Staff are very professional and courteous. The main issue we have is constant breakdown of bathroom vents (without a permanent fix). We have also had neighbors who are constantly smoking marijuana and the smell spreads into our apartment. Some low-income tenants who leave on our floor have poor manners. We see some female neighbors bring shady characters into their apartments at night, and sometimes they end up fighting in the hallways. There are also instances of neighbors playing loud music past quiet hours.

Just moved into the Blair and so far everything has been good. The service is great. I still have not check out a lot of the amenities but the most important thing , at least for me is the maintain service and the neighbor environment. I think it's a great place to live.

I would never renew my lease here. The service is horrible, but the residents are kind. There has been a mold issue that I have reported on several occasions. It is not worth the money. On the other hand, it is convenient when it comes to my job and the places in the area.

My experience was positive. My only complaints are the increases to rent and thin walls. I was constantly woken up by noisy neighbors and outside ruckus throughout my time living at this location. The windows could be improved to be thicker and more up to date and rent could not increase so much.

I've lived in Blair East for about 5 years now, previously in Blair Towers. For the most part, my experience has been good here. The location and price are unbeatable for this area. My only complaint is that I feel the Tower Company has stopped investing in this building over the last year or two. There has been severe leaking in our hallway and increasing humidity and mold growth (to which I'm allergic), and it's never fully addressed. Typically the wall is just painted over until the next time it rains. I'm disappointed with the lack of investment in serious issues. Sadly, I will likely not be renewing my lease next year.

Love the price. Great bang for your buck! The concierge is a lifesaver and I love the fact that it is 24 hours! I can get my packages anytime and someone can let me into my apartment on the days where I forget my keys

Great apartment in a great location close to everything. You can walk to the grocery store or walk to the train station or the bus station. The apartments are beautiful. Most importantly, it is a very secure building with plenty of helpful staff around.

Not a good experience, none of my problems have been fixed like base boards never got painted, blinds are old and got orange rust allover them and yet they still haven't been changed!the list goes on

Overall a great experience. They have amazing community events, some include free breakfast once a month, happy hours, kid activities etc. The maintenance staff is so great. Always a speedy response and positive attitude. The majority of the office staff and concierge staff are great too. Overall, no major complaints here. Neighbors are great and since the building is a little older you don't hear your neighbors at all. Parking does cost some money each month but it's worth it for the area. Overall if I could afford to stay I would.

I have only a couple of days living in the new apartment but so far it has been a really good experience. From the day I got the tour I've been delighted with the staff (really nice people) and the facilities (very well taken care of).The building is very conveniently located, only a couple minutes from a metro station and many bus stops.

The Blair's is very strict and not understanding about payments and policies. I went through a divorce, and nobody would let me out of my lease when my salary less than half way descreased. I called and was 14 days late on rent, and they sent me tons of court notices even after they told me it would be cancelled. There has been someone to try to get in to my apartment when I was not there, and the concierge takes longer than 1 hour breaks in the evening. People park in my spot and security goes to knock on door of the person rather than enforcing towing, but if my visitor is a day late on parking due to an easy mistake, we get a warning. I won't be renewing this contract or recommending the building.

I really like living at the Blairs, however they price students out of the studio apartments. I have found better deals elsewhere; especially, in locations that do not take a student discount away after a one year lease.

Pro: Great location within walking distance to metro, restaurants, brewery, coffee shop. Apartments are spacious. Staff is attentive and courteous. Lots of community events. Con: Have had a few pests, though the apartment has made it a priority to fix the issue and it does seem to have been resolved. Went without hot water in one of the showers (2 Bd/2 Ba apartment so not terrible) intermittently for a few weeks. It was eventually fixed, and I do think the management made their best effort to fix it. My biggest concern related to the hot water issue was a lack of communication.

Schools and access to public transportation. Montgomery County is on the lowest levels of criminally. Walking to Downtown that's great, access to shopping center, restaurants and any activity for family it's great

I love living here, although it is a bit expensive. You are treated like a real human and not just a rent check, which is increasingly rare! Super convenient to metro, grocery store, 24-hour pharmacy.

Worst in last two years. Management is very mean n incompetent they target people and not the problem. No value for the money paid. They must reduce my text by 300$ per month to get equivalent value for the poor services they provide.

Blair East is a great community to live in. Across from the SS metro, and close proximity to 16th st and 495, location cannot be beat. Apartment was great value for size. Management is not responsive to any inquiries about safety or building maintenance. Concierge is great with packages and helpfulness. Maintenance staff is great as well, here within a day! Parking garage door has been broken with no response to fix it. Cars have been broken into with it being broken. No response from management.

Great area for young college students but the windows aren't well insulated and they haven't renovated the apartment so when there are high winds and cold weather you have to bundle up and move your bed off the wall.
