Overall I love living in these apartments, the high ceilings on the first floor and the amenities are amazing. It's the perfect location right next to my school without all the young party kids. Quiet and no noise complaints ever where I live. My neighbors are all friendly and rarely have maintenance issues besides sinks backing up. However there's a few things i dislike and the main one being the parking garage. It makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to have 3 empty floors of parking spaces yet floor 4 and above everyone is fighting for a parking spot after 3pm! Not to mention there used to be a guest pass and now ALL guests have to pay for parking. I understand the thought process of preventing guests from being towed after hours. However what about business hours? You should be able to get your guest a parking pass. They shouldn't have to pay $50 to stay 8hours! That's outrageous and bad taste in business to your loyal tenants and their guests. The other complaint is the leaf blowers in the courtyard one week they came EVERY morning 8am-9am. Sometimes I work third shift and it woke me up EVEYTIME. You can guarantee the leaf blowers will be in the courtyard at least one a week around 8am which is very annoying if you are trying to sleep in.

In four years, the community's quality of living has declined substantially and continues to do so every year. For example, this year they announced you'll be towed if you have a flat, they watch you on video when you are in the jacuzzi and yell at you on a loudspeaker if you stay too far into dusk for their liking, and parking is no longer free for guests, and is obscenely expensive. It feels like more of a prison than a community to many of us, especially compared to first years under different management.

The ammentities are very nice and well kept. My biggest complaint is the parking garage and that guests have to pay hourly for parking at the aprtment. They changed the guest parking policy since I've been living here and now guests have to pay for parking in the garage. The first three floors of the garage are typically empty and resident parking doesn't start till the 4th floor and often times I have to park on floors 8 or 9 because those are the only spots available. MY other complaint is that the sauna has business hours and is closed after 6pm everyday and closed all day Sunday. Working a a job with regular hours means I can only use the sauna on Saturdays. Overall the apartment is clean and nice and its not too loud or busy. I also enjoy the rooftop yoga they do every month as well as other monthly events. The amenities are nice and practical and I do enjoy living here despite the parking and sauna situations.

fixed clogged drain
Dan and Justin were very nice and fixed the clogged shower drain very quickly. I submitted a request to get it fixed and the next morning they were there. Very helpful would definitely ask for them again if I need

Amazing place to live!
The staff at Altis, including Randi, Wanda and Ashlynn always go over and beyond! Especially these little pop up events that they thoughtfully plan. Always a reminder of how lucky we are to live here. Great job, Ladies!

Great food and a wonderful St Pattys day food spread! The food included pretzel dogs and pretzels from Auntie Anne’s and cookies from Crumbl! In addition to really get into the St Pattys day holiday spirit they offered delicious beer!

On the surface it's good. But, then after 2 months you start to see the cracks. Our sink is constantly leaking, had our apartment flooded, had maintenance break contract and enter our apartment with out notice (zero apologies btw, made it seem like it was our fault), the leasing office is just lying all the time. The leasing office doesn't have any events and then something happens, for example now our guest have to pay for parking, then they have a event because residents are mad, it's like their going broke, every month there's less and less. They keep taking out amenities one by one. Overall not a great place to live.

Had I known management was changing the guest parking to pay by plate 24/7, I would not have renewed my lease for this year. The gym is one of the best amenities. My unit/location in the North bldg is quiet however cell service inside is spotty.

Flooring Repairs
Anthony has repaired various items in my apartment since I moved to Altis back in 2024. Most recently he did an amazing job replacing the flooring panels in my kitchen/living room. Anthony always has a great attitude, which is also coupled with a very professional mindset. Altis is very lucky to have Anthony as a part of their team.

Overall experience has been pretty good; however, parking is very difficult if you dont have a paid spot. Parking for guests comes at a price, and spots are incredibly small. Great location but high price point.

Kind and efficient
Per usual the staff at Altis respond quickly to ALL maintenance requests. I met Jonathon for the first time today and he was so kind and efficient in fixing a cabinet that had come off the hinge. One of the many wonderful attributes of living here is the awesome team that work here and Jonathon is a direct reflection of that.

The apartment building has an amazing maintenance staff and good location in Tampa. The gym and pool are nice. The building is run by a management staff that is incapable of implementing good policies or thinking through the effects of their actions. Examples include allowing a third party to charge $25 per day for apartment visitor parking and having no mechanisms to enforce that only visitors of residents park there. The management staff removed all access to amenities from the south building due to kids misusing them after hours, despite there being an electric fob reader on those entrances and more modern ways to enforce access control. This results in significant inconveniences to half the residents. More examples include last minute policies and a general lack of competence to think through how policies will affect their residents.

Overall, things have been great at Altis. People are nice. My unit is exactly what I wanted. The amenities are awesome. The location is the best, but there are a few things I'm unhappy about. 1. There is no free guest parking. Anytime a friend or family member comes to visit, they have to pay to park. The worst part is there used to be free guest parking but management did away with it. This made me feel like management cares more about squeezing every last dime out of this place than the satisfaction of the tenants that live here. 2. The stairs are locked. I cannot take the stairs anywhere except to the ground floor. This is highly inconvenient. For example, if I park on the fourth floor, I'm unable to take the stairs to the third floor (the floor I live on). I'm forced to take the elevator. It seems small but over time it becomes extremely annoying.

Beautiful views wonderful staff
This property was stunning from the moment I walked in and especially when I saw the views from the rooftop. I am thrilled to call this place home. I’m excited to move in next week and Wanda has been pleasant to work with during the application process and touring. 11/10 I highly recommend this location!

Wonderful Staff, Amazing Location
I toured several apartments in Tampa recently and came across Altis Grand Central while revisiting Oxford Exchange. I met with Wanda to see an apartment and was blown away by how well maintained the building was. The roof top amenities are top tier. I loved the new study area that just opened, it’s a perfect work from home spot. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. So happy I moved here.

I love this place , perfect neighborhood . Roof top gym and pool (amenities). The whole team there: office, maintenance is what has made my experience standout, amongst the many places I have been in downtown and nationwide.

Awesome Maintenance Crew, Management is SoSo
Whenever work orders are submitted they are quickly addressed and the maintence crew is very courteous to the needs of tenants. Management recently changed parking up and it seems even Guests have to pay for parking, when it use to be free. I've also heard management is quick to put 3 day notices if you're even 1 day late without even attempting to call/text or email the tenants, which is highly impersonal and a power play by management.

I can't say enough good things about our maintenance man anthony! He really builds a sense of community here and always makes everyone feel comfortable. He's incredibly nice and accommodating, always going above and beyond to help us out. We're so lucky to have him!

Keeps getting worse.
First, the management are top-tier liars. They tell you all kinds of things before you sign the lease, and then once you move in, or even try to move in, you never get a call back. Every time I go to the leasing office, I am treated like a nuisance. Either no one is there, or management is too busy playing Minesweeper to help residents. They get rid of anything that costs them money. They advertised a Heated Pool, which is now suddenly a Cold Plunge. They turned the bowling alley into office space, and at this point I would not be surprised if they remove the pool next. They took away all the pool sticks and balls so no one can play. They locked the coffee maker so it cannot be used outside of office hours. The sauna is also only open during office hours, when most residents are at work and cannot use it. AND NOW THEY ARE MAKING OUR GUESTS PAY FOR PARKING!!!! Everything that I was advertised is either gone or severely limited. It looks like a great place from the outside, but once you actually live here, everything is already breaking. The walls have humidity damage, the elevators do not work half the time, and the trash room is disgusting. They claim you have to recycle, but when you go down there, there is no recycling available at all. Fetch, the required package service that we have to pay $40 a month for, delivers to the wrong apartment about half the time. It completely defeats the purpose of one-day shipping. I have also had multiple packages go missing, and then you are forced to fill out a long form just to maybe get refunded for a small item. On top of that, Fetch states it is not liable for lost packages. The storefronts and lobby that Altis owns have had ongoing sewage problems, and instead of fixing them, they pump a disgusting overly sweet scent into the lobby and shops to cover it up. Next time you are in one of them, look up at the doorway and you will see a scent diffuser, especially at Planet Smoothie. Long story short, this place is a complete mess. I would not move here again.

Broken Washing Machine
My washing machine broke again.. and Danny was able to fix it just like last time! He’s literally the best, super helpful and does not leave until the job is done. I feel bad every time he comes because he has to remove my whole unit from the wall but he does it and doesn’t complain. (It keeps breaking because it’s old).

Great building & location and a solid 3.5star for this price level, no complaints about the noiselevel within the building, just from outside, but upkeep & maintenence could be better and cleaner from the garage into the hallways, doors not working and left unlocked is a security risk, main elevator not being fixed timely, frequent shortage of parking when they have unused reserved spots not rented, outdated appliances. You would expect a bit more for the premium price. Will most likely move when my lease is up.

Really like the location. Its quiet, parking is easy, lots of long term residents here as a result. The amenities are far better than any other units in the area. Price point is extremely fair for the market.
