i stayed in this apartment more than couple of years but now i'm regretting a lot why i stayed there... I spent a lot money on rent for a worst AVANA ABINGTON apartment. previous management were so cool but this Management is good while leasing signed/renewed after that you will see the actual real picture...! be prepared for more electricity bills because all the equipment look new but you will get a big surprise. also be prepared for 2nd car / visitor parking your car will be gone if you stay late. . so much noise/disturbance...you will hear from everyware because of very thin wooden walls. good thing to have an indoor pool but most of the time (80%) will be on maintenance/ cleans the pool water only when you complain/ they said its heated but you have to followup and complain many time to get it heated. the worst issue i had encountered, very frequently water were leaking from sealing..strange thing it was happening in leaving room :-( in order to fix this water leakage issue they took more than a month and i had to clear all my stuff from leaving room it was so messy all over my leaving room and i had to be there while fixing that :-( more worst thing about zym/fitness center they have only two treadmills and most of them on repairs ( one never worked) the money we paid was not worth staying at Avana but we regret now.. I should have leaved in a really luxury apartment NOT like Avana. my suggestion if you are looking for luxary apartments its (AVANA ABINGTON) really NOT worth

Cecilia and her staff are absolutely amazing. They are quite honestly the reason I am still living here. I do love my apartment layout however the rent is quite expensive. Thank you for sending out the survey. I hope it is taken into consideration.

I was initially impressed by the grounds and appearance of the community as a whole. The building I am in is quiet and neighbors are friendly. The amenities are very nice and the apartment was super clean upon my moving in date.

The exterior and clubhouse are updated and well taken care of, the staff is polite, there are issues with residents throwing trash in the recycling perhaps more frequent reminders would help, pet owners do not all comply with picking up feces, perhaps more diligence or hiring a clean up person and charging the cost to pet owners might help.

I am 75 years old and everyone is extremely helpful. My 16 year old grandson lives with me and goes to Abington High School which is less than a mile from here. It is also close to the markets and stores that I shop at. I feel very safe here. My immediate neighbors are quiet and friendly. I have no complaints.

It is very expensive and because we moved in in the summer we paymore per month than most. I am not happy with the dumpster being over filled most of the time with trash lying on the ground beside them, pick ups should be more often. It is a health hazard as well as an eye soar.

We moved up from Boynton Beach, FL to Abington two years ago, and spent that time living here before buying our home about 2 miles up the road. We will keep the best memories from the place! The unit is fantastic, very roomy but what really made this place special was the staff. Wish I could rate them 6 stars. They really always took great care of us, and any issues that would arise with the apartment. We leave with no complaints, and would not hesitate on writing our best recommendations.

i moved in to avanna 2 years ago with my wife. We are moving out next month. The unit itself is nice(granite countertops and pho hardwood floors). It's also very spacious but what ruins it for me is the people who actually live there. There is the constant smell of pot on my floor not to mention the garbage in the hall way. I can't figure out why you would litter in your own building? The renters as a whole are nice people but there are a few who ruin it for everybody. ive also called the management company at least 30 time for people taking my spot which i pay for. why can't these people be towed? Celia has been great and i know she's up against the management company as a whole but it's not worth the rent that is being charged. Those units shouldn't be more than $1800/month. The washer and dryer leaves rust stains on our clothes and at this point im tired of fixing the little things like the air conditioning. We had to call meintanence at least 4 times to fix it. if you need the space yes it's a decent space but look elsewhere if you thing it's a "luxury" apartment

I lived here from 2014-2017. I'm going to break down my review into PROs and CONs, since ot everything is horrible (and not everything is good). PROs: - layout and "surface" things of the apartment- the open concept, granite counter tops, and wood in the living areas is really nice - the office and maintenance staff is really nice - the fitness area (more on the broken equipment later) and clubhouse area are great amenities CONs: - too expensive for the things we get for our rent - the apartments are poorly constructed- I can hear EVERYTHING my neighbors are doing (including having sex) - the noise level, on a daily basis, from parties to kids running around and jumping, to so much more - the kinds of people that are allowed to move in (drug deals happen on a daily basis; too many Section 8 residents allowed) - smoking inside the buildings is allowed to continue, despite it being in our lease- in no uncertain terms- that there is NO SMOKING IN THE BUILDING (that... and a documented health issue directly related to smoke of any kind) - fitness center machines constantly broken, despite management being notified of broken equipment - outside landscaping has gone way downhill- the property was so nicely maintained and kept when I first moved in... by the end, most of the plants and shrubs were dead, almost the whole lawn was brown (due to not watering the lawn), and there was dog feces all over the place - random people parking in assigned parking spots (rather than visitor parking) - outdoor lighting is always broken and is unsafe for people I could go on... but... I am so glad I'm out of there, and not living around people who just don't care about the property and their neighbors.

Large space with great kitchen appliances and granite countertops throughout. Pet friendly. Nice landscaping. Quietness depends on your neighbors (mine are quiet). Visitor parking may be far away depending on your unit location. 24 hour gym. Easy access to entire south shore and 20 minutes to Route 3.

The first impression of the model apartment was fantastic. Though our initial tour was not as informative by the person who took us around, we were able to get the answers to questions we had by others in the management office prior to us signing the lease. The open concept of the living, dining and kitchen area, the large bedrooms and the amenities were a plus in our decision to live at Avana Abington. Upon moving in, though the apartment was definitely clean and spacious as the model, there were a few items that needed some attention. For example. some outlets were not working, the garbage disposal not working and some of the cupboard doors were loose or off the hinges and. The stairwell and carpet area in the hallway had stains probably made from trash removal. All these minor items were addressed and fixed by the maintenance department within a few days which was great. The landscaping is awesome, the cleanliness of the grounds and again the amenities which include reserved parking, an indoor pool and a fitness center. We are still very new to the property but so far we love this area.

Our apt. is nice & spacious. We chose to live here because there was only one month's rent & a lower deposit fee required at move in, also because Cecilia was so friendly & helpful when we called to inquire about the apartment. The negatives are no covered parking, & the inconvenience of having to drive to the post office for a package because the large mail boxes are full.

All Avana Abington apartments have two bedrooms and two baths we especially appreciate the washer and dryer on premises and the working electric fireplace in the living room area. The heated pool and 24 hour gym are huge pluses the grounds are kept up beautifully. I believe the Avana Abington apartments are the finest in the South Shore

The apartments are absolutely gorgeous. The community is so quiet and dog friendly. The facilities are beautiful. We couldn't be happier. The staff is so responsive. My only complaints are that the AC doesn't work really well and also there is always so much poop in the dog park which is really disappointing and unfortunately. Overall though, we are SO happy in our apartment and enjoy coming home there every day. Anyone who has visited us has been so impressed. Great location, reasonable price.

If you live on the first or second floor you can hear people going up and down the stairs inside your apartment. And it's especially load in the second bedroom which is where my babies sleep which can be very irritating. I complained about a certain group of individuals who would non stop stomp up and down and had their kids running up and down the stairs. The office pretty much told me that they couldn't do anything. The walls are thin and you can hear certain people playing loud music and people screaming. I can hear the apartment across from me playing music and their child screaming till a least midnight everyday in my living room. I am just thankful that my apartment isn't attached to theirs. Some of the other tenants can be a bit low class and can get in your face and try to start a fight. The rooms are of large size and that is the main reason why I stay here along with the price. The staff here is nice and easy to talk too. Avana is okay, average I guess. I would recommend others to stay here except I would recommend that you stay on the third floor or stay on the first or second if you aren't going to really use the second bedroom.

Every member of staff is willing to listen and ready to help any resident. They all work very hard to maintain the community. During the aftermath of one of the March 2018 Nor'Easters the community lost power for about 20 hours. Cecilia, Ty, and the guys set up a water, snack, and relief station in the clubhouse. It felt more like a community event rather than a snow storm. They went the extra mile to ensure we did not feel abandoned or left to fend for ourselves.

Beautiful and convenient layout. Very pet friendly. New appliances and beautiful fireplace. Central air is a huge benefit. Great green spaces for children and pets. Set back from main road, minimizing noise from traffic. Noise between adjacent apartments is nonexistent, but noise (mostly walking) from apartment above can be heard.
