquiry they dont want to deal with they will ignore you though. Btw, when you renew a lease the rent goes up 25%. Find somewhere else to live. Don't put yourself through this crap.

This complex fosters a safe community with a reasonable cost for living. Jenny and Jamie was extremely helpful. I am looking for a one bedroom , I was shown the model and then taken around the property to see locations in the complex that would be available for me to rent. The staff was very professional and I am considering renting at this property. Timberlake apartments seems like a great place to live.

The staff that work at this place are phenomenal! When I first called and explained to them that I could stay only for the summer, they had no issues accepting me and providing with all important information! They were really respectful and quick on processing most of my paperwork! There is a lot of space in the apartment. The neighborhood is truly quiet. I have met some of the nicest people around the area! Overall, I am truly delighted to have chosen this place. It's close to most of the things I need!

Jenny was great from the start & helped me get into a nice apartment. Whenever she seeked help it was greatly received from her superior Jamie. With an awesome team like this I would greatly recommend renting an apartment in this community. This staff is by far one of the best I've ever worked with! Great reflection of Management.

The price is great for the location and my dog knows she can always expect to get a treat when we visit the office. I do wish we had a washer and dryer in the apartment but there are laundry centers in the neighborhood and they are always kept clean. Staff always greets us with a warm welcome whether it's around the community or in the office.

I've lived here from 1999 and it is going down hill daily. Rent went up over 100.00 a month and nothing has changed. Property a mess and office does nothing to take of it. Corporate probably has NO clue. I don't fell welcomed when I walk into the office any more either.
