Great area to live in. The building is kept well as well as the grounds. Mostly young people under 30. Pool is good to have along with places to eat/drink in walking distance. Management is great as well.

Excellent location, well-maintained, and affordably priced! I was worried about potential noise when looking at traditional apartment buildings, but it has not been a problem at Elizabeth Square. I could hear the renter above me on the day she moved in - but other than that, the soundproofing is good.

Trying to get in/out of the parking garage is a nightmare, thanks to all the construction. Going up/down Lamar is also a huge pain. Cars parked on both sides of the street, not allowing for 2 way traffic. Super annoying.

The management at Elizabeth Square is very professional and helpful. The apartments are very nice and the location is convenient. It is nice that garage parking, wifi, cable, and valet trash is all included in rent!

I have lived here with a roommate for almost 1 year. The property management here is the best I have ever experienced. They are constantly fixing and cleaning the property. Maintenance is very quick to respond to any issue. The amenities are beautiful and the location is perfect for walking to restaurants, bars, grocery, book store, etc. Only downside is the train. The building itself if pretty solid and quiet - can't hear neighbors. If you have your windows closed and a box fan going, the train noise is not an issue, but for me, I can not keep my windows open at night or it will wake me up. But if you want to live anywhere in Plaza, that is something you will have to get used to. I really love it here.

Very happy at Elizabeth Square! The staff is always friendly and solves any issues I may have. They are always quick to respond and they also send out email updates on anything going on in the community room or pool area. Jacqueline, Ryan, Amanda, and the maintenance crew all rock! The neighborhood is safe and close to plaza midwood, elizabeth and uptown.

The apartment itself is quite nice, and if you like urban living this is a good location. Close to uptown, the commute in is easy and I usually take the trolley. However, the freight train is ridiculously loud and it took me weeks before I was able to sleep more than a few hours a night because it woke me up every time it went by - primarily because it sounds its horn at least 15 - 20 times when it goes by, even at 4 am. It goes by at least once every 2 hours. The amenities are nice, if you actually use them. I don't think most people do. The gym is definitely the nicest I've ever seen in an apartment complex, and though people use it there's always room to work out. I wish I didn't have to pay for amenities like cable and valet garbage, but if you want these things again, it's a nice apartment. Management is really great, and are always helpful and very nice.

I would not recommend this apartment to anyone else. The price we're paying is not worth the quality of the complex. Who needs to pay $1.50 a day to have someone take their garbage out when the trash chute is right next door.

Apartment is exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to about 15 restaurants and bars; 5 min. drive uptown; Independence Park less than 1 mile away; friendly & responsive staff. We LOVE it!

The staff is amazing and very helpful. I have lived here for a year and just went to renew with a new roommate. Instead of making me pay a new deposit for my roommate based on her screening criteria they worked to eliminate the new deposit. No hidden fees and the rent only went up slightly when renewing. I will be living here for a while. Its the only place in Charlotte I can see myself at! I have noticed many upgrades to the facility since I have moved in as well. The apartments are pretty new but they are always making it better. I never have a problem with parking, maintenance is fast, community events are fun and a lot of people go to them. We had a Mexican night with drinks and tacos most recently! I have met a lot of friends living here, always a fun time :) Surprisingly quiet as well, I never hear my neighbors. Many young professionals live here with jobs in uptown banking.

I love the area! Plaza is such a nice location, with the streetcar within walking distance to ride into uptown, and a great bar scene. The apartments are gorgeous with options like large balconies, spacious rooms, and dark granite counter-tops. The staff is nice and friendly. They will send you an email when your package is delivered and take the time to have a friendly chat with you about your day. The amenities are great, they are what you would expect from a high end apartment complex, with some unique items like a hammock in the courtyard by the pool. A few cons are the computer lab has about 5 mac computers hooked up to the printer, but they need software updates to be able to access email to be utilized. Another complaint is the yellow pole exiting the garage. The way the exit is designed is very narrow and you typically need to swerve into the other lane to make the turn. If you take this turn too shallow, you can scrape the right side of your car on that yellow pole. A suggestion for the apartment complex to fix this issue would be to put a foam cover on this pole so once contact is made, there are not immediate damages to your vehicle. The other cons are ones found at almost all apartment complexes (noise can carry through the floor and occasional reports of car break-ins on the roof from other residents). All together, Elizabeth Square is a great option if you are looking for an alternative to the constant party scene in Southend, and want a more relaxed but great location still near uptown.

I've been here for 2yrs and wouldn't change it for nothing. From Neighbors to property management everyone's great. Glad I chose this place as my home from relocating from Texas. Easy connect to uptown and all major highways.

Save your money! There are better options than Elizabeth Square. We moved in right before the summer. Cons: 1) Parking garage is not secured. People follow you in all the time that do not live here. A bunch of cars were just broken in to. 2) There are more residents than parking spots. Be aware if you come home late you will have to park on the street. Especially when it rains, nobody wants to park on the roof, so all the cars back up on floor 1-4. If you live on the 2nd floor you'll have to park on the roof and walk down. 3) On-Going construction across the street. You will be woken most mornings to dump trucks and construction crews. 4) Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors! 5) Pool Entry Gate is always broken / left open and people walk right into the building to hang out. 6) Pool is frat party in the summer, If you are a resident good luck finding a spot by the pool. Spots are taken by people who do not even live here. There is no security monitoring pool use. 7) Resident leave trash outside there door at night as part of a trash service. Halls Stink and cockroaches are visible in trash! 8) Good Luck finding a spot on the bike rack. You will have to store you bike in your apartment. Pros: 1) Location is ideal to work in uptown. 2) Staff is friendly. 3) Apartments are big and roomy. 4) Overall up keep of the building is good. 5) Dog park at the building. Hooray...Though pet fee of $375 is ridiculous 6) They host monthly community events. Overall the building is nice, however for the price you pay there are better options. There are many new buildings in the area. I would suggest looking at some of them first.

I have lived in Elizabeth Square for quite sometime now and overall I absolutely recommend it. The maintenance staff is very friendly and prompt and the building is very taken care of. Ryan in the office is incredibly helpful. Recently there was a management staff changeover with the exception of Ryan and the old staff were a lot more friendly and knowledgeable than the new community managers. If you need assistance don't bother reaching out to anyone but Ryan because you won't hear back.

Staff has done a good job overall, but I have had noise issues with my downstairs neighbor since the day I have moved in. The staff turnover in the front office, not to mention lost records of the individual disturbances/phone calls to security officer, made for consecutive repeated conversations that led to no resolve.

I have really enjoyed my time living at Elizabeth Square. The location is excellent - I can get to Uptown in about 10 minutes by car or I can walk to plenty of bars and restaurants in less than 10 minutes.

Very good and nice apartment living experience except Refrigerator maintenance.. which is horrible. Nice pool and community center. However charge for using the community center for personal parties is not justified. VEry nice pool but the people don't follow rules and keep bringing more than 2 per resident and also keep glass at the pool

This complex offers a great combination of quality apartments, community amenities, and location. Plaza Midwood and Elizabeth are two of the most walkable areas in Charlotte, and also offer easy access to uptown or either interstate for out-of-town travel. Highly recommend!

Life at Elizabeth Square has been great! Beautiful apartments within a beautiful community. The location on the line of Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood is perfect - lots of shops, restaurants, bars, etc. in close walking distance. Only a $4-5 Uber to Uptown Charlotte. The building is extremely safe with key fob access for the doors and convenient parking garage. The apartments themselves are very nice, with stainless appliances, high quality bathrooms, and TONS of storage. Overall, the community is pretty quiet during the week, and weekend noise isn't bad either. Seems to be lots of professionals in the building. I'd definitely recommend Elizabeth Square to anyone moving to Charlotte. It's so convenient to be able to pay online for all but electric in one payment each month, and the staff has been great! Pricing is a little high, but it's definitely a quality apartment for the money - I'm only leaving because I'm moving for work!

I've been gererally happy with Eliz Square. The parking situation is bad, and that's something that has caused a problem twice for me in the short time I've lived there (1 month). The staff is friendly and helpful.
