I moved in 2022 from Dallas, Tx and I have to say the staff has only gotten so much better! This year they even recognized my birthday, that has not happened before! The community itself is peaceful!!

Kindly explain all the terms like what kind of utility accounts we need to take to new lease members. Even though they are on the lease sometimes we may miss as it's not same to all communities. Like in my case Oklahoma natural gas account , before this I lives in spring creek of Edmond of same management community for 21 months but we don't have that requirement. But here we have that and no one told us about it when I signed the lease. Because no lease document say clearly what kind of accounts we need to take. After 4 months I got to know about it after I observed constant violation charges on my ledger. When I asked the same thing they said it was on lease document and that's my responsibility to look. I know my responsibility but you guys should know your responsibilities as well . You guys are sitting in leasing office not just for fun. Can't you guys have time to explain what kind of utilities we need to take care of. The leasing members in Windrush are very rude and unprofessional. I am having worst experience in this community. Please don't repeat this to future residents.

I have found whilst renting hair if anything needs fixing it is quickly reconciled for the price of the apartments. They need to be updated with quality products, it's a very quiet place to live. I think windows and doors need looking at, but other than that great place to live.

WORST APARTMENTS

I feel it necessary to share my experience to caution others. Having resided at the Windrush apartments for three weeks, I have submitted a numerous number of maintenance requests, totaling over 10. The apartment has had multiple leaks, causing damage and rotting under the sink. Furthermore, the vents are severely clogged. Unfortunately, management and maintenance appear to be satisfied with merely patching up the issues. It is evident that the well-being and satisfaction of tenants are not a priority for this establishment. I strongly advise potential residents to explore other options to save your time and money.

Overall, the community is great. The office is kind and understanding, and many of the tenants are respectful and clean up after their animals. I appreciate that it is a pet-friendly residence as I love having my cat there. It is clean and beautiful. Overall a great place to live.

Everyone is really nice and when you need something they get on it and make things right. And really there is not a lot that goes wrong they are great. Only thing may sound stupid is with the floors being tile there is no buffer between the apts and if the people have dogs on the second floor it sounds really loud to the ones on bottom I wish they would have kept the carpet on those apt so it would not be so loud with the dogs running around and barking

The process of moving into Windrush was smooth, effortless and clear. When I first walked in the office to apply for residency and information about the apartment complex, I was greeted by a familiar face from a sister property (that I actually liked, but the wait list was too long). I felt comfortable working with this representative of Windrush. He made me feel like a valued member of the community already. He helped me with the application process and move in process.

The community is great, the neighbors are polite, the landscape is impeccably maintained, and the management has been awfully patient and kind to us. It's in a decent spot, being close to broadway, so I'd honestly say that it's an ideal apartment for someone on a budget.

I am 84 years old and I really don't use all of what the apartment offers. Pool, tennis courts, basketball, and the gym. They also have community events throughout the year. I think it is a great place for families.

windrush has been a great place to live. not too much community based besides some holidays, but besides that the amenities are amazing. it's always clean and the sun shines just the right way here!!!

Extremely unsatisfactory! The managements do their best to make the life of tenants more difficult. In my case, I couldn't move in to my apartment for one week after the date I was supposed to move in due to the renovations that the management had done to the bathrooms in my apartment. They charged me for the week that the apartment wasn't ready to move in. I was also locked out once and the management refused to send someone to open the door for me. Extremely rude and unprofessional management. Stay away from this apartment complex.

Office staff lied about things being fixed (main property manager), maintenance often fixes things half way, the property often is not cleaned of dog poop and trash, the office staff and maintenance are nice, I just wish things were more efficiently fixed

Glad I stumbled on this little gem. The office staff is really nice and the maintenance guys are really cool. It's close enough to walk to some restaurants and you can just sit and relax within the complex.

Very surprised at the high quality of this apartment complex.

Possibly moving to a smaller residence so my husband and I decided to see what is available in Edmond. This complex fits the bill for us. Everything was clean, well maintained & quiet. the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I am VERY disappointed & feel cheated! Since moving in 3 months ago, I have been forced to document my renter's insurance coverage TWICE. In each case, the online system was NOT user friendly and appears to be setup to force you to pay TWICE as much for their insurance coverage (which in addition to coverage I ALREADY HAD. . . means I paid THREE TIMES AS MUCH. . . AND the process required FAR TOO MUCH TIME. It really feels like the abuse of a consumer. . . and I will probably file a complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office and the relevant federal agency. THEN we can talk about the NOISY 15th Street traffic. . . and the poorly maintained & limited green spaces that have so much trash that it is an eyesore. The apartment is also extremely noisy: almost any movement in the apartment above can be heard. As I said, VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Not the best apartment

We moved in back in February 2024 and signed a lease for 6 months, and during this 6 month period we had the worst experience with the management and the apartment it self. We lived between 2 apartments that the smell was so bad that to this day nothing has been done about it except a verbal warning was given to them. For the first few months my husband worked over the road which was a good thing because if he had came home and went to take a drug test he would have failed it(mine you he has a CDL/ HAZMAT). There was times that I had to go to a hotel because the smell was so bad and believe me I used all kinds of deodorizers. When I would call and leave a message since no one answered the phone, I wouldn't get a call back it was either a text or email. The manager that runs these apartments is worthless. If the smell was during the day when I returned home and the office was still open I would go get the person at the front desk (as the manager was never there) and have them come to the apartment to smell for themselves. We had to have the maintenance come over and fix the dishwasher as it was holding water and he told us it was not put in correctly that is why it held water and didn't drain. The oven only worked when it wanted to, you never knew if your food would cook correctly or be over done. The sliding door and bedroom window leaked really bad when it would rain and the depending on which way the rain was blowing the water would come through the front door as well. They said they fixed it but didn't. And the rent we paid for this apartment was not worth it. So unless you are desperate for an apartment I would look around before you settle. As we were moving out the smell was still there!! I would like to give kuddos to Stephanie as she was the only one that was really helpful during our stay at these apartments.

Maintenance still hasn't fixed issues reported on day 1. Wasnt given my keys on time according to the lease. And the the neighbors dryer blows into our apartment through our dryer causing lots of heat. My utility bill is now $50 higher than word by the leasing agent here. Furthermore, I'm being charged for wastewater as part of my lease AND being charged by the utility company for wastewater. Not sure who's getting that money, but I'm paying it.

Very efficient maintenance team always responsive and friendly. The office staff is very thorough although maybe a little shortsighted depending on the situation. The building themselves are older but they are well maintained for the most part. Although I think we may pay a little much for our 2 bedroom 2 bath due to the age of the buildings, the maintenance team makes it worth it. Overall our almost 2 year stay has been good. Except for the occasional obnoxious neighbor. Edmond is a safe area especially this area around the apartments especially considering the price. We are also 5 minutes from a fire station and police station. I would rate the time here 8/10 overall. The Office team I would rate 8/10. The buildings I would rate 7/10. The maintenance team is 9/10. The area is a solid 8/10.

Your apartment will smell constantly of cigarettes and nothing will be done. all of your clothes and furniture will permanently smell. Things thrown together and repaired haphazardly and lazily. You will have a bad time, especially if your IQ is over 55.

I would not tent from this complex again. The apartment was filthy and only partially ready for moving in. I have had to submit more work orders in the 7 months than for the past 6 years at our last apartment. They only half fix things just enough to say the work orders are done. Look carefully at the actual apartment not the model before you sign the lease

Honestly at this point I would like my rent decreased due to all the bs we dealt with on moving in. Was told apt would be cleaned upon move in, but it was filthy so I spent about 2 weeks trying to Scrub the walls and clean the kitchen, the stove was caked in grease. Stove was also broke to ---- and the front right and rear right burner still doesn't work properly and sparks if you slide a pan on accident. Water heater has had nothing but issues with constant leaking and flipping the breaker so we wake up and go to shower and now we have cold water on random mornings. Front door was not sealed correctly, I could see daylight all around the door. Had maintenance fix it and then still had to put my own money into fixing the door. Sliding door didn't have any seal to it. Master bedroom still has busted blinds from prior residents. Had to pay to get floors steam cleaned to get rid of the funk in carpets. Maintenance is great about putting holes in the wall to repair things but will just screw wood over the hole instead of fixing stuff properly. Now I can't split my rent with my roommate like we've been doing (on time) every month (like you're supposed to do) Mass punishment only hurts responsible parties. Apartment isn't bad other than floor creaking all over most likely due to age and/or water damage. Prolly needs the floor redone and electrical outlets need to be fixed too (some are sketchy) Office folk are nice
