Location location location
I love living here. The location amazing, perfect for walking to Amelie for concerts or games. Close to Hyde park too. The amenities are the best in town and the teams amazing. Will definitely be renewing.

[Incentivized Review] Maintenance is awsome. Anytime I submit a work order, maintenance is here same day. They are always smiling. Randi always makes sure I’m comfortable 100%, I know I had a few requests that where a little picky but man she made sure they where taken care of asap

Overall great experience. Apartment building is well maintained; aesthetically nice. There are a few areas where they saved on cost like floors. Many fees included with rent, parking, trash, fetch, etc

Love property !!!!
Property was beautiful. Staff was outstanding amenities were more than I expected location fantastic to downtown. Parking was definitely something on my radar. They felt safe and convenient. So happy I visited this complex.

Altis does have good amenities but keep in mind that the game room is barely opened and usually the machines are broken or the seats in the theater are broken. It may have to do with the fact that the college kids don't take care of the amenities either. During the summer, its great because the college kids are gone. Unfortunately, I know it is hard for them to keep up with trash and such so there is that too. Not all the doors close so nonresidents have access to our building without the fob. Garage doors barely work. The apartments are great with noise cancellation. I can never hear my neighbor when she is blasting her music. I only do when I walk in the hallway. It has a great location. Leasing office tried to do activities and such. I wish they did more activities to integrate the community more. During the hurricane Helene, the community really became close and helped each other through tough times.

It's been a pleasant experience living at Altis Grand Central. The community is peaceful, the amenities are top of the line, the views are incredible, maintenance requests are generally fulfilled quickly with quality, & management is supportive of resident needs.

I genuinely enjoy living here, but I've encountered several issues that have left me feeling misled. During the initial signing and apartment viewing, I was informed that college students weren't permitted due to the restriction on co-signers. However, as I was moving in, I discovered that several of my neighbors are college students. Which I am ok with that, but I am not ok with being treated like a college student. This discrepancy has led to additional problems, such as the access to amenities. The sauna has limited hours, closing early on the weekdays and not available to access on weekends, which seems quite unusual for working adults. Additionally, the pool tables are frequently unavailable because the sticks are being held at the front office due to misuse by other residents (the college students). Again, when we want to utilize the pool tables, it is outside of office hours so another amenity off the table. When my parents visited, I wanted them to enjoy the amenities, but everything I showed them was either broken or unavailable. The hot tub was cold, movie theater had no access to movies & didn't work, bowling alley, and even the pinball machine were broken. As a joke, we said "at least we have the pinball machine", but to our surprise that was also broken. At this point, we were all laughing. This was particularly embarrassing and eye opening given the high rent I'm paying. Additionally, during my apartment tour, I was informed that I would be in a south-end unit and asked about the noise from the nearby busy road. I was assured you cannot hear it at all, but my apartment is actually right next to the road, and the noise is a constant issue day and night. I could accept this if I had been given accurate information upfront. If there's uncertainty about such details, it's better not to provide misleading assurances. Looking ahead, I'm concerned that if we decide to renew our lease, the rent will increase significantly. Given the current state of the amenities and the nature of the apartment complex, I believe the pricing should reflect these factors. If there are restrictions and broken amenities due to issues with college students, this should have been communicated more clearly from the start and the price should reflect it.

Potential but lacking proper management
The amenities are amazing when they are working. Management makes living here not enjoyable. It is sad as there is potential but ----- and her czar like management style makes Stalins great purges seem insignificant. After dealing with her I would tell anyone thinking of this place to stay away.

Amazing Community & Awesome Staff
I absolutely love being part of this community. It’s so beautiful and has an amazing location. Walkable to so much and has incredible amenities. Love the new sauna. The staff keep everything so clean and organized.

Overall I like the community. I've been disappointed with the general upkeep of the amenities. The sauna has been closed for over a year. Gym could be kept up more. Pool has been, hot tub has been down a few times

The amenities, including pool fitness Centre and other rooms for entertainment and socializing are fantastic. The maintenance crew does excellent work and the management is friendly and available. The rooftop views are spectacular, and my neighbours are all courteous and friendly

Amenities are not being kept up with like they say they are. Sauna has not worked since we moved in. They say they are fixing it ...and for months it has been under construction with NO PROGRESS. "Staff Office Parking" Takes up an entire level with plenty of empty spaces that can be utilized for resident parking. It is absurd and now there is a towing lockdown. It's great that I can't even park on the 2nd floor to load and unload without fear of being towed.

Horrible- don't move here. Amenities don't work. Units flood constantly due to horrible piping. The units are infested with black mold due to the floods that aren't properly repaired. The 3rd party contractors they hire for repairs are shady. Required renters insurance is in cahoots with the apartment complex. Property manager has no customer service, she doesn't care about the residents or doing right by them.

Staff is unfriendly after you sign the lease. I was sold on sauna when I moved in. It hasn't worked since and is under construction. Other amenities broken half the time. Including the hot tub, parking gate, pool tables. Was also told the offices in main lobby would be 24/7 work space but they have now revoked that and close them at 5pm. The wifi shared community wifi constantly disconnects. Even the staff doesn't know how to operate the community TVs and tell residents to figure it out on their own. Overall it's a nice complex with a great location and views, but for what you pay it is far from "luxury"

Beautiful space with cheaply installed appliances. Everything breaks. Poor communication about estimate of repairs. They still haven't added my email for building communications and I've lived here for almost two years. I've stopped asking or caring. Rules are broken all the time and the building doesn't do anything to enforce other than blast messages in all caps or tow your vehicle. Very unimpressed with the lack of security and care by management. The security gate breaks all the time in the garage. For Gasparilla, instead of having a system in place, they shut down all the amenities. What are families with children or pets supposed to do when the pool and dog run are closed while the streets are filled with drunkards? I'd like my money back all the days the spa tub, sauna, steam room, bowling alley grills, and other amenities have been broken or inaccessible.

My wife and I have lived here for the past 3, going on 4 years. We absolutely love it here. It's a stone's throw from downtown Tampa, it's easy to hop onto any highway system, and we can see the bay from the rooftop. Our friends and family always comment how great the view and the amenities are. All of our maintenance needs are met within a timely manner, and we really have no complaints living here. It's a great community!!

Beautiful building, amazing pool and rooftop, very nice and friendly staff, amazing gym, nice small events. However lots of stuff always broken - example hot tub didn't work for four month or so then some days it's hot others super cold again. Lots of doors throughout the building are broken (especially in the south tower back side - mostly it's just that the feathers inside the top part need to be replaced). Grills are on and off working. Sauna (ik it's getting fixed) but non functional for at least half a year. Wifi upstairs very inconsistent.

Love the community, except for the package and Fetch situation. I will not be living here again for this reason. Fetch is incompetent and highly inconvenient for people who have jobs!!! Cannot wait to get out of here so I can send out the "save-the-dates" for my wedding - because I refuse to provide a different address for cards and packages to 200 wedding guests. So unbelievably tacky and embarrassing. Fetch has destroyed enough of my property, so I refuse to let them ruin a single wedding gift.

Our apartment specifically is fine, the building and management team specifically is a Joke. Terrible communication, ridiculous rules, and overall a waste of space, general Knowledge, and help. When first touring we were sold on numerous things, none were revealed to be broken at the time, then zero communication regarding fixes which led to just being boarded up. Have ask front desk numerous questions regarding issues and answer is always "Uhhh I don't know." Just very lackluster and very unwelcoming building overall.

unsafe living, disrespectful staff
I have lived here 5 months, and loved it at first until learning how disrespectful the office staff is to me. Every time a voice a problem (like the broken gate) they make it seem like its not a security issue, and lied to me saying the company was there that day fixing it (which they weren't because its been 2 weeks since this incidence and the gate is still broken), the gate being broken is the exact reason other neighboring residents had their cars broken into, and the leasing office said they cannot do anything. Another security issue with the garage gate is that our connecting door from the stairwell to the garage is also broken, meaning any individual from the street can walk up onto our floor. As young women I feel as if I cannot voice my feelings and speak up for myself, even though the entire leasing office is filled with women, I am looked down upon. Instead of making residents feel heard it's always just a defensive comment back.I dont feel safe and nothing has been done, from other residents Ive heard the gate was broken just a couple months ago, which the leasing office blames on "frequent usage". Why isn't the gate replaced to something that can sustain frequent use. This isn't an issue for my friends at neighboring apartment complex's. Also, there is often individuals who drive their cars recklessly and loudly in the parking garage which sets off many others car alarms late into the evening, waking up everyone in the building. They use their monthly events to cover for the fact for not respecting the individuals that live there, every time I express a concern, I dont get a sincere reaction, Its like im getting a lesson or scolded. There's no cameras in the parking garage, so when someone hit my car, I had to pay out of pocket. I dont recommend living here for the amount they are charging, they are disrespectful, which should be the last thing they are doing with the amount individuals are paying to live here, they are severely upcharging for residents to receive very little to nothing, as theirs not even security in the parking garage or working amenties. Many times I had no working toilet all weekened, after labeling it an emergency in the maintenance app, and had to walk all the way to the lobby and gym to use a bathroom. I would go 3-4 days with no working toilet, which isn't even completely fixed because it needs to be plugged every other flush to work, even after placing many requests. Basically, take your money else where you'll be much happier.

The building and location is amazing. The property is run fairly well. There are things that could be better. There are broken doors on the property. The gate in the garage has not worked for the majority of the 2 years I've lived here. The steam room was closed up by building a wall in front of it because they couldn't keep it running. The steam room hasn't worked most of the time I've lived here. The pool is closed much earlier than allowed because the management locks you out. They have very threatening security that roams the building or yells at you over the PA system if you're in a part of the building management doesn't want you in. The staff up front is not friendly and actually rude. We receive emails weekly about the rules and consequences. It's frustrating paying more than the local market average and feel unappreciated and just like a cash cow. The overwhelming majority of communication from management is about rules and consequences and reminders to pay rent or pay ridiculous fines. Those messages are 90% of the communication from them. There isn't anything personal or warm or inviting about the management team in place and is the reason why myself and many other won't renew here.

Randi is great. Overall the apartment is good with just minor inconveniences. My sink needs to be fixed in the bathroom and some maintenance issues with amenities and common areas. There's been soon water leak on my floor for weeks

Nice building. Pretty new (I think it was open 1 year before I moved in in 2022). Amenities for the most part are nice (pool, gym, sauna). The parking garage sucks - residents are forced to park on the 4th floor and above and it becomes a mad house during busy hours. The maintenance people are awesome/always willing to help. The grilles get a 4/10 purely due to the fact they're gas. Wish there were more and nicer grilles available. Management has always been nice. Resign notice was kind of out of nowhere and 4 months before our lease even ended. Overall getting too expensive for what you get space wise. Good for young families but not individuals (in our case we have 3) 1 person gets a great room and bathroom and the other 2 people live in closets with a tiny bathroom.

Overall good experience at community. Clean and well kept. Wish management held residents accountable instead of just sending out rules and regs emails (smoking on property, extreme noise from certain units, etc.). Amenities could be kept up better/management should proactively provide residents updates on inoperable assets. Should allow rent negotiations with residents upon lease renewal, especially with 10+ unleaded units.
