I am so grateful to be here at this point of my life where everything I need to help take care of my health is just a few steps away from my place call home. I enjoy activities at the clubhouse Yoga Dancing gym water aerobic bingo everyday of the week even church on Sunday and most of all is The connection I have with people my age in the Community. I give GOD the glory for bring me here to Destination Alexander I am enjoying every peacefull moment. Thank you all so much for this opportunity to live here and I would very much recommend it to anyone anytime.

Realizing this is a fairly large community. Dead shrubbery foliage, too many bare areas without rocks are a constant problem. Sprinkler system rates right up there as well due to major repairs needed. Staff is absolutely superb both office and maintenance; always ready to assist.

I have always felt safe here. The maintenance crew are top notch. The landscapers could learn that when blowing the leaves and dirt around to also do the peoples porches as they end up covered in leaves and dirt around

I love living at Destinations. The activities are awesome. The staff is friendly and always gets back to me within a timely manner answering my questions. This location has very nice dog park areas. I recommend Destinations always.

A complex totally designed for seniors, especially those with handicaps like myself. The all one level design of the complex allows all to co-mingle regardless of location. The many activities allow any and all to constantly experience camaraderie unheard of in other similar senior communities. My good fortune to live here.

Hello I've been here over 7 months and it seems like a nice place to live it's quiet clean everyone respectful and nice has a lot of activities to do had to park across the street off Alexandria schools are close by eating places down the street on Craig Road Social Security office not too far on Simmons and and Craig Road Sam's Club not too far away

Getting maintenance done by the on-site maintenance people works really well. The maintenance crew are very friendly and complete whatever is requested of them. Getting maintenance done on problems that require offsite handling is not so good. Takes too long to get doors that are for the ADA residents take too long to get repaired. Also our bus has broken down so many times that some are even afraid to do a trip on the bus. Hopefully this will get resolved as many people rely on the bus for groceries, banks etc..

The office staff and maintenance crew are like family. They actually listen and respond. Not with blablabla, but actual response. If a resident has been unwell, they frequently visit and check up on them. We seem to actually matter.

One thing I like about destination of Alexander is that it’s quiet clean kept up. The people are nice. The staff is nice. The maintenance personnel is nice. It’s just one good nice place to live. If anything should be updated is the blinds other than that everything else is OK at destination of Alexander it’s a great place to live.

I have enjoyed every minute of living here. I have met many friends and the staff is just wonderful. The Lifestyle Coordinator is just great. She has a lot of activities planned for the month, that I enjoy doing. I also enjoy playing BINGO!!.

I really Like it here. They have all around or many different kinds of activities. They have a bus that takes group to many kinds of places, from Shopping Malls, to different eating places, Sports game. etc. I call it HOME. There maintentance people are there when you have a problem. Plus it is close enough to my son that lives 4 miles away, but far enough away that I can live my own life. If u get the point !!! Thank You Destination!!!

My experience has been wonderful so far. I had a few bumps in the road when first starting out. Things break down but maintenance come out as soon as you put the work order in.This is a nice place to live.

My daughter found this place for me. I was living in Newark, Delaware at the time caring for my mother. My mother died in January 2022. My daughter said, "well Mom yiu can feel free to move now". I replied I will visit in November and we can check some things out then. There were 2 other places for me to check out, but I liked All of the amentities at Alexander Destination 55+ the most. I like the quietness, the fact that you can mix and mingle at your own interest. The staff and maintenance are not only professional, but they are also friendly. I especially like that I don't have to leave the premises to get my nails and feet done professionally. I have had my hair done 3 times.

I would recommend this establishment to anyone for several reasons.I will not live above or below anyone,the buildings to me look more like duplexes instead of run of the mill apartments.The most important is being able to keep my dog.

Very nice, comfortable, lots of things to do, very nice pool and hot tub. The staff are very nice and helpful. They care.i like the single story too. Beautiful porch, chairs, workout gym, lots of places to go. Two gardens and a dog park. Games to play, community dinner.

The office and maintenance staff are professional and efficient. Our activities are fun and informative. My only concerns are the lack of our shuttle bus and the constant waste of water by the irrigation system.

We have fixed countless leaks, but we rely on residents to report them promptly so we can address them right away. We will also have our groundskeeping team evaluate the irrigation system to ensure we are conserving water. Regarding the shuttle bus, we understand your frustration. Our transportation service is managed through a third-party company, and we are working diligently with them to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Your input is invaluable as it helps us improve our community, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
