Altis has one of the best apartment locations in Tampa. The atmosphere throughout the community is more than welcoming and you get some of the best amenities and views. The convince to the city and surrounding amenities are what made me choose Altis.

My experience was great until I actually moved in. The management seems extremely controlling and it is concerning. I understand that there needs to be rules but do we really need to be monitored 24/7? The facilities are great and I would love to be able to enjoy them but it makes me extremely uncomfortable knowing I'm being watched.

Altis has a great location, with a beautiful rooftop pool and hot tub, grills, amazing gym, and movie room with a bowling alley even. Superficially, its a really great place and great location across from the University of Tampa. Once moved in, I found the issues with the community. First, the towing is out of control. The first three floors are for visitor parking, but at 4AM CommTow will come and tow every last car. There's never any visitor tags available, and the floors are never full, so forgetting your visitors car will get you a $200 towing bill. In the resident area, if your tag hanging from your mirror has fallen off, or forgotten to put back up (mine annoys me driving around) you will 100% be left with a $200 tow bill -- even with a reserved spot you will still get towed. Regarding the pool and hot tub, it is only open from 9 until 7, the doors are locked during other hours. If you're there beyond those hours, there is 24x7 offsite monitoring with a megaphone to make sure you're not there. With 90 degree days, I definitely do not want to use a hot tub in the middle of the day, and I'm not sure the reasoning behind it not being open until at least midnight. Other luxury communities like ICON with a hot tub do allow you past sunset. There is a hard limit of two guests per unit. They are very strict with this and I've actually gotten a legal warning for having 5 guests over. With this warning they also encouraged me to contact them if I see any other residents with more than two guests (hello ---- Germany). You're not allowed to reserve any spaces for more friends, whether the spaces are in use or not. The pool area has a strict no music policy but they typically do not play music from the speakers at the pool. Overall I do enjoy the location and my apartment is nice, but I feel that when paying 2500+ per month that having reasonable rules regarding the amenities was expected so all of the tenants can enjoy them in a responsible way. I'm locked into a 15 month lease, and would not recommend the community nor will I renew as I could get a house without any of the amenities for the same price and be able to have more than one couple over at a time.

Fantastic building and amenities. Great value for what you get. The location is so convenient for being in the city. You're right by great restaurants and grocery stores. The building is very quiet and is also kept very cool with the sun.

Altis Grand Central is a beautiful property with modern decor in a prime location. One of my favorite things about Altis is the yoga events they offer once a month on the 4th Thursday of every month on the rooftop deck at sunset. The staff is lovely! Kara is helpful, informative, and bubbling with positive energy. The amenities are the best I've ever seen. A bowling alley/game room, roof top deck, state of the art gym, wet/dry sauna, lounge and office spaces to work from. This is one home sweet home!

The apartment is great, people are very friendly. The community is very good and very clean. Overall, I like this apartment building and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. However, when I moved in my car was towed the first night because the staff didn't disclose that I should then park in the number is space parking and they only said that I could park anywhere after the gate. When I realized that my car was not there, I ask the office to Rainburst the fee for the towing company and they did not. So far, that's the only issue I have been experiencing that it was not resolved.

As the community is growing, problems are occurring everywhere. The parking space is small, so it is increasingly difficult to find a space to park. The parking slot is so narrow that big vehicles like pick up or even mid size suvs occupy two slots, making the parking lot situation worse. I can't sleep because of the noise-causing neighbors in the patio until dawn.

Lovely amenities and staff are very friendly. Parking is a nightmare - exit door to garage was blocked for days until management finally had car removed. Limited elevators which makes things challenging when one is nonfunctional.

The amenities are better/nicer than any hotel I've ever been in my life. Insanely pretty. The view. The location. The apartment size. Everything is really good. It's also very safe. Very hard for someone to get in.. you have to use your keys to get in everywhere.

The complex is overrun with college students, nearly all of them not wearing masks and flooding shared spaces with friends for parties. While the amenities are fantastic, they are frequently unusable because the complex is not enforcing any of the rules limiting guest access or ensuring socially distant use of the shared spaces, let alone mask wearing. It seems like this would be a great place for a college student looking to party, but less so for others. Because of the modern look and world-class amenities in a central location, Altis has potential to be an amazing complex if they took efforts to ensure safety during a pandemic and to reduce the fratty culture for the shared spaces.

I wouldn't recommend moving to Altis Grand Central. They force you to have all your deliveries go through a 3rd party delivery service called Fetch Package Delivery. The cost of this service is $10 a month (again forced to pay even if you don't have packages delivered) This service prolongs the arrival of your packages by at least 2 days. It is unfortunate that this complex forces their residents to use this paid service.

So far the experience has been good. I love the building and location. Kara is fabulous and is available 4 of 5 weekdays. The other front desk person is unhelpful and appears disinterested. The building manager & associate manager seem OK but I have not had to interact much. It would be a great improvement if there was a 24-hour concierge service!

It's in a great location but the building construction is poor. The windows are not of good quality and the noise and insulation very poor. The vinyl flooring is cheap. The walls are painted with cheap paint and mark up and dent easily. The mail system is terrible! Receiving packages or lack of is horrible.

Construction is still happening on our building so it's loud throughout the day which isn't ideal but it's manageable. I also detest the port-a-potties directly outside of my patio/yard area. Tenants or tenants guests above me (somewhere above but not on the second floor) throw cigarettes into my yard which is unacceptable. Lastly the refrigerator isn't the correct size for the slot that was built.

North Hyde Park community. Right in the middle of everything downtown Great location! Great restaurant and business are right across the street. There are two close entrances to Tampa Riverwalk. Quiet and upscale with super amenities.

Looked at a lot of places in the Tampa area and Altis had the best amenities by far. The pool, gym, and shared space on the top floor is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this building for anyone new to the area or looking for a great location.

I am very to be part of this community. Apt and building are in brand new condition. Nice and clean all the time. I feel safe living here. Only negative comment is the noise from highway, but hopefully I can get used to it.

Cara with Altis has been amazing throughout my entire move-in process. She was available after hours to assist with any of my questions or concerns. She made sure that I had a smooth move-in experience even when she was not in the office. My apartment was extremely clean (brand new) upon move-in and it is so quiet. I was concerned with it being so close to UT, but everyone that I have come across has been quiet, respectful, and nice.
