I want to warn people renting here with children because there are definately mold issues, no grass to play on, and most importantly RATS in the ceilings of both 1st and 2nd floor units, and when you complain they trap and kill them and then you have to call and report the smell of a decaying rodent and then wait a few days for them to come and remove it. There are roaches every where and pest control is a joke! YOu can easily spend $40-50 a month of roach motels and other types of traps. You can hear everything that happens above you, beside you, and outside from both 1st and 2nd floor units. Please do not rent here if you have children and value their health, or have any breathing related problems as they will only get worse.

This community is really great. The maint dept fixes things the first time and the office staff are great friendly and attentive. It is very quiet, no problems that I have ever heard about.

I moved in at the beginning of July, and was able to sign a short term lease which was a necessity for me. Timberlake is animal friendly which made it possible for my cat and dog to share the apartment with me! Maintence requests are always handled in a timely manner. I would definately recommend to someone looking to rent.

We just moved in August 4th, and it already feels like home. We love the layout and the lanai. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and always clean. The small things that needed repaired in my apartment were taken care of right away. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They even already know me by first name! Kudos!

I moved here 3 month ago. Everything is clean, screened balkony, nice carpet, great layout, outside storage and when I had a problem with the AC it was fixed right away. I have an upstairs unit and I never hear any noise from other apartments. Neighbors are nice and help out if need be. Staff is also friendly and helpfull. Very good overall experience!

We moved into the Timberlake Apartments at the beginning of August. It was a very sudden move and the management of the apartments were able to get us a unit and have it ready for us immediately. The beautiful scenery, knowledgable staff and incredibly competitive rental rates, make Timberlake apartments an incredible place to build a home. We have only lived here for one year but with the remarkably friendly staff and absolutely beautiful landscape it is hard to imagine living anywere else! Any problems are adressed instantly and thoroughly, without exception, by the incredible maintenance crew. I would absolutely reccomend this property to anybody looking for a quiet, relaxing and friendly neighborhood.

Quiet, comfortable

I've only lived here for 6 months but it has been very comfortable. A quiet apartment is very important to me and I've found the complex to be just that. The apartment overlooks the lake in the second section and provides lots of entertainment by the wildlife. Neighbors are considerate and make a point of maintaining the peaceful nature of our little community. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and the office folks are very accommodating. Just a word of advice, if you rent a 1 bedroom unit, don't expect to fit a full-sized couch through the doorway. But not a big deal. Pets are welcome and owners care for them while being considerate of their neighbors. No safety concerns that I'm aware of. My energy costs are very low.

Love It !!!!!!

I have been here about 2 months and have no plans on moving any time soon. It's a great location to the Express way making for easy commutes. It is a peacefull place to hang your hat. I especially love sitting on the lanai watching the wildlife playing in the lake and listening to the fountain it's a nice finish to the end of the day.

Very nice

I love Timberlake this is my first apartment and it is so much nicer than I expected out of a first apartment ! I have a nice spacious patio next to the pool perfect for when family comes over. Just a warning on the first floor you can hear walking around and washing from the upstairs neighbor so make sure to get a second floor! I had an issue with a neighbor a while back living below me and the office was very nice in helping us solve the issues and all is good now. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a quiet nice place with super friendly staff :)

Timberlake

Timberlake is a wonderful place to live. I've been here 3 years and have had no problems. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Grounds are kept as neat as possible (considering pine needles and leaves are everywhere). Someone takes care of any problems that arise in a prompt manner. I have no safety concerns. I would love to see more flowers around the pool, and front area.

Great living experience

I loved living here! This was the most welcoming complex we visited while looking for a place for the family to live. We just moved out because of a move to Colorado, but would live there again if we moved back. Neighbors are friendly and I could never hear them. It felt safe, my husband was always gone working, and I was never scared to stay alone with my two children. The staff was nice, and someone was always available in the office when we needed to go in. The manager was amazing, and was professional in everything she did. The grounds were kept clean and looked beautiful at all times. The tenants were informed promptly on all activities or repairs that was going to be made to the complex. It is one of the best place in Sarasota to live!!

I have seen the best and worst of the staff come and go and must say the team they have now is certainly the BEST! Thanks Susie for bringing in a good group of residents. For several years I have contemplated moving since home prices are affordable again. I am happy to say, I feel a little more comfortable staying since the quality of residents has improved. The maintenance team is still as great as they have always been. My only concern is when the owners are going to improve the landscaping on the property. Since I have a small dog, I walk around the property twice a day and notice some areas that could use some investment capital.

My husband and I moved into Timberlake Apartments, late last year. We looked at every apartment in the area, and kept coming back to this one. The atmosphere here is so peaceful and "homey." The complex is kept very clean, and the other tenants are super friendly. The management, and staff are so kind, and wonderful. I am so thankful to be in a place that has the atmosphere of southern hospitality, and people that genuinely care about their tenants!

Beautiful Views and Cozy Apartments

After three years here, I highly recommend Timberlake Apartments. The property is quiet and well maintained. Our general manager is first class, and our office manager is a wizard. Both have been immediately responsive to the few problems I have had. The maintenance team is outstanding.

Wonderful, friendly community

I've been in Timberlake for the past year, but have lived most of my life in apartment complexes in various parts of the country. I can say that living here at Timberlake has been one of the best experiences I've had in that regard. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable, maintenance is quick to respond to the few concerns I've had and the vast majority of the people living here are quiet and respectful of others. The property manager ---- never fails to greet me with a smile and have a kind word when I stop in the office or see her in passing. She is not only the manager but also a neighbor, and I've had the chance to get to know her on both a professional and a bit of a personal level, and can't say enough good things about the kind of person she is. My mom will be coming down to snowbird with me this coming year, and there is no way I would bring her to a place that wasn't warm & welcoming, with a good staff and a very comfortable place to live. Timberlake certainly fits that bill!

AWESOME COMMUNITY

I HAVE LIVED HER FOR GOING ON 5 YEARS AND MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN HERE FOR 9. I LOVE THE AREA AND THE STAFF HERE IS AWESOME. THE ARE ALWAYS POLITE TO ME AND THE KIDS WHENEVER WE SEE THEM. I LOVE THE LITTLE "YARD" I HAVE BESIDE MY PLACE IT IS A GOOD PLACE FOR THIS KIDS TO RUN AND PLAY. SUZY THE OFFICE MANAGER IS ALWAYS HELPFUL AND TRIES TO DO WHAT SHE CAN TO HELP YOU OUT IN WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU NEED. ALSO JAMIE IS ALWAYS HAPPY AND CHEERFUL AND HELPFUL AS WELL. Timberlake Community Review

I've lived at Timberlake for more than 3 years now and I have loved it here since day one. The quiet setting, beautiful lake and pool views from my lanai. The management staff are very friendly and quick to help w/ any problems I might be having. As for Maintenence staff, There very polite and work on issues as soon as they arise. Parking is never an issue for me but I have heard that it is for some people. I guess I can see there point because we do not have assigned parking. My neighbors are very friendly, and im fortunate to live in such a nice Community. Suzie, Jaime, Alden, Bernard and Steve are the BEST!!! I look forward to signing another years Lease in August. Keep Up the good work Guys!!!

Maintenance is THE BEST!

Woke up this morning and heard water dripping. I called and the answering service answered. Within a short time I received a call from a maintenance worker who was on his way from his home in North Port. It is Saturday morning and he is coming in. How GREAT is that? Service is AWESOME here!!!

I like Where I Am

For me, quiet, beautiful, parking, Suzie, the Mgr., maintenance and Staff are the reason that I live here. Thanks Suzie for making sure everyone follows the rules. The Clubhouse could get out of hand if Suzie failed to monitor - - - Thanks for extra effort to make sure the rules are followed, by everyone. I enjoy talking with the office person, she welcomes me each time I am there, thanks, it makes a difference to me, I like visiting a little before getting down to business. Awesome Place To Live

Timberlake Apartments is a great place to live. The office staff is amazing and is always friendly, acccessable, knowledgable and accomadating. The grounds and area are beautiful with tree lines streets and well manicured landscaping. Timberlake is located in a great community where you see people out walking their dogs, running, taking the children to bus stops and taking their daily walks. People are friendly and curtious. The maintance management staff is beyond superior. Whenever there has been an issue is has been taken care of within the day or next. I love living here and have recommended it to all my friends and people who need a place to live. The floor plans are diverse and accomadating with fireplaces and porches. There is never a noise problem with traffic or your neighbors. I love living here.

Surround yourself with courteous neighbors at Timberlake Apts.

This is a great place to live.In the beautiful Palm Aire neighborhood where people walk,bike and jog daily to maintain their fitness. I HAVE LIVED HERE THREE YEARS with my teen aged son. We have a pool,hot tub,fitness room and Volleyball net near the lake .Barbecue grill near clubhouse created family picnics. We have COMMUNITY.... All the neighbors have been courteous,all hours of day and night...Many of us arrive home late each day. It is a safe place. I've seen police cars here off and on but it has NEVER been a disturbance!! Neighbors tell you if you left your car lights on.If someone uses your parking spot there is always another. When there is a problem in your Apt. it is handled efficiently. I have no problems with insects or the pest control methods.The office staff wants to work with renters to keep Timberlake nice. Good storage closets on the Lanais..(porches) Spacious walk in closets in bedroom. I love the shade from the many Oak Trees and the Cypress Trees by the lake. Nature Loving Review by Diane.
