I like living here.
I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and only had a few problems. The Maintance man was right over. There are a few problems everywhere you go and anything can happen. But take it from me, you will love it here. The fitness center package is awesome.

My neighbors are very friendly and always willing to help.

If you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to live, you found it.

I like living here. Sometime the service man take a while to get to me but he is always nice and does a good job.

The parking lot is kind of dark though. When I come home late it can be kind of spooky.

Overall, I am pleased.

Service Stinks!
We hauled all our stuff up here on our scheduled move in day and when we walked in, the maintenance guy (who is creepy looking) was still in there painting. There was tons of stuff not done, and we had to take everything back home and bring it back 2 WEEKS later! VERY IRRITATING!! Maintenance never comes, and our air conditioner has been broken since we moved in! After a $200 a/c bill, they told us they had been quick fixing it, and they knew it was going to be that high b/c it was leaking!! They agreed to pay $30 of it!! They never do what they tell you they will, and they always tell you what you want to hear.. They´re slogan is, "Consider it done at Windrush" HA! NOTHINGS EVER DONE HERE!

Lived here since ´92, not bad.
I have lived here for nearly 12 years and have been pleased overall. Being that I have rented for over 20 years I should think that I know what I am talking about. I have had to call in maintenance issues and sure sometimes they get behind, but I have always had emergencies taken care of promptly. As I have been reading some other comments on different complexes, as well as here, it seems that everywhere has their issues and the bottom line is what complex makes you feel at home. The staff has always made me feel at home here and I will stay here until they kick me out. Just a bit of advice from an "old timer".

Worst place ever lived
Pool closed several times over the summer with no explanation. Pool opening late, closing early, only one gate (out of four) opened. Gym closed early on many occasions, no explanation. Amenities kept open only when staff feels like it. Portions of staff with bad attitudes, lax service. Lack of security, some vandalism, broken windows, cars broken into. Had to make repeated calls to have maintenance supplies (paint, brushes, etc) removed from apartment. Electric burners do not fit stove. I could go on.....

The worst management/place ever lived
I have lived here for 8 months and still have not had my screen door, windows, bathroom tile and air conditioner. It took a day short of a month to fix my dryer and had to pay over $60 for my laundry to be done. No reimbursments or anything. I have had the staff be extremly rude on the phone and in person. Like they are better than me. I have lived all of over the states and this is by far the worst. Cars have been broken into and the glass has been there for weeks. No lights in the parking lot or by the mailboxes work, even after bringing it to their attention. The show apt looks really nice and the leasing office, but look around the complex, there are no landscaping like the walkway to the office. The appliances in the show apt are new and the ones we have are old and needed to be replaced. I just was extremely disappointed because I heard this was a nice place to live.

I live in a one bedroom apartment and it is pretty nice. Maintenance has alot of staff changes so sometimes my maintenance calls take a little while. Overall, I like it here and would recommend it. Also, the train is kind of annoying but you get used to it.

Nice place for the money
I have lived here six months and so far everything has been good. There are quite a few college students here, but they are respectful to me and my son. Don´t hear a lot of noise like I expected and the office staff is nice. The owner seems to care about the complex because we are getting new mailboxes and pool furniture, and talking to my neighbors I found out that every year something is done to update the complex.
Good
I live in a two bedroom and the only thing that I would change is the size of my living room, it is kind of small. I do have a good size kitchen and big closets though. Also, I like that they put new carpet in for me and gave me a package of chips and cokes and stuff on the day I moved in. I really like the girls in the office, they are very nice.

Very nice staff
The staff that works here is so nice. They know who I am and my apartment number when I come in. They always have snacks for me and my friends. I have only had to call in for maintenance once for my garbage disposal and they fixed it the SAME DAY!! I really like it here.

Love the fitness center
The fitness center is AWESOME! Nice equipment in a clean environment. The property always looks nice and its quiet here. No potholes in the parking lot. The owner really cares about the property, you can really tell when you live here.

All the activities you can think of!
I´ve lived at Windrush for 1 year. I have never been more happy with my apartment and the neighborhood. Everybody here is so friendly. They have a raquetball court, volleyball court, basketball court (indoor and out), tennis, fitness center, pool, and a hot tub. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR!?!?! Windrush is definately the best place to live in Edmond (especilly for the price.) You should take a look for yourself!

kara

I like my apartment
I live in a two bedroom and have since 1994. I just love the way the kitchen is open to the living room. I also like having a washer and dryer for free. I have visited some friends at another complex in town and can´t believe how much the owners have let their property run down. I will stay here until I can afford my own house.

Great fitness center
I have to admit that the main reason I moved here is for the fitness center. It is very nice. I also like the indoor basketball court. The office people are very nice as well. Everything is great!

I like it here.
This is a nice place and the staff is really nice. The property is kept free of trash and always looks well manicured. New clubhouse and fitness center is also nice.

Very Charming
I am so impressed with the service that I have received here. This is the first time I have lived on my own in 20 years, and I don´t feel nervous at night when I walk to my front door. The whole property is well lit and there are no pot holes all over like I have seen at other complexes. I am very happy here.

NICE PLACE & PEOPLE
This complex has the nicest people living here and the nicest apartments for what I pay. The people that work in the office are so nice to me and my daughter. (They even shared their pizza with us!) You should check this place out before you move ANYWHERE!

I don´t think that I have been to a better complex in Edmond. The people that work in the office are so friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my water heater and the manager gave me her cell phone number just incase I had any problems that evening. Most of the time you never even see the manager!! I know that she is busy, but she makes me feel at home and welcome here. One of the maintenance men lives on property so I know that any emergency I might have will be taken care of quickly. I will stay here until I can purchase my own home.

I won´t be moving around.
I have had the best experience living here and was encouraged to come this site and post my experience. I came from another prperty in Edmond and had the worst experience all around. From maintenance to the office staff.. it was horrible!! So ehn my lease expired I moved here. I have had the best treatment from everyone. The manager personally contacted me on my move-in day to be sure that everything went well. Alot of the staff live on site so I know that they take pride in their work. It is the nicest place in town. Look around and you will see for yourself. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Fun place to live!!
I just moved here about 3 weeks ago and I feel like I have made the best choice. The cool thing about living here is that it is like having a membership to a new gym for free. I like the fact that I can play basketball indoors and outdoors. I think you should really come see this place to believe it!! You won´t find a better place to live in Edmond.

The best apartments in Edmond by far!
Windrush offered me and my husband the best apartment home in Edmond. The staff that works on the property daily is so awesome. They keep the grounds perfect and I love the fitness center. Far better than any other fitness equipment I have seen at a apartment community and its FREE! I did have one problem with my garbage disposal but they fixed it before I came home from work. Most importantly they didn´t leave a mess. I refer Windrush to my co-workers.

beautiful place to call home - excellent service!
Windrush is the nicest apartment home I have ever lived in. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The staff is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The clubhouse is great for people who want to stay fit and healthly. My daughter loves the playground as well.

I have lived here for 6 months and I like it here. I moved from another complex in Edmond and the serivce here is so much better. The office staff is fun and helpful. I enjoy visiting with them. I love the indoor basketball court!! The only issue is the hours that the fitness center is open. I would like for it to be open later than 10:00 p.m., but at least the equipment is nice.
