Management is very professional and if there are any issues with the unit, its handled accurately and within a timely manner. It's a GREAT place to live! I don't understand why anyone would complain about this community. I have lived here for several years and would recommend to everyone I know. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful. Always taking care of your needs. This is the place you would love to live.

A beautiful slice of PARADISE!!! I've lived at Timberlake for over 5 years now and what a nice community this is. I've had a couple of small maintenance issues that could happen anywhere and the professional maintenance team came and resolved the problem immediately. My home is where my heart is and my heart is here. The leasing office is filled with a wonderful staff who have become like family to me. My neighbors are so friendly and clean. I've had an occasional lizard invite themselves in but never had a pest problem. My apartment is beautiful and the view is even better. The grounds are very well kept and they seem to always be improving something here. I've been in a lot of other communities here in Sarasota, either living or visiting family and friends and they just do not compare to my community. The pool is always clean and inviting with a beautiful deck and excellent amenities such as the gym and laundry facilities. I've actually referred several friends who have moved here to Timberlake and we are all happy. We are in a wonderful location especially with the new UTC mall and tons of restaurants nearby. The school district is absolutely amazing, one of the best in Manatee county. Timberlake is definitely a place to be proud about living. We love it here!

********************Do Not Live here**************** This place is by FAR the most disgusting place I have ever lived in there is mold the wood is all rotted--and my husband and I had to purchase an air filter to sleep at night!!!!!!!!!!! We were always sick--- The office staff was horrible very very unprofessional very rude, I could not wait until our lease was up!! This place was a nightmare to live in the living space was a hole in the wall the rent was unreasonable- overpriced I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to live here -- The appliances are almost 30 years old our electric bill was always high because of how old the air conditioner was-- The stove never worked right took over half hour for it to work and the dishwasher constantly filled up with a foot of water and the refrigerator was always leaking I had brought this up with the manager ---- numerous times always got a bad attitude they didn't replace until 6 months later! WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we moved out-- they deiced not to give us back our deposit I left the apartment spotless in fact i took photos of how I left the place and they still want to keep the deposit-- they must really be hurting for money! THEY MUST BE HURTING FOR MONEY its taking them 30 years to replace appliances??!!! Do not I repeat Do not go there way to many problems oh and the place always is infested with bugs cockroaches and millions of ants! They say the do pest control but that is not true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! save yourself the trouble buy a house invest your money DO NOT WASTE it RENTING out this DUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lived at Timberlake for a few years now and I love it! My neighbors are awesome and are always there to lend a helping hand or at the very least a pleasant smile. I had heard that Florida could be a very rude place, but not here. Even when I walk into the office the lovely ladies there greet me by name and handle any of the issues that I have efficiently. Jamie is a real pleasure to work with. The maintenance crew does a great job, especially a gentleman named Steve. The location is perfect. I am just down the street from my job and there are so many yummy restaurants to choose from.se Please try Carrabba's!! The landscaping is awesome, it reminds me a little bit of home. With Florida flare of course! The only complaint I have is I wish they would paint and starting sprucing up the place a little bit. I have noticed all the neighboring communities starting to do this. ~Country girl loves the beach

It has been a great experience living at Timberlake. My husband and I were always treated so good by the office staff. Whenever we told them about a problem in our apartment the maintenance guys came that day. If you are looking for an apartment complex to live at, I highly recommend Timberlake Apartments

Timberlake is my fourth apartment home and I must say it is the worst I have ever lived in. The staff told us we would have "Upgraded" counter tops and cabinets. When I moved in the cabinets were no upgraded and the counter tops were painted an ugly black shellac that is gritty and has chipped of with in usage. The new place I am moving to has upgraded counter tops and they are MARBLE! Not black paint. Also the place smelt like mold, the cabinets are falling off the hinges and the paint was falling of the already cracked door frames. For a 600 Square foot apartment charging $900 a month you would think they would put a little effort into fixing the place up.

I have lived in Timberlake for over 2 years and plan on staying for many years to come. It is conveniently located near anything you may need. It is also a pleasant surprise how quiet the neighborhood is. My neighbors are some of the most amazing people I have ever met and crime here is nonexistent. My apartment is spacious yet cozy. The balcony view overlooking the pond and fountain is the best way to start your day. It is also very fairly priced compared to neighboring communities. The best feature however is the talented, accommodating and friendly office staff who routinely goes out of their way to ensure that my needs are met. I am very happy to call timberlake home and would absolutely recommend this community to anybody.

***DO NOT MOVE HERE****This"positive" postings are nothing more that the property manager posting these. Seriously!!!! I lived here before and it sucked. (2013-2014) Pets are allowed to go anywhere and you just may step into something. Apartments are old and have mold. My 2-bed room apt had ants and roaches!!!! Even when you went to the mail kiosk, you have to look out for wasps! Neighbor are noisy. I lived in the front part of the apartments.***DO NOT MOVE HERE****

I am so incredibly happy to call Timberlake home! I have lived in numerous apartment communtities throuought Sarasota and have never encountered such a warm and inviting atmosphere that you will find at Timberlake. The ladies in the office are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! Anytime I've ever had an issue Suzy, Jamie or Lisa went above and beyond to ensure it was dealt with promptly. My neighbors are also all amazing people. I consider everybody within our community family.

Pros: Convenient, nice views, quiet, good neighbors Cons: Lisa in the office, peeling warped particle board cabinets, stained worn out carpeting, peeling white countertops, outside in need of paint and repair of rotted wood Value for $ is ok. They are making improvements to some units, but ours was one of the older ones and was quite in need of a make over. All cabinets were peeling, warped and crumbling. Garbage disposer and fridge did not work, requested repair but didn't happen (thinking Lisa never put our request in). Took over 2 weeks, and numerous visits to office, to get a copy of our lease. But again price is ok for the area, convenient to everything and very quiet. Just be sure to get a remodeled unit.

Originally lived here from 2011-2012, moved to Chicago and after almost three years there, we moved back. We love the space in our unit, the community, and the staff. We rarely have any problems. If ever we do, we know to alert the ladies in the office and they will take care of us. This complex is very close to grocery shopping, resturants, movie theatres, banking, etc. We also love that its close to our job. We love it here and will only move when and if we choose to purchase a home.

Timberlake Apartments is one of the nicest places I've ever lived in. It is really nice how they keep making improvements to the property. The staff goes above and beyond to always help. I have referred my friends here, and whether they have rented or not, they tell me how well they are treated. Every time I walk into the office, I am always greeted with a smile by the office manager, Suzie. She always helps me, even the tiniest problems that I have. Lisa was the person who rented to me and has made that a wonderful experience. She is a friendly, cheerful person that always brightens up the room. Jaime has been so helpful to us in so many situations. The office staff altogether is just so wonderful. I recommend this apartment community to anyone who is looking for a great place to live.

I haven't even officially moved in yet, but already have been made to feel right at home by the office staff! My official move in date is just a few days away now, and am eagerly looking forward to living here full time . I have been over in the apartment moving boxes in, and what have you, and cannot believe how quiet it is and how beautiful it is. I have lived in many complexes both here in Florida and at home, and this is by far the most beautiful and friendly one. Come on move in date !!!!

My family and I have lived here for 2 years and signing a new lease for another. We love it here and all Manages and Staff are great and make you feel like part of their family! The pool has been just updated and beautiful as ever! My daughter loves swimming, feeding the ducks and turtles from the deck that over looks the pond. Thanks Timber Lakes for all you do!!!

We have lived here for a little over two years and have continued to stay since it's such a nice quiet complex and well-maintained as well as in a great area of town. The office staff is friendly and maintenance has done well to take care of any issues that have come up. Love the extra large screened-in lanai. The walk-in closets in the two bedroom unit provide lots of very usable closet and storage space. I've lived other places where the closet design wasn't as good and inhibited full usage, but these work great. The kitchen is small, but the upper bar and pantry helps to make up for less cabinets and counter space. There is room for a full-sized washer and dryer in the hall closet. The pool, pond and fountain as well as the wildlife--ducks, occasional otter and turtles in the pond add a comfortable ambiance to the complex. Come check it out!

I just signed my 2nd year lease. My first year was wonderful and this 2nd year is also beginning on a wonderful note. If I put a request in for repair or bug removal I barely get back to my apt and they are at the door. I'm from New York and I no longer miss the city. I never thought I would say that.

I have lived here for sometime. The staff knows me and is pleasant when seen around. As long as you are a decent tenant and pay on time I didn't have any problems. The area was quiet and I was left alone. I work from home so a quiet outside environment is important. One of the best places I have lived. If not for wanting to expand my family I would still be there.
