DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have been a resident here since the apartment’s grand opening in 2020. If I had the time, I could write an entire novel about the cons of this place. I signed a lease last year from November 2021-October 2022. The front desk called me a few months ago asking to confirm my departure in October 2022 to which I confirmed and told them I am leaving and which date. Yesterday, I received a call saying I did not sign any departure paperwork and therefore, owe a damage fee of $2585. The call a few months ago came off as my last confirmation of departure, saying goodbye and everything (they did not explain any further action needed from me). I went to look at the paperwork they sent over and it had an owner password, so I couldn’t even sign it if I tried. I spoke with Randi and Yolanda and they both told me there is nothing they can do. They basically pushed me to the side and waited to collect my money. I have paid every month on time for the past 2 years (~$2800 a month, which is definitely a regret of mine). Since I’ve moved here, my car has been hit twice (the most recent time costing $12k in damages), my fiancés car was hit by the closing gate as he was leaving the garage (which has been broken since opening 2 years ago). There are college kids coming in daily to vandalize the building. The doors lock shut when the fire alarm goes off, locking you on the inside. I could go on. I have submitted all of this to better business bureau and all I can say is, do not make the mistake of living in this place.

It is good, but some of the doors are not always locked leading to people coming and going who aren't residents the garage has very large spiders, and my friends swear they are brown widow and recluse spiders which are dangerous.

Physical building and management / maintenance team are the best out there. The behavior of the residents overshadows the experience and is a persistent cloud over making this the best place in Tampa. Being so close to Univ of Tampa there are a small percentage of college aged students in the building, either living there or knowing people who live there, and while a small percentage their influence is overwhelmingly known in common areas - ignoring building rules and common courtesies (open drug use, glass and pets at pool, music on speakers in gym and pool, urination in decorative planters, driving in parking garage). Rules are sent to residents weekly, are not respected by residents, and require a more active policing approach.

The move in process was very smooth and easy. Once all the documentation was submitted we received verification in just hours. The apartment was extra clean when we arrived for move in and everyone was very helpful!

Overall, we had a great move in experience, however, there was a lot of overcrowding in the elevator. The first week was very smooth and we haven't had any issues with staff. Parking seems to be tight but again no issues yet.

My experience so far has been wonderful. The community and area is great. Walkable distance to so many places or a quick scooter, bike, or drive to anywhere downtown, hyde park, riverwalk, and south tampa area. Amenities are incredible and the views are great!

The apartment is in a prime time location about 15-20 minutes away from almost anywhere you would want to go in downtown Tampa. The community is (and city) is very dog friendly as well. Amenities are great but the rent is pretty expensive.

Altis grand central is a very clean and beautiful place to live. Also, the proximity to restaurants and bars is amazing. Their amenities are amazing, from the multiple pool tables, mini bowling, theater room, sauna, steam room, roof pool and the amazing view from the pool and the floor above.

I moved in to Altis March 2022 so I haven't been here long, but so far so good. Move in process went smoothly and office staff answered questions/concerns in a timely manner. Christiana has been a great resource and very helpful for my moving in process.

Review: I stumbled across Altis after weeks and weeks of looking and touring about 9 other buildings in Tampa. I was a bit tired of hunting and had just lost getting an apartment in Harbour Island, so after touring Altis I loved the location and look and decided to pull the trigger and sign a lease. Presentation = A+ . love the look of Altis Sunlight = A . I get lots of sunlight Noise: about a 4 out of 10. there's some hallway noise and door slamming but it's expected in any complex. I'll never understand why successful and accomplished people have to slam doors while I just pull the door when I come and go, not slam it. It's bewildering! Elevators = A- . work fine but there's no alert to see where the elevator is so you just wait? Parking = B .mixed bag. Not difficult but not as pleasant as it could be. Tight turns when you're driving up or down and some tenants do deserve to be towed bcos they park and take up too much space. I don't get it. Neighborhood = A .good area, very safe Reviews: most of the bad reviews are pre-Covid, like 2020. all the newer reviews 2021-present seem to be very positive Students = B- .mixed bag. I know you can't discriminate against any group but I wish they had less students and more professionals. Working professionals take better care of things and don't clog up the gym. What I love so far: Ton of outlets. Never had this many outlets in my life. Kitchen and bedroom have more outlets than I can use :) It's modern, great flooring, a kitchen island, bathroom is new. Lighting is great also, ceiling fans in every room? What I hate so far: Washer/Dryer combo = horrible, sounds like I'm killing a seal when the wash is going!! Toilet seat = why didn't they buy slow-close no slam lids? They spent a fortune on the fixtures but bought a cheap toilet seat. No one buys generic toilet seats any more. You buy the slow-close lids, period. Overall Rating = A- I wanna give Altis a higher rating but can't because the of the washer/dryer combo, the toilet seat, too many students, numberless elevators and the parking annoys me a bit. The washer/dryer is just horrible, late 90's type stackable. I would toss this thing over the balcony if I could. Toilet seat sucks, so took the hit on that, out $30. took a hit on the shower head too, $65. but I wanted better options. All in all, building is great. Lots of nice tenants, 5 restaurants across from us, 1 bar, 1 coffee shop. Minutes to everything, downtown, Riverwalk, Bayshore, etc. etc.

Best experience in apartment living in S Tampa. I have lived in several upper tier apartments since moving here in 2015. ALTIS IS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EXPERIENCED. The staff is what makes the difference.

Overall amazing experience especially not having seen the apartment before. Move across the country when well and the Fetch delivery service is a life saver. Community feels safe, not loud and very clean. Would recommend so far to anybody!

Pool rules are way too strict, they will yell at you if you are there during sunset. Not sure who is in charge of that but it's not a very fun experience when you take friends and family up to the roof top.

Altis Grand Central is a great community to be a part of. There are lots of great people here and I couldn't be happier to be a part of it. As for the apartment, it's a great living space for my roommate and me. We absolutely love being here and look forward to our time in here.

The office staff here is extremely friendly. I have been here for almost 8 months and any issue I have run into has been handled pretty much day of. The location of this apartment is fantastic. Quick walk to Armature, Downtown, Sparkmans wharf, Hyde park village, and Bayshore blvd is right there

Love the community and the coffee store and the facilities. Ask for Pedro, he was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. Master bathroom is fantastic and love the little garden area. Love the pool and gym

This is a beautiful abd safe community. The common area is clean looks like you are in a luxury hotel. Even having a lot of young people living in here, this place is quiet. Another good point: privacy! So many doors do get in and out. Pets are welcome and loved in here

Complex is nice and the ammenities are great. So far people are nice who live here and there is access to a lot places from here. Management needs to change the way they treat residents and understand if people are going to pay a lot of money to live there it's because they expect the best
