So far, I cant really complain. My only concerns are the lack of cleanliness of the building. While it is a pet friendly community, I don't expect to see smeared dog feces on the floors of the elevators. Recycle bins in laundry rooms are a bit too small or arent emptied often enough. Also, since move-in, I have noticed malfunction of elevators, washer/dryers, printers in just a week of being here. It's a bit concerning what might be awaiting in the future.

Moving into this community has been a wonderful experience. All of the staff are helpful and attentive. I have found everything I needed within a minutes walk. This includes but is not limited to: groceries, the metro (red line), easy parking, nice neighbors, and friendly dogs. I am very happy I moved in! The rent is quite affordable and the housing is spacious.

So far it's been great living here! The location is convenient and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. Price of rent is decent for the area. A little high, but the cleanliness and overall appearance of the apartment is worth it.

The front desk staff and leasing staff are fantastic. The office staff, however, were unresponsive, especially about a serious water quality issue. The dog parks (other than one the size of a small dining room) have been removed, which is disappointing. The air conditioning is not turned on until too late into the summer as they are not willing to switch back and forth between heat and air and the building is on a single system. Finally, the washers and dryers are shared, expensive, and often broken.

Moving to The Blairs has been a fantastic experience. From how close I am to Downtown Silver Spring and surroundings by either walking or less than a 15 minute driving, to amazing activities encouraging a community to get together as neighbors. I'm happy to be part of this community.

Beautifully updated units. Great size balconies. Excellent location: close to public transport, shopping, dining. Great community, amenities, friendly staff. Reasonable rent. Unfortunately, no freight elevator for large furniture.

Enjoyable, but too expensive and pool was closed even though construction didn't start until a year later. Noise from Colesville road was very loud and at times unbearable, although I understand there is not much that can be done in regards to that.

I assume because of management directives, the Blairs buildings and grounds are kept very clean on a daily basis. I appreciate the use of green products used for cleaning. My maintenance needs have been promptly addressed.

Central heat/ac is inconvenient even if efficient. Fitness center is very nice. Ample racks available for bikes. Hard to beat the location - right across from the Silver Spring Metro and just about everything we need is within walking distance.

We arrived to the DC area without knowing much and moved to the Blairs by recommendation from friends. We are extemely happy we did. Management has been great and all the services advertised have been delivered with great quality. The apartment and communal areas are all in great shape, same for appliances offered. The location, walking distance to banks, groceries, metro, bus stations and downtown, has been a great plus for us. We will be extending our lease for sure or moving to another apartment in the same building at least.

The people are nice, but if a repair requires more than regular maintenance can do, forget about it. Generally safe, close to metro; not the worst place I've seen, just not as great as it should be for the cost. The cost for things goes up, parking is not free or cheap, and they recently began charging for visitor parking. It's convenience/location more than anything that you pay for. The concierge lost a package once and it took almost two months to get reimbursed, though the concierges themselves were friendly and trying to help. Maintenance comes pretty quickly. I had one instance where a repair they could've done was marked complete, but wasn't actually done at all, but that also wasn't my usual maintenance person. In dealing with the business office and the leasing office, things were murkier. Emails to the business office were never responded to, and over the course of my time in this community, I have discovered a myriad of things the leasing office was at least incorrect about, if not deceptive. My understanding is the leasing office changed dramatically after I moved in, so hopefully those issues have resolved. My advice: not a terrible place if you can afford it, but if you visit, try to talk to an actual resident in the building you're considering to get the unvarnished truth.

Like this building. Like the gymnasium, hope they will open the pool again. The leasing staff were nice and helpful. The application was approved in no time. The club room tv cable was fixed within 48hours from my notification. I would like to get more foppies. I would suggest to make the existing from the garage to be without a foppy because its taking me time go out of the parking

I've lived in this apartment complex since 2015 and I'm happy here overall. There are some issues with maintenance since it's an old building but I feel safe and generally comfortable here so I stay. The maintenance staff is very friendly & responsive when issues have come up. And it's nice knowing that someone is paying attention to people entering the building. I'd recommend coming by and checking it out. Also, great location!

While I love my apartment, my windows are paper thin. When I first leased the apt I was told construction would only take place m-f and occasionally sat but never Sunday's. All lies. I can hear all the construction noise day/night/Sunday...

Love the access to downtown and the metro. They put an effort into making it feel like a community and have a great maintenance staff. I think the amenities of the Blair Plaza need some improvements and probably need a common room like the other three apartments have. It would be great if they had a rooftop deck, as the views are AMAZING and when we moved in we had a pool but due to construction, that is no longer available and the Blairs haven't made any accommodations to change that.

I was originally a resident moved away and came back. So my experience was always a good one. The only negative for me is the fluctuation in rent increases year to year and also that at times like the availability to amenities isn't as easy as you are told

While the apartment is not inexpensive, the renovated units are modern and attractive. I feel safe living here and walking here from the bus or metro, which is a key factor for me. My neighbors are also all quite friendly and willing to cat sit for each other, etc. I miss the pool, though!

I just moved in but the staff seems friendly and the apartment was in great shape when I moved in. The apartments are exceptionally close to shopping and the metro which were my biggest factors. They also allow pets with no weight limit which is very important to me and my husky!

I've enjoyed living at the Blair's. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Very accessible to downtown Silver Spring and metro station. grocery store is located in on the same property. At the time I've been living at the Blair's, that have been no big disturbances and noise from hallways and neighboring apartments is minimal.

The blairs has been a warm and welcoming community. Towns has a nice, homey feel with the conveniences of a luxury complex via the other Blair complexes. The staff knows me and is always warm, I always feel safe, and the community events are a great bonus. Of course, the location has been great too! I wish I diet have to relocate for school - I will miss the blairs.

Been great so far! Really enjoy living in the blairs, just wish the rent wasn't so expensive. Plenty of opportunities to participate in cool activities, like yoga and bootcamps for fitness, monday night football, and other events. It's really great!

I like living here. The proximity to Metro Red Line is fantastic for me, especially when the weather is bad. I just cross the street and I'm at the station and on my way. Grocery store on site and a couple of good restaurants. Staff is pretty good, but a lot of changes I've noticed. The new people seem to be really focused on improvement with service. I'd recommend The Blairs to a colleague without worry.

I love living here. It is quiet, friendly, and convenient. I like that the building is classically constructed and does not have any faux construction, e.g faux brick facade. It's a great space for our family. I love the views and access to downtown.
