The overall experience here is excellent. The management is top tier and the shared grounds like the gym and pool are always in clean condition. The quality of life here is what makes this a good choice. I live on the 4th floor and have an AMAZING neighbor and everyone I've run into here is pretty friendly. I don't see people "hanging out" in hallways or hear loud noise at night even with the window open. It is not the lowest cost apartment but one gets what one pays for. Being right across the street from Smyrna city hall, PD/Fire/911 means excellent response times, though in the 5 months I've been here, I've only seen PD here once. Speaks volumes compared to other complexes in this part of Cobb county.

Great management team! They care about your wellbeing, ensuring you're comfortable. Great location. Public is downstairs, bad daddy's, newks, Zaxbys is across the street. Also, the convenience to Cumberland Mall, and the interstate the Braves stadium is down the street.

Living at Sync at Jonquil for the past few years has been such a great experience with staff members and maintenance team are beyond helpful and quick responding. Living here has been an excellent experience.

Do not recommend
I waited until the end of my entire lease term before writing this review because I wanted to give an honest and thorough account for anyone considering living here. I do not recommend this complex. When I first moved in, I was excited. The building looked nice during the tour and the leasing office staff were friendly and very communicative. Unfortunately, it did not take long after moving in to realize that the experience did not match the initial impression. One of the biggest issues was the cleanliness of the building. The hallway that leads from the leasing office to the model unit does not reflect the actual condition of the rest of the building. The floors throughout the residential hallways were frequently dirty, with urine, food, paint residue, and trash left in common areas. At one point I even found a used condom in the elevator. I reported this to management and provided photos of the trash and unsanitary conditions, but the issues continued without noticeable improvement. Pet owners should also be aware that there is very limited space to walk your dog. During the tour, ask to see the “trail” where dogs are supposed to be walked. It is essentially a narrow strip of road behind the building near the train tracks. Many times it was filled with dog waste, making it very unpleasant and stressful for pets to use. When residents brought this up to management, the response was that there was little they could do other than occasionally have landscapers place hay over the area. Another major issue during my lease was the fire alarm system. The alarms went off multiple times in the middle of the night, forcing residents to evacuate the building. On one occasion the alarm went off for more than three hours and even the fire department had difficulty stopping it. Management later said it was caused by a leak in the building, but there was very little communication or concern shown for residents who had to wait outside in the cold and rain, many with children and pets. Parking can also be inconvenient for guests. Visitors staying longer than three days are required to pay for parking. Otherwise they must park in the uncovered public area outside the deck near the restaurants, which is not secured. My final concern is related to package security and management response. Around the Christmas/New Year period, a package belonging to my partner was stolen. We later discovered that the package had been moved by management from its original delivery location in the mail room (where cameras operate) to the package room floor, even though there is a sign stating that packages should not be placed there. During the investigation we were also informed that the cameras in the package room were not functioning, leaving residents with no way to identify what happened. The situation eventually involved a police report, but management stopped communicating with us about the issue. As residents who paid rent on time and did not cause issues, the lack of accountability and follow-through from management was extremely disappointing. After not getting help from the onsite team, I reached out to corporate and spoke with the regional manager, Leslie Thaxton, but unfortunately the response was no better. Overall, while the building may appear appealing during the tour, my experience as a resident was very different. I encourage anyone considering living here to ask detailed questions, tour the entire property, and speak with current residents before signing a lease.

For me one of the biggest things I love for in apartment living is how loud it is I have had no issues with noise. The office staff is very nice and my first year living at sync has been an overall positive experience

Great area but need to control pot smell and noise. Need better appliances and control over residents. The community is very pretty outside. You can walk to restaurants and other activities. Also, the gym is nice.

My experience was excellent! The community is nice and quiet! The staff are amazing and informative. I didn't have any problems with the apartments. I love the amenities. I would definitely tell people about this place.

Overall great community. The company should consider making some adjustments to the sensitivity of the smoke alarms which go off very frequently in the middle of the night and for prolonged periods. I do like the property overall.

It's been great living here. It's a very walkable community so that's what makes it appealing for me and my family. We get to walk to Smyrna Village and enjoy all of the activities and festivals that they have and now with the new brewery it's gonna be a great summer. The apartment complex is always thoroughly cleaned. I have not had any problems with pest. The neighbors are very nice. I have not heard of or experienced any car break ins on our property and it's super great to live right next to Publix and be able to walk and grab groceries when needed.

If you want to live in a community where management ignores your concerns, this is the place for you. They will ignore any concern you have a make you feel like you are the problem. If you want to live in a community with roaches and dogs leaving poop and pee everywhere, this is the place for you. If you want to hear everything your neighbors talk or do and want to hear complaints from others about what you do inside your walls, this is also the place for you. Enjoy

This place is wonderful. Modern, clean, quiet, secure, incredible amenities, and everything from parking to moving in is as convenient as can be. From the moment I moved in I called this my HOME. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I actually enjoy this property. I've had a few issues regarding downstairs neighbors and noise complaints simply because of me walking around which I cannot control. I can hear my neighbors upstairs and by me but I dont complain because this is apartment living. Residents do not get their packages in a timely manner causing others deliveries to be left on the floor. There are random fire alarms during various times and they can last long as well. Also, if you get an apartment that faces the train tracks, be prepared to listen to the train go by especially between 1am-6am. Other than mostly these things, this is a great community to live in.

Very quiet place and very friendly staff, the lease signing was very smooth and so was move in, the apartment is very clean and appliances are up to date. The only issue I have notice is a few wall outlets do not work. But I am sure maintenance can get them fixed this week! :)

I love the neighborhood and how peaceful and quiet it is. Everyone is so nice and respectful. The only service that I feel that needs better assistance are the parking garage and pest control. Other then that, its good!

The leasing agents here are fantastic! They really take the time to understand what you're looking for and help you find the perfect place. I want to give a special shoutout to Julitza Mart?nez ? she was awesome to work with and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. The rent is a bit on the higher side, but the quality of the apartments and the excellent service make it totally worth it.

I have just recently moved in, however so far has gone very well. THe management office is very friendly and they gave us a move in gift of a Blink Doorbell. The other tenants seem to be good so far, no noisy evenings or anything out of the ordinary.

So far quite positive. Building is quiet. I love the community room and use it daily for work. My family uses the pool and gym. We have also used the grill. That maintenance portal is awesome - generally responses within 24 hours. I recommend you come visit. Also the location is great!!! Big plus

The community is nice, but some of the features of the apartments don't make very much sense as far as placement of the guest's bathroom. Also, the location in a commercial shopping center is not very convenient especially for traffic. The lack of rent specials and concessions definitely was a turn off.

Office Staff!
Julitza, Dana, and Latayia are an amazing team! They’re always welcoming, professional, and go out of their way to make sure residents feel heard and taken care of. Whether it’s answering questions, helping with issues, or just greeting you with a smile, they make living at SYNC at Jonquil a great experience. You can really tell they care about the community and the people in it!

This is very convenient to Smyrna and walkable for stores and businesses, the gym and pool are well maintained. The gates are frequently out of service, elevators as well and no smoking policy is not followed or strictly enforced.

Been here long time, I'm happy here. Pool is great. Neighborhood is terrific. Grocery store and bars are nearby. Very walkable area. Some residents are not considerent but that's true of all apartments. I'll stay a little longer.

Overall a good experience. Would prefer that pressure washing/cleaning be focused on halls rather than parking deck as the parking deck doesn't look any different after pressure washing. Cleaning the dirt/pollen, trash juice build up in the halls would result in less dirt tracked into apartments which ultimately results in less wear and tear on floors.
