yuk
all you need to do is read these reviews, you sincerely and whole-heartedly need no comparison of this trashy place, unfortunately every day that goes by it's reputation gets worse and worse by the people that are moving in and (already) here. I am yet another resident that was checking out these reviews that is concerned enough to let other people know to SERIOUSLY consider whether or not this place is right for them, there are no positives! Yet ANOTHER drug dealer smoking pot RIGHT outside my window while a little girl sucking her thumb and walking her puppy strolled RIGHT past him. ALL WRONG. The parents here do not watch their children including toddler, older kids, and teenagers. The teenagers accumulate in large numbers at night in the gym going on the treadmills with skateboards and very rude, and I have had to speak to kids beating up a 3yr old girl that was let out loose with ZERO supervision its just so ------ here I think some of the parents need parenting classes badly. It's not that difficult to watch your children unless you are lazy. I almost hit a little 2 or 3 yr. old crossing the street BY HERSELF with a baby carriage, and thank god im one of the few who actually go the posted 10 mph or else she would have been dead in two seconds because people go 30 all the time. ICK this place is gross.

Appearances can be deceiving
My wife, children and I have lived at Abington Woods for nearly a year now. We are itching to get out of this place! Major concerns include poor craftsmanship, inefficient insulation, shifty management, expensive monthly rent, and general safety. Althought the apartments are touted as "luxury", we quickly came to find out that they cut corners everywhere. From the heavy granite counters, collapsing through particle board frames...to the windows and vents that aren't sealed...to the electrical outlets not to code...to the carpet pulling up...to the cheap, energy-sucking appliances ...to the rattling doors...to the lack of floor insulation...to the ice sheets in the parking lot....to the overflowing dumpsters...to the underqualified onsite maintenance...to the smug responses from the property manager.....you could say we're unhappy here. I strongly recommend finding residence elsewhere.

FED UP
We are fed up with this community all ready and we just moved in! We are used to living in a community in which we felt comfortable stopping in and saying hello to the office staff. We also had so much respect and totally trusted the maintenace staff with our home and never worried about our dog being home when they needed to get into our apartment. We left this wonderful community because we thought the grass was greener on the other side, but we soon found out we had made a mistake. We are now stuck in a lease and would love to go back to the community we called home. If we could get out of this lease we would go straight back and hope that they had availability. Anyone who reads this should beware! Hint, there compition is highly recommended.

Don't be fooled, do not rent here!!
These apartments are advertised as "Luxury Apartments" unfortunately they do not live up to the name. While they certainly make the units aesthetically pleasing, structurally they are terrible. Most windows have air leaks and hardly close or lock properly. The exterior doors are installed incorrectly and do not close or lock properly (a huge safety hazard). Perhaps one of the most frustrating problems is the fact that you can easily hear the people above you. These units are designed so poorly that anything the upstairs resident does (walk, talk, sneeze etc) you can hear loud and clear. The management could care less, complaining is a waste of breath. I will not be renewing my rental agreement and I urge you never to sign one.
