Parking is a nightmare. There is not enough for the amount of people that live here. Amenities are nice and grounds are well kept. The management does not care about you or your problems with living here.

    I'd make sure you do your research before you rent at this complex. There are a lot of administrative fees and move in fees that are needed prior. Most of which do not go towards any future rental payments. In my opinion the units are overpriced for how small they are.... unless you are willing to spend a ridiculous amount on rent for a temporary place to call home. The gym and pool are a nice feature although some of the equipment is outdated and the yoga mats look like something ate half of all of them and left them there for dead. Embarrassing for a complex that charges so much money for things but doesn't keep up on little maintenance. There does seem to be water/leaks/plumbing issues. I haven't had any in my unit although the gym bathroom was completely flooded for a few days which was disgusting. There have been multiple notices sent out about leaks as well. Parking can be difficult to find at certain times but I will say they do a good job with making sure non residents are not parking in the lots. The noise levels here can be high... I can hear all of the dogs barking and can hear doors slamming on and off throughout the day. The walls are thin. Overall I'd say do your research. If you are looking for value for your money I'd keep searching. I hate not be able to give the complex a great rating because I thought in the beginning it was a great location and the buildings are deemed historical so it had a cool feel. After being here for a little I'm disappointed overall and I won't be renewing my lease. Good luck and happy searching!!!

      I have lived in the apt since Nov. In the begining I was very happy to hear there was new management. I am finding with the new managment there is a lack of follow up. I was told by the old mgmt company I would have new carpet installed. I show up to move in 5 day after the start of the lease and they are still working on changing the locking and cleaning the apt. I then go into the bedrooms and it is the old worn out carpet. It was not even cleaned or let alone vaccumm. I spoke and emailed numerous times with Shelia the mgr. She said she would follow up in emails and have someone come and look at it. NOTHING!! The expectation was set that I would have new carpet. We are now into the month of FEB and there is still no resolution. Monday I sent another email and have yet to hear anything, so this is what I have to resort to. A review. I am very annoyed and frustrated by Shelia and team lack of customer service. Just dont have high expectations if you choose to live here, they will not meet them.

        The apartment management is TERRIBLE!!! I live in the Kenilworth building and we were without hot water for over 1.5 months. The management never returned any of my phone calls or physical complaints. I hate it here and cant wait to move out.

          plumbing is a HUGE issue here and no one seems to care. The staff can really handle and most seem as if they stayed out all night them show up to work... not very professional in one's opinion. I've been lied to more then once by their staff members about very minor things but I'm not sure what would be the point of give me the run-around?

            The new management no longer accept rent payment by checks but rather forces you to pay through an online portal that adds 2.2 % to both rent and utility bills.Also, water fees has more than quadrupled since the new management came ! Why do I need to pay +60$ for water when I used to pay only 15$ for the same apartment last year ? This is unethical.

              DO NOT RENT HERE! I moved 8 months ago and I am not renewing again. 1. Fire alarm goes on at any time of the day and the NIGHT. Nobody is doing anything about it 2. HOT WATER. At least once a week I wake up with no hot water (and they also shut off water in general frequently) 3. GATES are always open, random people walk in everyday 4. They change management every 6 months with of course new rules 5. NOBODY cares if you have maintenance issue. 6. OVERPRICED Do yourself a favor, do not rent from them.

                I don't even know where to begin with explaining how terrible this place is to live. Please look somewhere else if you're looking to move. I moved in, in June. Had fire alarms CONSTANTLY going off, all times of the day and night and had 0 explanation for it. In july, I woke up to having NO running water all day until about 4pm. When I went to use the bathroom my toilet overflowed and flooded my whole apartment. They had huge fans in my apartment to the point I could not function or stay in the apartment. They wouldn't reimburse me. They didn't fix the flooring in my apartment for 3 months!! Mind you the water shut offs happen FREQUENTLY. The sewer water ended up backing up into the apartment. There are leaks all the time. and management does not care. you can email and call all you want and they're so rude. The gate to the apartment complex has been left open for days so anyone can walk in or out. Management doesn't seem to care about that either. There are cockroaches in the laundry facilities. Fire alarms that go off at random times of the day and night. Just because it's an old building does NOT mean there should be this many problems. It is miserable and unsafe here. Do not rent from here.

                  Alden Park is an ***overpriced nightmare***. I moved here 6 months ago, as a college student, and have had nothing but terrible and rather UNACCEPTABLE experiences ever since. First of all, when I moved in, there was some kind of water leak/ mold growth in the corner of my wall and ceiling. I have now reported it 3 times and even had someone come look at it twice and NOTHING!! No one has done a single thing to fix or even help this serious health hazard. The 'Walk- through' was --------, after I stressed to them how my wall has LITERALLY been falling apart and is obviously covered in mold spores, they have not followed up once. The 'renovations' are also --------, when my apartment was being re-done, it is OBVIOUS they did not even clean before re-painting the bookshelves and walls because there is hair and dirt visible all underneath the paint. We have had leaks in our floor which have not only warped the floorboards, but also ruined about $300 worth of my shoes. I have even had floorboards come up where I can clearly see it is improper flooring (I come from a home-inspecting family). The fire alarms go off several times a week, especially during the hours when people are sleeping, and do not go off for 30 mins- an hour. And to make matters worse, they are the most ear- piercing, loud and obnoxious alarms I have ever heard in my life. Now lets get to the GOOD STUFF!!!! The -------- scam that is going on between Alden Park and Siani towing company. My first day of my new job, my car, which has a PERMIT IN THE WINDOW, was TOWED OUT OF MY OWN APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!! Needless to say, not only had I missed my first day of my new job, but I had to have my parents drive 3 hours to Philadelphia because Siani would not release the car to me since it wasn't in my name. $250 and a scary trip to this ------ --- towing company later, one of the men working for Siani literally TOLD ME that they basically are scamming tenants and towing 30-40 CARS A NIGHT!!! That ALDEN'S OWNER CALLS THEM TO TOW US!! What kind of pathetic apartment complex wants to cause this upset and stress on their tenants???? I have talked, personally, with at least 15-20 individuals whom have had this same experience and even more who were starting a petition. Also, the people who work for this place are rude and ignorant. When I had confronted them about the towing situation, Siggy, was so unacceptably rude and walked away from me as I was talking to him. If you care about your time, money and save living, do NOT invest in Alden park. The security is never around, the pools are always dirty, the gym is never cleaned, I could go on forever. I am beyond disappointed with Alden park in every aspect. I was very eager and excited to live here as a student, and paying close to $1200 a month for a 500 sq. ft. STUDIO apartment, I expect my apartment and all of the amenities to be top of the line, this is farthest from what it is. Do more research, don't settle for Alden Park.

                    Please be advised, nearly every negative review here is written by the same person. I happen to know this personally, but you can also tell by the language style that's exactly the same in most of the negative posts. Plus they all talk about the same specific staff members, the name of the management group, etc. Most residents in a place don't know the name of the management group. This person was late on their rent, got disgruntled and thought they would lash out here by trying to make it appear as if many people are unhappy with these apartments. It's just not the case.

                      This morning I woke up and there was no HOT WATER!!!! This is the weekend before Xmas u get up and then you find out there is NO HOT WATER!! Thanksgiving we had NO HEAT!!! I reported it to ---- and all she could say is "i'm Not Maintenence". I saw a Maintenence guy who finally told me and the rest of the assembled residents by this time, that the boiler is broken and that it will happen again...well great!!!!! Don't move here, there is not enough parking for tenants, they will tow you. The garage is available for 40.00 dollars but the lights are out making it a unsafe environment, Maintenence has been notified about the lights out in garage sense THANKSGIVING!!!!! Also if you decide to move here ask to see the elevator that you'll Be using It's also the elevator for trash and garbage and it is so small you won't even be able to get your sofa in it. There has been 3 property managers and 2 management companies!!! Do your homework . Before getting sucked in by the lobby and pools!!!

                        If you're giving this place 5 stars, you've probably lived here less than a month or you've been lucky enough not to deal with the staff at Manor. I thought Lincoln was bad, Ram is at a totally different level. They only took over about a month ago and managed to anger more people than Lincoln ever did. At least Lincoln never messed around with my money. First off, all of a sudden we can't pay with checks anymore. Everything has to be done through the portal. Next, they're trying to charge a one day late fee of $80 when it clearly states in our lease that a late fee is $50. Now I can't be sure what terms other tenants had signed onto when they moved in, but I have my lease and it does NOT say $80. I walked around the building Saturday night and there were late fee notices on more doors than I've ever seen. I'm just guessing but it probably has to do with the fact they changed the way we pay. Read your lease people, it doesn't say we HAVE to use the portal. It says they can ask for one check, money order, etc. instead of multiple, but it doesn't say we have to use the portal. Don't pay these people anything more than what you owe. If you're reading this and are thinking about moving in, just don't. The apartment looks appealing at first but quickly starts to fall apart. I'm paying over $1,300 for a one bedroom that was beautiful the first few months but slowly started to fall apart. Appliances breaking, wooden floors popping up, cracks in the ceiling spreading, cockroaches coming through holes in the wall, and fire alarms constantly going off at all hours of the day. Plus moving in will be the worst day of your life lol. As soon as you sign that lease they don't care about you anymore. Don't waste your money.

                          Not happy, Without heat all day on Thanksgiving!!! This is the 3rd time in 8days with no heat/boiler room issues. Maintenence comes up sticks a thermometer by the vents and tells me it will warm up!! This is a unsatifactory way to run a Maintenence shop, and paying consumers!!! Save yourself the trouble and don't move here!

                            The building outside looks pretty but the management is awful - I would NOT recommend living here. After living here for a year I have never seen so many issues that were lead by an incompetent management staff --- At one point the fob key locks to get into the apartment BROKE and everyone was locked out of the apartment buildings. No one could get in, management did nothing to tell residents that they might get locked out, and residents were left to prop the apartment doors open with rocks so they can still get in...... Maintenance left a huge hole in the back wall behind our oven after doing service. They never sealed the hole and after finding an initial mouse and the hole, I stayed up to watch the area and we found 5 mice in the apartment as well on TOP of the kitchen countertops.. We reached out to management/maintenance MULTIPLE times over serval weeks to fix the issue and seal the hole and they still haven't..... The staff is usually uninformed on basic operating procedures of the apartment and are unhelpful... They created a pool pass system at one point, informed none of the residents about it, and than would throw residences out of the pool for not having a pool pass they never told us about... They changed their rent taking online portal, never informed residents, and I had to run to their offices to give them a check days because they shut down their online payment system... They TOW cars in the parking lot because they seem to have more residents with cars than they have available parking. Parking in the 'gated community' is an absolute mess... Most neighbors I have talk about this place usually call the staff incompetent and want to move within the first year... During our apartment tour they showed us the nice apartments, lobby rooms, and pool areas but hid the laundry rooms for instance which is an utter disgusting mess... Mail room usually has mail thrown all around the floor. Hallways are usually dirty. Gym equipment and floors I feel have never once been clean. Trash is usually overflowing. Residents leave entire couches, shopping cars in hallways.... I had to hand walk Comcast cable around the basement of apartment KEL because apartment staff wasn't on hand to tell us where our internet cables were. We had to run through a maze of wires to find our cable in the basement..... This place looks nice on the outside but is a complete disaster because of incompetent staff and I would highly recommend looking at other options.

                            DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Alden Park is one step up from Section 8 housing. Renovated apartments with mice and roach infestations. Common areas of the building such as stairwells and basement are extremely dirty and unsanitary. Basement floods every time it rains which is horrific when you need to walk to the laundry room or garage. Tenants smoke marijuana and the smell lingers in the hallways. Dog waste bins are barely emptied and people just throw bags of dog feces on the ground and grass. Apparently there are no breed restrictions. Residents have huskies and pit bulls that they don't always walk with a leash which is frightening. Don't expect to have heat or hot water during the winter. My heat is constantly broke and I have to take cold showers almost every morning. Packages are thrown on the floor in the mailroom for anyone to steal. The new management company has recently illegally towed cars not only in the parking lot but in the garage where people PAY to park. Alden Park is a nightmare!! Do not move here or you will regret it!!

                            I don't even know where to start , the building is old of course but that wouldn't be a problem if the management would have been more responsive. There is no way they reply to emails,voice messages, nothing. After you sign the lease you're dead to them. To be in Germantown they are crazy expensive and they change rules (for utilities ) every six months. We signed up for a lease with 25$ water+sewer and now (after only 2 months from the signing) they change rule and now we pay almost the double. The management and property change every 6-7 month, guess why... Every day there is a "emergency" water shutdown, fire alarm goes on every day (the worst is during the night) for no reason. Do yourself a favor, do not rent from them.

                              I am confused my many of these comments! I just renewed my lease and really have enjoyed my experience. The negative comments about the construction won't affect you if you Work a full time job. Amenities are amazing.

                                THE WORST. No real security and concierge will tell you to call the cops yourself. Maintenance never fixes anything. Broken HVAC units that haven't been fixed in months. Resident that throw trash outside. Management is terrible and does nothing to improve the building. Luxury ------.

                                  I Love my apartment home. The entry, the fireplace, the new double pane windows, hardwood (engineered) floors, the paint color (gray & white), and crown molding trim on ceiling. O, my leasing professional - Alex S., she's the I'm not a carpet girl but love the carpet in the spacious bedrooms. Love that I have a half bath, too. Glad they kept the old charm in the master bathroom, it's octogon floor tiles. Two HAVAC systems, one for each side of my 1442 sq. ft apartment home. Yes, I've read the reviews, and Alden Park is nothing like the previous years reviews beginning with 2017 back.

                                    This property is well maintained especially for all of the pets that are in the building. The building has a fresh smell and the grounds are clean. I love the communication from management and updates. I feel well informed about the community and updates. Everyone seems very friendly. We live on a very quiet floor. We have not had any issues and I don't foresee any major ones. This morning when I went out, the walkways were cleared and salted for our safety- I love that!

                                      ALDEN PARK DOES NOT HAVE THE AMENITIES THAT IT OFFERS. I HAVE LIVED HERE SINCE SEPT 2016 AND WAS MOVED TO ANOTHER UNIT AND STILL HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS! THERE IS EITHER NO WATER, NO HEAT, A COMBINATION OF BOTH, AND I WAS ASSURED THAT THE FIREPLACE WAS INSPECTED ONLY TO LEARN THAT IT WAS NOT! THE FIRE ALARMS CONSTANTLY GO OFF AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY, SO I CAN NOT WORK FROM HOME! THE SO-CALLED "management" ARE PATHOLOGICAL LIARS ! THEY CONSTANTLY LIE - ---------------- AND ---------------, AMONGST ALL OF THE OTHERS, ARE THE WORST; INCOMPETENT, DISRESPECTFUL, AS WELL AS UNPROFESSIONAL! I PAY MY RENT ON TIME AND IN FULL AND THEY THINK THAT I AM SUPPOSED TO BE CONTENT WITH LIVING IN A PLACE THAT IS UNSAFE AND WHERE THERE ARE NO SPRINKLERS IN CASE OF A FIRE! I WAS CONNED!                                         BEWARE OF LINCOLN MANAGEMENT If you're considering looking for a place where you know what to expect don't look here. When I first moved to Alden Park I loved it. We were under a different management and I felt things were pretty well run and I felt valued as a resident. We had weekly activities, happy hours, fitness classes, it was truly high-end living. Then Lincoln took over--- It started with losing all of the community activities. I thought that sucked, but was hoping maybe they were working on replacing them with their own. Then came a grammatically incorrect sign placed in the elevator telling people to remove their doormats and anything in the hallways by tomorrow or they would be throwing them out. I felt sorry for those who were away for the weekend because they did not have sufficient warning to respond. What I thought was most strange was that they gave no reason or explanation for the change. Was it for renovations? Is it now considered a fire hazard? Will we be able to put them back? Nothing. Just a poorly written demand and a threat if it wasn't answered to. Now it gets real- they just completely changed the parking policy. Only 1 car allowed per apartment and you now need to pay for visitors! what happened to people who had 2 cars? Being able to park 2 cars was one of the reasons I moved here. Now I'm paying for visitors??? What kind of bs is that?? Now at the same time they changed the parking policy, they've also changed how utilities were billed. It used to be a fixed price, but now it's some crazy allocation so if someone else likes to run their water all day guess who's paying for it?? Yours truly. Construction? That's also now on the residents. I can't imagine how much my bill will be changing, and the truly scary part is I have no idea how much it will change. It could be anything and this wretched company has forced me into paying. Now all of this borderline questionably legal changes were sent on paper dated December 1st, but were not delivered to us until the 12th. This is what you sign up for if you move here.                                           It is a construction zone here . They are always making noise and they work on sunday. There is never any peace and quiet. Do not rent here! It's. A total joke. Why don't they finish construction before allowing people to move in???

                                            I moved here in May. I toured the property before I saw reviews, thankfully. After I toured and saw the reviews, I was skeptical, and to be honest, I was worried. I was moving from an apartment complex that definitely deserves a 2. However, living here for almost 6 months, I am confused why people give this place a low rating. Yes,the rent is higher than other places, but I think it's worth it for everything it has to offer. I moved into a renovated apartment, and I have zero complaints.
