The apartment is going down hill since it's changed management. I lived here for 7 years under equity management can not wait for my lease to be up now that it has changed. So sad was once a good community

The initial couple of months were a bit difficult at times. We had a maintenance man (NOT THE ONE I JUST COMPLETED THE SURVEY FOR) that came in my apartment without my consent, and a few issues with our paperwork being lost. The experience with the AC repair technician was the most phenomenal part of living here so far.

Families with kids should not be placed over people with no kids It can get very noisy You have working families Front doors need more then 1 lock. More lights need to be placed around trash areas.

With management and maintenance staff 8 out of 10.With the people in the community not so good .Parking not so good either more spaces are needed for visitor's and reserved spaces are very expensive also smoking policy not being monitored.

From the time I put in my application, until the moment I turned the key to MY apartment was a swift, smooth process. Alex, the leasing consultant, was able to answer all my questions, and he showed me where everything was. I couldn't be happier!!

I don't feel particularly safe all the time with all the potential drug dealing that looks like it's going in, but the price is right and the building isn't too bad. Kinda tired of smelling weed in the stairwell all the time too

I've been living here at Northlake Apartments for almost a year and i really like living here. It's very quiet, clean, each time i have a problem in my unit and put a request, Someone come either the same day or the day after to take care of it. It's very nice here. I totally recommend this community.

i meet one of the neighborhood and they are friendly, they ask if we need helo and also the leasing mgt they are helpful to us they give us what we need . For now i don't have enough experience to tell because we just move in a week ago.

To many turn overs in the office. The parking is slim to none. The outside lights are never working on the back side. It's very dark at night over by 12640. I would suggest adding more lighting. The floors are weak which is understandable but it would be nice if they put a bit more cost into the units by adding more padding to try and reduce the squeaking in the floors.

Living at Northlake has been a pleasant experience. The staff is always friendly and the grounds are well maintained. When we had an issue with a small leak in the bathroom the staff quickly reached out to us and continued to follow up with us to resolve the issue to our satisfaction.

So far so good, i like the complex. Great leasing management. But i first moved in. I got issues with my thermostat, it was running fast and my pepco bill was high, i called the office and when the technician came , je found out that the thermostat was broken , he replaced it, but i wasted my money for paying pepco eztra ,

Ian Pillai was about to answer all of our questions about the community and was very welcoming. We were able to move in immediately which was exactly what we needed. The application process was very easy and simple. Community is quiet, clean, and just feels like home.

Lovely and modern community with a Elementary School within a few minutes walk (the leasing office faces the school). Staff is friendly, prompt, and professional. Highly recommended for anyone. Easy to access with shops nearby. Love it.

Nice generally quiet area. Maintenance staff is superb and show genuine concern for getting the task done right the first time. Office staff always helpful. Unless one has a reserved space, parking can be difficult after 9pm especially if you are located in the 600 block.

Wonderful - The complex is near Elementary, Middle and High schools and 2 difference shopping malls, Fast food and Resturaunts! Ample parking! Traffic is not a problem! Friendly neibors! 1/2 hour from Rockville, Silver Spring/DC and Frederick! I would recomend to a friend for long term rental!

I've only had two complaints thus far: the noise, which is off and on, and parking. The floors within the apartments are really bad, noise wise, they need imidiate maintainance. Parking is hard to find after certain hours, and the outdoor lights are almost always out at night, which doesn't make me feel safe.

Great community. Great staff and friendly atmosphere! Northlake is the best kept secret in Germantown. Tucked away off Great Seneca Highway it offers convenience and peacefullness. I would recommend this community to anyone!! Love it!

One word. Aweful. I would tell people I know NOT to move here. The main reason is for noise disturbances that the leasing office for the most part does nothing about. I really like how it is a smoke free community, however it is not enforced well enough or emphasized to new renters before they sign their lease. Also, there is an incredibly low sense of community among the residents. No one is encouraged to be neighborly, let alone get to know each other. Most of the time, you only ever know who your neighbors are by who makes noise disturbances. The leasing office actively doesn't even want you to politely talk to your neighbor if they are creating a noise disturbances for the first time, even if it is something as simple as if the neighbor is constantly slamming their door because they are moving in. They would rather you passive aggressively snitch on them instead of being more neighborly and politely introducing yourself and then asking if maybe they could pay attention to how their constant door slamming shakes all of the adjacent apartments. Maintenance is also very disappointing in how they usually simply fix an issue but never check to make sure they did the job 100% right/complete. I usually have to have them come again because of new issues that could have been avoided if they checked everything the first time. All in all, I absolutely hate this place and I can't wait until my lease is up next June.

Never any issues. Prompt service. Ian is awesome. Main reason I chose your community. Just wish you had option for a 3 bedroom and 2 bath. The few times I was at the pool wish that the hours were longer during the summer. Would have been nice to enjoy the pool a little later in the night

As I have stayed here in the past months, the area is much quieter and has improve in that area which is a big deal. My vehicle was tampered but it wasn't a big deal because it was from kids in another neighborhood so not really worry about that because it was minor

Staff was helpful at moving. Willing to fix any issues right away. The dishwasher, washing machine a little older and very small but doable. Everyhting is little smaller than I am used to, but very Cozy. The rooms are not too big but there is enough living space. The common areas are very well maintained, and clean.

There is very good customer service here. The maintenance crew and rental office staff are very wonderful in helpful. Anytime that I needed assistance they have always met my needs. I would recommend this place to other people that were looking to move.
