Great tour and leasing support

We recently were given a tour by Ashlee and she was very upbeat and knowledgable. She took her time sharing numerous options in our price range along with the amenities. She was also very supportive during the application process. It made us feel confident when she told us she would help us the whole way through the process and even be there on the day of move in!

Wonderful maintenance team

My experience has been wonderful. I don’t want to tell a long story, I don’t have a long story. My stove pilot was fixed and it was a great job. I can’t seem to get out of this screen. ,tho. I wish that you wouldn’t give a 200 character count as a minimum. I don’t have a long story.

The exterminator said that maintenance would be coming by to fix a hole under my sink that rodents are possibly coming through before he starts putting traps out. Instead, my maintenance order was closed and I was sent a survey.

Alden Park has a visibly active staff/personnel team. The landscape is welcoming no matter the season. Considering having to share living quarters with other members of the public, privacy is respected. Hopefully our own individual private estates will be bestowed upon us. Until then, Alden Park is a worthy option.

Very bad roach problem so many issues dogs popping INSIDE elevators slow and always out of service constant water shut offs and so many hidden fees that they don't tell you about when you sign the lease

I love the swimming pools, parties, pretty lobby, helpful staff and beautiful grounds and garage. The Maintenace, painters, Security, Exterminators and office people all have helped me. The residents are real nice.

Overall, the property is maintained adequately, though there are noticeable areas of chipped paint on the doors and trim, and the hallways would benefit from refreshing. During my three months here, I've frequently observed dogs off-leash, and the parking lot gates are often inoperative, requiring use of the call button for entry

Pest control

I saw a mouse on the night of the 17th and submitted a maintenance request for pest control I was told someone would come to by apartment on the 19th. The apartment had someone in it all day and no one came from pest control.

A new toilet was installed while I was out of town and it is dirty, the walls and the base are dirty and they left their breath spray on the bathroom floor. I’m not sure what is on the base, it looks like it may be some kind of sealant

The architectural details of these apartments are without comparison.Unique and spacious ,hard to find in other apartments. Gated walking paths for my pup and an indoor pool that looks like old glamorous holywood.

Love this place!

We loved this building and the grounds. Such beautiful architecture and character. We are very excited to hear back about our application. Seems like a lovely place to live and grow. Very pet friendly, and the amenities are amazing.

Alden Park has a great vibe and is set in a great area, lots of green areas, great people, hiking, shops are close by. The company itself is greedy and takes from the residents, if your late for rent (even just once- you could live here 10years) they immediately start eviction proceedings and charge an almost $450 fee!!! With all the usual corporate jargon and lies thrown in to justify why. There is a fire alarm that goes off regularly that is so loud, I mean beyond anything you have ever heard; it has Actully damaged people's hearing and caused tinnitus (constant ringing) in residents ears. There are also thieves that live here, it's bad to a point where if you have a parcel delivered to the lobby of your building you have about 3 minutes to get it, otherwise it will be gone. This includes, groceries, pizza, mail?.ANYTHING!! Peoples car windows got smashed and broken in the parking lot up to 5 times last year, just a mass smashing of car windows that occurs. Of course Alden will say the cameras were not working and they are not responsible. Even though we all pay almost $40 a month to park outside and have security drive around and magically not see anything. Security guards are hmmmm, everybody has their own private thought on that ???? They are always here when the break in's and car window smashing happen but somehow never see anything. The people who work in the leasing office are always changing, they come and go, everytime they have a little attitude, and buy into all the corporate bull until they are suddenly gone and some other little minion replaces them. So they layout is nice but there is definitely a lot of problems which seem to be increasing all the time.

Fire alarm goes off too often. Maintenance issues are resolved pretty quickly. I don't have any major complaints. They removed our trash daily from the floors. I've been here 3.5 years and ive seen one mouse no roaches thank God.

I only have one complaint about this facility. I continue to put in work orders because there is no hot water in my kitchen. Other than having to heat up my water on the stove or in the microwave, this place is great.

Henry was great as always! Professional, efficient and pleasant. He arrived, got to work and the issue was resolved. We are highly satisfied with the maintenances staff. Being able to request repairs is simple and the response is very quick.

In the six months I've been living here, I've seen car windows broken, had five packages stolen, and the fire alarm has gone off seven times, three of them in the middle of the night. The buildings are beautiful, the neighborhood has excellent trails for hikes, but unfortunately I don't recommend living here, especially if you have young children.

A great place to live. Alden Park has an indoor heated pool and a hot tub, gym, outdoor pool. It is quiet on the floor that I live on. Also, there is an elevator as well as a freight elevator. The only thing that I have issue with is the package room.

Alden Park is definitely worth the money, however it is in no way how the marketing team wants to describe it - luxurious. There are many issues and the people who run it can definitely be very bad at communicating and fixing problems, but I've felt at home here and plan to stay here much longer.

Love the location, size of the unit, green space, amenities and the style that the place has. The walls are nice and thick which keeps cross unit noise down. Unfortunately it is kinda falling apart and maintenance isn't keeping up. Expect fire alarms to go off in the middle of the night half a dozen times a year. Utilities are quite high. Security is lacking, there have been number of incidents, It needs to turn into a truly gated community where entry is controlled.

AP has gone through numerous changes since I've been here. More bad than good. However most recently it has been good! The recent staff has been much more receptive, attentive, and engaging to residents. Subtle improvements like redoing parking lines has been helpful.

For my fellow residents and neighbors- everyone is very nice and welcoming. I haven't had any issues with neighbors or pets. Staff and management- I've had my fair share of issues with management. For one, they mistakenly forgot to provide me with a parking sticker and after being here for 6 months- they decided to randomly check and tow my car before work. Even after hours of trying to reach a common ground I was still charged the towing fee and ticket. Also, I've had issues of not being able to locate packages due to the format of the package room. If you choose to visit- please go see the room for yourself. It is very cluttered, disorganized, and frustrating. Another issue I've had with management is maintenance. AC not working in the summer and constantly shutting off, a mouse in the apartment due to a hole under my sink- that they never came and fixed they just placed traps. I keep my apartment fairly clean and this isn't my first apartment- so having my first mouse was ridiculous and shocking. In light of recent snow- their way of removing snow is faulty. They clear the streets- sure. But all of the snow gets pushed behind the vehicles and parking spots- thus trapping your car in with ice behind it. So far, I've had a pretty quiet stay other than this but if I knew this before signing my lease I would've looked elsewhere.

This is a very old building kinda historic so it has nice architecture. Some new amenities like two pools, sauna, gym, tennis court and if you have a dog it's a dog park. I find the apartments to be spacious.

Alden Park is a nice apartment complex that comes with pros and cons typical of an older, grand property. On the positive side, the amenities are excellent the pool is beautiful, and while some gym equipment is a bit rusty it will get the job done, but I've heard the sauna has been recently fixed. The maintenance staff is highly responsive, they address requests and attempt to fix the problem the very next day. The security guards are helpful and professional. The property grounds themselves are well-cared for. However, there are significant issues residents should be aware of. Parking is horrible; if you arrive home after 9 PM or 10 PM, you will likely not find a parking spot. Security is questionable as far as getting into the parking lot; the app for the gate rarely works, and the gate itself seems ineffective, meaning anyone can easily enter the complex. A major recent concern is package theft. I have lived here for two years without issue, but I have recently had several packages stolen by a current thief, so I strongly suggest residents do not have packages sent to the apartment. Finally, as it is an old building, there is an issue with mice, although I have not seen any since using a plug-in deterrent.

I am very thankful to have been allowed to stay here at Alden park, I renewed my lease. Since we have gotten new staff I have seen some changes and I am hoping that more will come. The only thing that worries me is the increase on the rent prices
