My rent increased from 1350 to 2500 a month for one bedroom.Iam still in shock because this increase was abnormal ??.I guess it is a correct way of landlords getting rid of old tenants for fresh ones.

We have been here over 10 years now and the service has definitely declined as far as the office is concerned. For example my renewal lease was declined because the residential portal didn't work correctly. It took over a month to get it straight. In the meantime I'm getting threats of eviction if I don't comply. It was finally resolved, not in our favor. With apologies. The criminal element has increased over the last three years, most recently a murder 20 feet from my front door. I was told the property is not responsible for the paid security, when I asked why security didn't come around during that particular incident. A lot of shoulder shrugging and "I don't know" from the office makes me feel uncomfortable in my longtime home.

Do not sign a lease
This apartment has to be the worst apartment I’ve ever heard of ! I wish I would have known that I would be wasting so much money on this place ! My washer and dryer broke 2 months ago almost 3 and they have yet to come even see it . I’ve put in 5 maintenance request due to this . I pay extra for a washer and dryer . Not only that but I wake up with no water at least 3 times a month . Then my heat went out when it was snowing and they weren’t even going to bring me a heater I had to ask they told me someone will bring it and nobody came . I work from home so I was freezing for four days straight . Then I had a mouse it took 3 weeks for anyone to come for that and they put down one mouse trap lol . And they are supposed to come now once a week and that is not happening. I asked for a discount on my rent finally after all this and the leasing manager said she can not help me with that . The other manager hung up on me as well after it took her 2 weeks to get back to me because I said a cuss word out of frustration. The office staff not the managers are kind and maintenance men are kind as well .

The only issue that I have is the tents down on the first floor with there trash bags as shades and they have mice droppings in the windows with a bad odor when they open the door. The main door doesn't close all the way either.

Quiet community and ample parking but that's really the extent of positive feedback I can provide. Living on the bottom floor has been a nightmare in this place, ranging from rodent problems to plumbing issues. The amount that I pay in rent here does not equal the quality of living I receive.

Maintenance is awfully bad Bad attitude, no follow bad I have 2 weeks without is a move out occurs expect bad contractor finishes and dirt I live the entry is a mess, the stairs have broken pieces.calling maintenance is a may get a quick response with a good guy or be 2 weeks waiting .they don't care.

With the change of management since I've been here, there have been attempts to update community amenities but I still have heat, rodent and now plumbing issues. A very reactive management company when it comes to updating these known issues. Resident packages get stolen by kids in nearby neighborhoods. It is hard to reach anyone by phone in the leasing office. The water metering system is primitive so the community doesn't pay by individual usage. Not something that is spelled out when signing the lease. Between those bandaided issues and rent increases every year, it is hard to want to renew.

My experience has been sub par. There is always trash in the buildings, and in the street. People smoke weed and smell up the entire building, and leasing office can't do anything. Walls are very thin

Buildings and grounds are attractive and well-maintained. Office staff and maintenance are very kind and helpful. Maintenance responds quickly and makes every effort to resolve problems quickly. The apartments are showing their age and need more frequent repairs.

Nice apartment with spacious rooms. Maintenance are friendly and courteous. Office staff needs to communicate a little bit better. Also, office staff needs to sympathize concerns from tenants instead of being argumentative.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! The staff and management don't care about the residents. They drag their feet when it comes to addressing any issues and will make up excuses upon excuses for things not getting done. Maintenance request will be marked as complete without them even coming to look at things. The only good thing is that there are no rodents.

I HATE RENEW WHITE MARSH . They are extremely unprofessional. The leasing office , and the maintenance people are unbelievable. Maintenance most likely will leave the apartment without actually fixing what you called them for , the leasing office is full of rude associates with the exception of about 1 or 2 . My sister's apartment has mice really bad and the leasing office manager laughed in her face about it . No one ever knows what's going on and it's noticeable that employees are told to just act like they know what's going on even when they don't . The only pro about the apartments this year has been just the location of the apartments but I will never recommend these apartments to anyone . The service that tenants receive is unacceptable for the amount we pay monthly. My sister was also threatened by a maintenance man for telling the office he didn't do what he was supposed to to do but he literally did NOT do what he was supposed to do . The maintenance men have stolen from multiple tenants, some buildings do not have working washer and dryers for tenants who don't have that in their apartments. All my neighbors have been outraged all year about the conditions we have been living in . They can't keep a leasing office manger in there for some reason so I am constantly explaining the same things . The experience has been a mess especially after Renew took over . The rude behavior and vile attitudes towards the staff has been so disgusting. PLEASE review these apartments and fix this community by hiring new people that actually know what is going on and not people that are obviously playing the guessing game . I'm so sick of dealing with electric issues in my home , water leaking, the fan that is constantly blowing, and the angry maintenance men . They've created a hostile environment for many tenants and makes people fear asking for them to come in their apartments. It's been talked about amongst all of us the issues we've had with bees entering our apartments through the vents in the summer , and the constant water and plumbing issues as well . We are fed up . This community needs to be looked into immediately .

Overall this is a great community. We do have some residents still not understanding that apartment complexes have to follow the fed laws of marijuana. Have had a few neighbors that would continue to smoke pot that would waft into my apartment. The management does try to remind residents of this, but not much can be done. While the maintenance on items is good, the seasonal maintenance items leave a lot to be desired. They put in old batteries into the smoke/CO detector so you come home to "chirping". Also, my HVAC filter has not been changed in over 6 months, and they use the cheap fiberglass filters.

For the most part, I am very satisfied with my living conditions. The maintenance issues are few and are generally handle very promptly. The facility is well maintained and areas are kept clean and well groomed.

I have really enjoyed living here. Despite the changes in management, the property is well maintained. I have had quick follow ups to maintenance requests and the staff have been polite and thorough. I will continue my lease for at least another year.

This has been the worst 6 days of my life. It started when I received the key 6 days ago and walked into my apartment and was greeted with a leaking ceiling. They repaired the leak and then came out 5 days later to paint but left some of the ceiling unpainted. The night that I received the key I found out late that night that I had no hot water which wasn’t a priority to anyone. During the time they were fixing the water they were informed about the tub being stopped up but continued on walking out of my house so I have been bathing and staying nights at my old place since I received the key. Also a rent due notice was placed on my front saying I didn’t pay my rent and to turn in the key if I couldn’t afford the place and I had just gave them 3700 to move in. I was told to disregard it because the money orders didn’t post yet but the embarrassment was already done. Also I found a big mouse hole under the kitchen sink and have saw a few roaches something that I have seen in years. To add insult to injury the office staff are acting like they are annoyed by the fact that I keep calling to get things in order for a place that I’m supposed to call home. This situation is really starting to take a toll on my mental health that I already take medication for. I’ve actually called out from work from beginning so overwhelmed with my living situation. I feel like somebody took 3700 dollars from me and could care a less what’s going on. If this behavior continues I will have no choice but to seek legal help. At this point I think I should just start searching for a new place to live. It has been to many red flags in 6 days.

The management at the apartment complex is incompetent. Mainly Shalaysia Hemlsey. They frauded courts by saying I failed to pay. I received notices and a court date for rent I had already paid for the month of July. I left multiple messages with the rental office. The property manager, Shalaysia Hemlsey, rudely stated it was a clerical error and that she isn't responsible. Instead of apologizing and offering something to remedy the situation. She was rude and spoke over top of me. She also refused to listen and suggested I call back at another time. I paid my rent as required by law. I should not have a court notice due to someone's clerical error.

I do not like it , the neighbors are nice BUT maintenance take forever even if it's an emergency or they don't show up until you call multiple times . They tell you it's freshly renovated but you end up needing maintenance more than the older apartments. Had field mice, exterminator put ONE mouse trap down. And more ! But they want you to follow all of their rules!

Don't know where to begin. Though the staff here is nice we have experienced nothing but trouble since the day we moved in here. We got in on a special rate that is why as seniors we chose this place and it is very convenient for stores and very close to the expressway for work. The first month we moved in we had horrible experiences with mice and finding two nests of baby mice in here. One was in the closet on the balcony and the other in the long hallway. I will provide pictures at the end. All of my food had to be put in plastic containers because the mice were eating right through paper wrappers and chip bags. We had no air working in here over many summers but managed to stay calm and not freak out. At first I thought no big deal, I'm a strong person and can live through almost anything but being a senior and living with what we have had to deal with over the years does not seem fair. I was told after 4 years we would be getting new carpet. When I asked about it now they told me they don't do that anymore. It only happens once a tenant moved out. We have had 2 floods due to dishwasher issues. This week they turned our air off because they said the lines were frozen and brought in large fans to dry the carpet behind the TV where it was wet. Now the carpet is ripped up there and I'm sure mold will eventually set in. We have diligently paid our rent on time every month and have been extremely patient with maintenance. We really don't want to leave but not sure we can continue living in this apt with all the issues. If you could move us to another location within the complex then I'm sure we would stay. Our lease is not up until December and we can stay here until that time. Once our lease is up I would like for us to be moved to another apt in the complex without issues. Please respond to my request with ample time to relocate if that is an option. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I would be eternally grateful if the complex could agree to my request. It is only my husband and myself in a 2 bedroom apt but we would be willing to move into a 1 bedroom with better living circumstances.

Customer service is terrible. The leasing office has 1 maybe 2 people that actually care to help you. Maintenance will act like they completed a job on the portal but didn't step in your home. When you are concerned for your safety when it comes to disruptive neighbors they will leave empty promises. Rent increases too much on units that need complete renovations.
