I put in a maintenance request April 22 I think and it was canceled yet nothing was fixed and no one came. I put in another one and still no one has came. I'll be withholding rent until the items listed are fixed

It has gotten worse over the years. The management was good when I first moved in, but has gotten worse. The most recent crew with Halstead were downright nasty in communications. There is a huge issue with people not cleaning up after themselves and their pets. Its so gross I don't want to spend any time outside.

I've enjoyed living here at halstead. And would recommend it to anyone. It's very convenient to shopping & commuter rail. Apartment is clean and the grounds are well kept and there are great amenities

Very nice great park for the kids and dog great gym .The landscaping is amazing. The package room is a great idea . The apartment is very spacious.Numbered parking a plus . You have a lot of great amenities.

Its a maintenance free environment, which is good for young couples, or even a family that doesn't have time to upkeep with the lawn, painting, everyday repairs. Parking spots are given to people upon request, so you don't have to drive around looking for spots available. we like it here

We were not able to use the amenities that we planned on using because they didnt have the staff to make sure that people adhere to covid restrictions. There should have been a credit to our rent because that is what we moved there for. No parking for the delivery room. The office personnel never got back to me and ignored all my calls and some of my emails and only dealt with my Husband. They never follow up on things. Their pest control company is terrible and did nothing, we had to take matters in to our own hands to handle bed bug issue they didnt even believe we had. Sometimes the office staff wouldn't even know what we were talking about because they did not communicate with each other.

great surroundings, young children enjoying the play area, even the dogs have a dogs time, any maintenance problems handled quickly, apartments are spacious, the office and maintenance staff are friendly and very efficient

Privacy is important to us and Halstead is incredibly quiet and sound proof. Rarely do you hear your neighbors around you. Having been here for almost 8 years and the turn over of neighbors we have had good luck. Its clean and kept up well and maintenance staff is top notch.

I have been plessed fir the most part! Michelle is terrific! Very helpful! I dont have anything else to say! There might be a need now to add stop sign/light at entrance to be able to walk/cross bradford st. Traffic is high at rush hr and a hassard to get accros! It dirs not feel safe anymore!

Move in process went smooth. Still too soon for a full review but easy in and convenient. I also like how it's located next to everything. Makes it alot easier to get what you need quickly. I'll update once more time has passed.

The community life here is amazing. We enjoy coming home every night and have enjoyed our stay for almost 2 years. Our building is comfortable, quiet and our unit is roomy and modern. The amenities are a great plus as well!

This apartment complex is so beautiful on the inside and the outside. The floors are stunning, they are very spacious. If you have a good amount of clothes and shoes, you would die for the closet space in the master bedroom. The grounds and common areas are kept really well. Every interaction I've had with the staff has been pleasant. I cannot say one bad thing about this complex. I would recommend to anyone looking to move in the area. Unfortunately I do need a third bedroom now so I will not be staying.

It's tough to rate the place after only 1 year during a pandemic. Electricity costs literally double than my previous apartment. That would've been nice to know going into the place. Maintenance guys are friendly and will make an honest attempt at repairs. Having to pay for a parking space is irritating and screams money hungry and is unnecessary as I've never seen the parking lot remotely close to even half full. It should be worked into the rent and you should have 2 spaces next to each other. The intercoms haven't worked since we moved in. I haven't tried using them lately tho since Covid.

This is a great community to live in. It' is peaceful , a great location and they have a new state of the art gym. I have lived here for over a year and it's been nothing short of a great experience.

Very disappointed in Halstead Abington. Currently live here and cannot wait to move out. Management has been harassing residents that they will tow your car if it is not in an assigned, paid for parking spot. It is not good hospitality and ridiculous to have to pay an extra 25$ per month for a second parking spot on top of the high rent. I don't know of anyone who lives alone in a two bedroom apartment, therefore the need for two spaces is always there. Fitness center is small, and supposed to be 24/7 but is now only open during business hours 10-6. I happen to work those hours, therefore never get to use the gym I am paying for.

I am disappointed in the clientele they allow to live here. It seems they dont do criminal background checks before renting. One neighbor has a police record a mile long. My friend is an Abington police officer and he warned me to be vigilant of this neighbor. We were woken up by smashing glass, yelling, swearing at 4am on a Sunday morning. It was some sort of domestic altercation and they smashed the glass on their second floor patio door in the fight. When police arrived they found a bunch of bullets scattered in the area. They then spent hours with metal detectors all over the grass around our building. The shards of glass were all over the grass for a few days. This same neighbor had a huge pot plant very visible on his balcony. They play very loud music with the bass thumping at 10pm on week nights. So rude! Twice this fall there have been car windows smashed outside of my apartment. I dont know if it was done randomly or if it was done to a specific owner. Another neighbor smokes on the balcony constantly. Management was sending out frequent reminders it is a non smoking complex including outside. This didn't deter people in the least. People are very inconsiderate overall. another family in our building spends more time in the hallway. Their kid doesn't seem to ever not be yelling or crying and it just echos in the halls. If you are coming into the building at 2am you would think youd try hard to close the doors quietly, keep your voices down. Not these people. They are yelling and swearing in the hall, slamming doors, blaring music. Someone drove their car into the fence of the dog park. That was about a month ago and it still hasn't been fixed. The tarping under the mulch in the dog park is sticking up all over because it needs new mulch. This problem has been getting worse each month. They do a great job with the lawn and landscaping. The inside cooridors and doors are FILTHY. Especially with covid you would think cleaning would happen regularly. The white door to exit our building in black from dirty hands. The best part about the place is that the playground is awesome. Its nice to see all of the kids actually playing outside, running around. Theres a mix of ages and they seem to get along for the most part.

If you decide to live here; expect to change your schedule around to meet the needs of the weather and the snow plow. If you do not move your car during the very short designated time slot given to you when it snows, it will be towed. So if you have are elderly or disabled and cannot get down to your car, if you are on vacation or at work and have another car in the lot or many many other reasons for not being able to get to your car, don't worry...they will tow it for you, at your expense.

I can't wait for my lease to be up here. I have lived in this complex for 6 years and at first it was great... then Corcoran took over and it has been absolutely horrible. I can say the ladies in the office are friendly and great but there is only so much they can do. 1. Constant overflow of the trash dumpsters is an ongoing and unaddressed issue. 2. The pool/facilities are supposed to close at 8pm but people are constantly in there making noise until midnight or later some nights and management says to call the police but the police do nothing... then management says "it will be addressed next year". 3. We HAD a clubhouse you could rent out for gatherings with a deposit but now that has been taken away entirely. (Every apartment complex has a clubhouse you can rent) 4. Since there isn't a place to have gatherings anymore you try to have one during the day in the common lawn areas but then that's not allowed either. 5. The rent just continues to go up and up... and up and up... etc. but the quality keeps going down and down... and down and down. There are many other places around that are cheaper or the same price with much more to offer without any of the BS. Don't be fooled. I've addressed all of the above issues many times as well as my neighbors and the response is always the same "we're working on it"..... I can assure you they aren't working fast enough or at all.

Very Happy to live here! Great staff! Thank you so much for keeping up with the ice on our entrance and please thank the cleaning staff, she was amazing that week!! Also thank you for the Dog treats at the office and for always being so kind to my visitors! as my Grandfather used to tell me "El amor es vida!!!"

Since Halstead bought out Avana which I always gave 5 Stars to, their answering service takes messages and calls never returned, no one came to plow or shovel snow on the 16th of November as Avana people were Always out by 4am for those who go to work early, office management lied by saying snow removal company came late when in fact they never came and rain plus 47 degrees made the snow and slush melt, there is no salt in the buildings and it was like a mini skating rink early the Saturday morning after the snow and rain, leaves are piled up to 3 feet from where the wind blew them; landscapers have disappeared, the trash bins have been full for 3 days now and management asks us to not put trash around the bins and hold in the apartment, the indoor heated pool is freezing to the point it can't be used; maybe they want a skating rink for the winter!?!? And per coincidence, I got a mold infestation in my walk in closet. Rent went up as it does every year even for long term tennantTe that plan on staying for a long time with NO deals for the Faithful and now ImI paying $2340. Per month with nothing except trash removal included...when and if the come to get it?!?!?! In a little over a month, Avana 5 Stars went to Halstead 1 Star...ZERO if possible to give!!! PS They had not even ipened an account to deposit rent checks and Tennant's had to keep track of their valances minus the rent so as not to be overdrafted. A solution was given to cancel the check and incur a bank fee, ($36.00 for me) and hold the cash for the rent ...as if it is not high enough all ready. These apartments as Avana Abington were always full. As Halstead, my building alone out of the 15 has had 3 people move!!! Recommend to look elsewhere as Luxury Living has transformed into Houses of Horror!!!!

If I could give the management team at Avana Abington more than 5 stars I would! The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. The girls in the office make you feel like you're family and they always have a smile on their face. I've been here for almost a year, and absolutely LOVE living at Avana!

The management and maintenance teams at Avana have always been quick to respond and go above and beyond to make sure things are as they should be!! And they do it all with a smile. An EXTRA BIG THANK YOU for addressing the ongoing parking issue!! Some people take full advantage and use visitor parking (or someone's assigned spot, or the lawn) for their second cars. Management has been more than forgiving but it's really nice to see them enforce the rules. Once a few cars were towed, people started taking it seriously. All other warnings were ignored by some. THIS is what keeps a community feeling safe and secure...rules that are enforced!!

These apartments are more condo style apartments. Open Concept and Spacious and tons of Storage Space. The Management leasing Office CeCilia and Ty are extremely Friendly and Helpful in all Situations. They organize a lot of fun events here which is a Huge Plus. The Grounds are always kept Beautiful and in the Winter they have the Plows out Quickly and Sidewalks and Path Ways Cleared Nicely. I recently just had a small problem and Ty got right on it and it was all set right away. Galen and Larry who are the Maintenence guys are very knowledgeable and Nice and Friendly. This is why i gave 5 stars on everything because living here is Perfect. When you first make your first appointment or have any problems. Ty and CeCilia are the first Ones you see. And they always have a smile and handle everything professional and personal. Love Love Love living here.

I totally agree the previous review and the reviewer comments..i have been staying here more than a year but I had and having so many issues with this apartment and most important thing is its management..i have ever seen such a worse management...common areas never ever work properly...poor management they are safe because i'm not uploading the pictures...they never ever clean the pool and pool area and most of the stuff never works in a little fitness center and most interesting thing so many constraints on parking space... you will get so many letters on each day about something...and many more things...so better stay away from this so called luxury apartments if you care about your money.
