I love this Apartment! The women at the main office are so sweet and helpful and my favorites are Kizzy and Erica. Erica was my sales representative. We were relocating to Savannah Ga from Michigan, so she took me to view the apartment on Zoom which was so cool of her! They have lots of community events and my neighbors are really nice people. The common outside area is nice & quiet area to relax, especially while the neighborhood kids are in school, lol. But there's a playground right across from my unit which is perfect for my kids. And I have a garage! Which is on point when moving from a home to an apartment. The apartment unit itself is so pretty and it's a perfect place until we purchase our home in a few years. We have lived here for a year now and it's been great ??

Nightmare
Absolute nightmare!! Do NOT rent from these people!! They are terrible people who only care about themselves. You will be treated like trash similar to what the Place if Georgetown collects. You pay for valet trash, which doesn't exist. They let you live with no AC for months and appliances that don't work. They cannot keep maintenance staff, probably from being spoken to like the property manager speaks to residents.

I live in a 1 bed 1 bath loft apartment at the links at georgetown. The community is quite nice although the trash service is sub par and the billing at first was a tad confusing. Within my first few months living at the links at georgetown I have not once had my trash picked up through there valet service dispite having it up to snuff to the trash service standards. I have since given up and just driven my garbage to the dumpster myself as do many of the tenets here. Other than that issue the amenities such as the two pools, gym and playground are quite nice. If traffic is your concern abercorn can get pretty backed up at the usual rush hour times, but if you leave early in the morning for work it's a dream (I leave at 6 am). There is a slight issue with ventilation throughout my apartment as there is no pass through vents between rooms such as the bedroom so there isn't a consistent temperature throughout the apartment. There is little excess storage unless you get a garage which I soon plan to do. The fireplace in the loft apartments are incredible in the winter but do be cautious in using them as they are real wood burning fire places and can be extremely dangerous if you do not know how to use them. The kitchen is somewhat small with little storage and a small pantry. All together the links at georgetown is a fine place to live although I would dare to say it is slightly overpriced for what it is. I would still consider it to be worth the consideration.

Office responds to needs in a timely manner. The complex always has something going on from car break ins the cops chase at night. Hear gun shots from what sounds like the coming from the next neighborhood.

Sometimes maintenance and staff can be inconsiderate. A refrigerator was put into my apartment. Maintenance banged up the wall pretty bad and they gave me a refrigerator that was almost in the same condition as the replaced one.

Run, run far and fast from here!
I've lived here for 2 years now and will not be renewing my lease for a 3rd time. You can never get anything done in here. From a simple work order to requesting copies of my lease to just the basic trash pickup. I live at the small complex. The fence around the outside of this place has been falling for months now with no repairs. The trash here is all over all the time. You may see some one once in a great blue moon picking things up but it s rare to see anyone. When the maintenance man does come over he sites in his car and when I say hot boxing, the smoke roles out when they do get out. Good luck getting someone at that office to answer the phone which is crazy because when I do go over to work out at the very outdated gym, they're all just sitting around. With all the complexes that are being built in this town there are a lot of other options.

My family and I are extremely unhappy. We put in service requests when important things are no longer working, yet we are always forced to put in service requests multiple times and sometimes that still isn't enough. We did not have a working air conditioner for 2 years in the blistering heat, with a small child, and a pregnant wife. Our refrigerator broke (which we put in 2 service requests and spoke to the front office multiple times) and it still isn't fixed after 2 weeks. All of our food went bad and we've had to get creative to feed our 2 small children since it is still not fixed. We are fed up and seeking to move somewhere else. Especially since our rent keeps getting raised but the service keeps getting worse.

Nearly impossible to get maintenance out to fix anything. Call the front office and it's "let me text him to get over there and call you right back" and never get a call back. My most recent experience with this was last week when I put in a work order for the AC going out "this is after a brand new unit was put in in 2023 and I had to get the regional manager involved to even get it looked at. I put in the request this recent time, and it took almost a week to get anyone over here after multiple calls requesting an update. When they came out the fix was "you just need a new filter". So they replaced it and within an hour the AC was out again. Mind you, I told the maintenance guy I think it's an issue on the unit like last time. Aside from this, the front office is rude and unprofessional most of the time. The yard care that we pay for in the rent blows grass and dirt all over the front door and patio and windows, and then leaves the mess. The rent we pay for the service we receive is absolutely unacceptable. 1850 dollars after all fees and water are factored in, but we can get someone to even look at an AC issue for A WEEK. Do not recommend living here longer than a year if you can help it.

Better options in the area with the same pricing
This place is a joke. Good luck getting help from the people in the office. Every time we come in there they are either all standing outside by the door smoking or too busy talking to help if we come to the office since no one ever answers the phone. The manager lady is always behind closed doors all day and is never any help. Good Luck getting any issue in your apartment fixed. I only see two guys riding around on the golf cart all day. There was a wine thing last night which was nice to have but the employees (Shannon, Kizzy, Alyssa) again spent more time talking to each other than talking with the few people that did come in. Shannon always acts like we're bothering her and Kizzy is rude never looking up to speak. GET EVERYTING IN WRITING because no one ever remembers if we call or if we put in a request for a repair.

One feels very isolated living in this community. Very little interaction with neighbors. Few community events and when given, very few show up. Not very friendly. We would not recommend this community for empty nesters.

It's been great! The staff are very helpful and nice. I LOVE my apartment and the community grounds. It's beautiful. I will say there was a weird time when my partner and I showed up to Wine Down Wednesday and the employees who were running the event (thanks by the way it was yummy food and wine) didn't really address us and then left the room and went outside leaving us alone. I guess I was just disappointed because I wanted to meet people. Everyone really is nice though just thought that was an odd situation. Okay but I think something that could really be improved is valet trash. It's gotten a LOT better but I pay the monthly fee to take my own trash out most of the time because they forget our unit. I do appreciate that it's gotten better.

I feel that the property management staff here are very friendly, but the property itself is really awful. When we moved in, one of the rooms had a window that leaked for two months before it was fixed. The curtains were taken down but never put back, and the outlet cover was removed during the window repair and also never replaced. And it was a serious leak?when it rained, water poured directly in. We had to tape it up ourselves, and it took two months to fix! Then, our dishwasher leaks, so I've never used it. Our bathroom outlet suddenly lost power, so we have to use an extension cord in the bathroom! And there are still things that haven't been fixed that I haven't even reported yet because there are just too many things to repair! Next, the door of the kitchen cabinet was broken from the very first day we moved in, and it was taken off but hasn't been put back in three months. The most frustrating thing recently has been the kitchen sink clogging! Since the day we moved in, we've always thrown food scraps into the trash, but the worker said it's an issue that has built up over time without being dealt with, making it so severe now. We haven't been able to use the kitchen for almost a week. The living experience here is absolutely terrible. This house is so broken that it shouldn't even be rented out, but they still rented it to us. And these are issues you can only discover after living here for a while. It's like a scam. It's really driving us crazy.

Honestly it's overpriced for what you get. The roads in neighborhood are horrible. The amenities aren't worth it. My husband saw a parent offering their children weed. This is not a family friendly place.

A good description of this place is calm, serene and placid. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My apartment is in a perfect location near the city of Savannah, but, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, to enjoy the quiet of my surroundings.

Our first experience is fairly okay. The two main issues I had were one flooding of my bedroom when it rained . Secondly the main problem I had was customer service at the front office. There are three persons in the office; the problem was not with Liz or Alisha but a third individual who sits at the back of the room. I went to inquire about the rent and this person was very rude and nasty in her approach to a simple question asked about the rent. I don't know if there's a training this person can get urgently. I was so upset with this experience

Good apartment and complex. The staff and office are extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. When moving in I wasn't able to get to the office till after 6:00pm and one employee ensured she stay in the office until I arrived which I really appreciated. The neighbors are all friendly. I enjoy all the events the leasing office puts on. The only complaint I have is the trash service. I'd rather have the choice of having the service or not, instead of being forced to pay for it as part of the lease. The service does not follow the hours/days listed as pickup days. I'd just prefer to save $30 a month then pay for a service where I have to cross my fingers that I don't wake up to my trash bags rummaged through by wild animals because it wasn't pickup the night prior.

I feel that the community is beautiful and a safe one. The office staff is very nice and attentive. However I don't feel that maintenance does their job thoroughly. Sometimes they take shortcuts when doing work and it doesn't get resolved/creates more issues.

Quiet, peaceful my place needs more work done but I am just a little old woman that needs a place to live so here I am. I'm just trying to get through without any problems and live a life without causing problems but I would like for all that I am paying for will be done but some of them are not but you are taking payments from me, that is not fair. And request for work that needs to be done it seems to have to be an emergency otherwise I am still waiting for that service. I am doing my part but I am still waiting for you all to do yours.

It's fine it's just gone downhill in like the past year. Community amenities have been shut down or taken away because people trash them but then management doesn't seem them worthy to repair either. Kinda frustrating. The office people are very nice but ultimately I know they can't change things.

Terrible Place To Live!!
This place was terrible, we fell behind one month on rent they called for a dispossessory warrant before the month was over, I offered to pay the rent including late fees they told me they can’t accept any partial payments meaning I would have to pay next months rent before the prior month was over, which is illegal! The idiot property manager doesn’t know what the hell her staff is doing and neither does she. They illegally evicted me and my family after I offered to pay the past due balance. Very unreasonable humans, I would recommend the shelter before signing a lease with these idiots.

It's been a pleasant experience living here at the links of Georgetown. There has been a few cases where my air conditioning hasn't functioned properly but the maintenance team handled it in a very timely manner. Ms Erica is amazing along with the rest of the team.
