Most of the time it has been a fair and average experience for a rental. It is generally a fairly quiet place with the upkeep and overall appearance satisfactory. Schools and parks are not too far away.

I have not been pleased with the communication with the ladies in the office. When I first sign the rental agreement things have changed, they will never return phone call or answer the phone if I need help with anything or to ask questions about rent or work orders. They are not the nicest women after you sign your lease contract. They were nice when I looked at the property & my lease but after they are rude and will never return phone calls or answer any question. I think they are hey by commission so after they get you in to your apartment they are pretty much done with you. Like you are not a priority or you do not exist. The apartment is nice but something need to be fix and it's a long wait for anything to get done. The maintenance guy is very kind and tries to fix the problem and get things done as fast as he can but he is the only maintenance guy on the property. We have a indoor basketball, sauna and fitness room that are all inside where the office is but I can't get the code to get in because the office ladies will not get back to me with the code so I have been living here for 2 month and still don't have access to those. I don't understand why you have to pay 15.00 a month for insurance when it only cover the apartment and not your thing. I don't understand why I have to pay a pest control fee of 4.00 a month when they should be responsible for the property. I had the ONG turn on for the day I moved in but they were not able to come out to hook it up until the 4th of August and my move in date was 7-29-20 they changed me 6.00 in service and 50.00 for service fee. They never told me that it was not turn on in till my rent was due 9-1-20 so I called ONG to find out what happened and they said they could not get someone out till 8-4-20 but would back track my bill to 7-29-20 but the office pei say I still need to pay the bill that they sent me till ONG fix it after I sent them a letter from ONG saying they would fix it so now I still have to pay the apartment the fee and then they will credit my account for next month. I just don't think that is right considering OMG sent me a letter saying that they would correct it and so I sent it to the office but they will not accept it. They are so rude and not understanding at all. I'm happy with my apartment once everything gets fix but I'm not happy about how the office treat you as a person. I'm still waiting for them to fix the tiles that are not attached in the bathroom, the refrigerator will not close all the way and it stays open so all the cold air goes out and it runs Non-Stop. I have been waiting for those to be fix for a 2 weeks

From what know , I like the people around the area they are very trustworthy and nice . As far as the living space I think it's actually pretty roomy for two adults . The outside I think is where it should get it most glory because of the nice patios !

It was the worst experience i had we had nothing but issues with maintenance crew not fixing our appliances at all since we moves in also dealing with the other issues as well wveve always had issues landlord slapping late fees every time we turn around even though we paid it always

We have had a fairly negative experience at Windrush apartments. When we initially moved in our apartment was full of smoke that got worse over time. When we were let move to another unit our price increase about $40 a month because it was a "nicer unit". Shouldn't all the apartments have breathable air? The "package receiving service" is no more than a tiny closet into which boxes are thrown into with no care they or order. It is not locked and there is no sign in sheet. I'd feel safer if my package was at my door than in that open closet. Another big problem with these apartments is that they tend to turn off the water for periods of time without notifying residents. I can't count the number of times I've gone to wash my hands or take a shower to find there is no running water. This isn't infrequent either. Maybe once or twice a week at least it seems like. One time it went off while our washer was running and almost broke the machine. If the water must be turned off so frequently, the least that could be done is a simple email to the apartment complex giving 5 minutes notice. Smells travel bad between apartments as well. I can't count how many times we have suddenly had a weird smell in our apartment that isn't ours. Anything from cigarette smell, to a weed like smell, to someone cooking dinner. If you are trying to get in contact with the office staff via phone or email, good luck. They rarely have the decency to return an email unless it benefits them to do so. The one good thing about these apartments are the maintenance staff. They are super friendly, fast, and helpful. They do brighten your day if you get a chance to interact with them.

At first we thought we would have a bad experience, but the experience got better. A lot better. The maintance service has improved a lot. We thought there will be mold, and bugs, but we didn't experience any of that.

I have lived at Windrush for 10 years and really enjoy the community and area. Maintenance was very prompt and the service finding the problem with the leak under the kitchen sink and replacing the Garbage disposal was great. The office team and the new maintenance team are so friendly and helpful.

The only thing I will say is that they sometimes notify resident when the water shut off. I love that they do events for kids. I wish they do more for adults. This place is right area everything is close by.

I haven't had any issues since move in that the staff hasn't seen to right away. For as busy as they are, I appreciate the quick service. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The only big issue I have is how loud it gets with children screaming outside.

The staff has been very kind and has answered all my questions. However, I did not feel that my apartment was fully inspected before I moved in. New floors were laid prior to my move-in (yay!), but the appliances were not "reinstalled" properly (Dishwasher, washing machine, etc.) and I'm still waiting on maintenance to fix them - even though they told me items would be fixed within 72 hours of my move-in. Also, I was told the fireplace was gas burning (and the "show room" I viewed had one, but upon move in I realized that the gas to my fireplace has been sealed off and cannot be used. Also, there are some discrepancies between the lease agreement and the reality of living there - though they told me an attorney would be helping them translucency their lease soon. Overall, I like the apartment so far and dealing with the staff has went well, but there are some imperfections in the process.

We are just moving in but the service we have received has been above and beyond. Our unit isn't "move in ready" as of yet although the community has everything possible to meet our needs and have exceeded our expectations.

I'm currently living at Windrush and it all seems nice when you move in but that's about it. The Staff isn't very friendly after you sign the lease, they bait and switch appartments, they didn't clean the place well before I moved in, and the actual place isn't great. The Fridges they bought are dirt cheap (as the maintenance crew explained to me) so they are loud and rickety, and that goes for the Dishwasher that doesn't spit water half the time, and the dryer that doesn't dry. The place is also falling apart and the maintenance crew has a high turnover rate, that requests are going unchecked for months. The actual maintenance crew is good and friendly, but you rarely get help because the office staff doesn't communicate anything down to them often. Overall the main problem might be in the office staff because they seem to be paid off of commission only (not saying they are but they act like it), because once you sign your lease they don't care about you. I tried paying rent two months early (which any landlord should love) because I was out of town when rent was due the next period and they said it wasn't allowed. I know this is a long complaint, but I did my time and not renewing my lease. You will see in my rankings that they are good in some aspects, however I would say buyer beware.

The maintenance team is always prompt and very professional even on weekends. The management team is nice and the over all community is good. Only complaint is though the building has been updated the appliance havent been so they break down but the maintenance fixes them promotly so never have to go without them for very long.

Overall experience was good. The complex is pet friendly without a doubt. Parking is not scarce. The area around the complex is clean. Only complaint is that it is almost impossible to get someone on the phone!

This apartment complex is the least kept up with out of all of the apartments I have lived in. For one, for the first 3 weeks or so of summer the pool was closed for some reason. On multiple occasions the lock on the gym door wouldn't work after hours so I couldn't get into the gym. I had told them about this lock repeatedly. From the beginning we were lied to as we were told we would be getting a stone fireplace but we did not. The water is shut off at random times throughout the day with no warning and the workers act like they know nothing about it and can't get you a solid answer of how long it will be until the water is back on. The lights in the parking lot and around the tennis courts do not work. The outside of the apartments look trashy most times. Cars get broken into and things are stolen often. My roommate got her window busted in over night while living there. The lock on our door was broken and it took a total of 2 hours for maintenance to get there and fix the lock before I could get into our apartment, and this list could go on and on.

Awful, would never recommend that anyone live here. The rent is too high for the old buildings and the lack of maintenance and care. They had a fire in the unit next to my husband and I, and they almost charged us rent for the seven days we were homeless because we could not live in the apartment and they did not have one available for us to move in. And they tried to charge rent when my insurance was taking some time to get items to clean etc.

Nice place to live and raise younger children. I would not recommend if you have older children. There are no parks close they can go to and hang out. Maintenance always does a good job. Nice place to live if you're new to Edmond and you're looking to brach out.

We moved out of these apartments 4 months ago. 2 days ago we got an email saying that they are sending us to collections because we still owe $400. They never called, emailed, or attempted any contact in that 4 months to let us know we owed anything. In addition, they only sent the email to my wife and not myself even though I'm also on the lease and they have both of our emails and phone numbers. The best part is that they claim it's for unpaid rent when we moved out on March 8th. We already paid our last months rent at a pro rated amount as the lease stated and we can prove it with bank statements. When we paid, their resident portal showed that we owed nothing. Since we received that email, they have ignored my emails and calls. I can not stress enough not to live in these apartments. In addition to the above issue, the apartments are falling apart. Our carpet was stained, we had small holes in the wall, our door looked like someone had tried to break in, the balcony had loose boards and creaked, the stairs outside were loose and were never salted in winter, our floors creaked no matter where you walked, we found stuff the previous tenant had left even after the apartment had been "cleaned" (dishes, socks, a literal pile of dryer lint almost as tall as the dryer), our hot water tank, heating, ac, washer, and tub all had to have a work order placed for them while we were there, water kept getting shut off with no notice, our neighbors would play instruments and sing until 2 in the morning (we had to call the police multiple times because the office would do nothing and I worked at 6 in the morning), and people would never pick up after their dogs. If you are considering this apartment complex, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

Brook, Tim and the maintenance team have been wonderful and helped make our move in go so smoothly. Great community to raise kids in!!! The schools are excellent and there is tons of stuff for the kids to do in our area.

Staff is a revolving door. With that being said, still have yet to encounter someone who is genuinely kind, except maybe the exception of Brooke, but Brooke has been dishonest at times. Communication is a nightmare. Good luck getting ahold of someone over the phone! I've even resorted to email, to never get a reply back. Maintenance is terrible and rude. We've put in the same requests at least twice, just got them to be ignored. It's been months. Just overall, very unhappy here.

I had problems from the beginning and although they slowed down, I knew that I would not be renewing my lease. I would not recommend this apartment to any friends. I think management can improve, the cleanliness around the community can improve, and the maintenance could be quicker with requests or even fulfilling them at all. And the units REALLY need to be updated.

We just moved in, and already having several issues. Kids aren't allowed to play outside and they complain that we've had to much traffic and noise when we're still moving in, I guess you aren't supposed to have visitors. You're supposed to pick up your animals poop, but I guess this doesn't apply to office personnel. And office personnel is able to be as loud as they want in their apartments banging on stuff all day and even at 4am.

Community has improved significantly, maintenance requests are responded to substantially faster and overall appearance of the area has improved. Value is good for the area. Main downside these days is reckless drivers in the parking lot.

Don't move here. New management sucks and dont fix anything. High turnover rate for management and maintenance team. They dont answer. Management need to communicate with tenants. Nothing gets fixed when you put in a request
