The townhouses are very spacious and the maintenance is always quick to respond to any issues you may have. Very close to shopping and entertainment. Designated parking for all of the units is also very nice, especially during inclement weather.

We moved in recently to the complex, Nov 14, it's been great so far. This town house is spacious and renovated and the area is super quiet. Maintenance came quickly after putting in an online request and corrected our problems right away. The only thing we dislike is the location of the mail boxes.

A terrible place to live and rent. The apartments are old an run down. The apartments have a terrible smell to them. Be prepared to put dryer sheets or some sort of air freshner in your vents when you have the air and heat running. I am also concerned with a mold problem. We have hardly run our air all summer because of the smell and head aches caused by when we do run it. Water just sits in the air conditioning units which is absolutely unsanitary and can make people sick. You can hear everything going on and the people next to you. you can even smell what your neighbors are cooking and know when they are turning on their water. Broken appliances, Water damage to floors. Office Staff is Terrible. They will act as if they are super nice and will take care of their residents and then as soon as they have you locked in it is the complete opposite. Maintenance is Terrible as well. You have a better chance of fixing whatever is wrong yourself, otherwise you will have to make multiple requests before you get the issue addressed.

Not a bad place to live. Moved here after transitioning back from NYC (originally from York). Neighbors are nice and friendly for the most part. Maintenance folks are fantastic. Grounds kept very nice. Apartments are clean and rather spacious compared to other communities.

Wouldn't want to live here for too long
I've lived here for two years now, and I would have left already but I'm going to school in the area and this isn't the worst place to live, but it isn't the best either. Management isn't terrible, but they aren't good either, when my current roommate moved in rather than saying "Oh you forgot to sign one paper" they charged us each month for not being on a lease, never telling us. The only reason we found out was when the charges got high enough they sent us a pay or evict notice. Just not the best way to handle the situation, they just don't ever really notify you of anything, I've run into similar problems like this every year. Onto the apartment, the walls are thin and because of this, this weird echoing happens so that when the person above me has their tv on, when it isn't even that loud, it sounds like its blaring to me below them. The windows are equally thin, especially the sliding glass door, when the wind blows you can see it bend back and forth. There is also no consistency with the how the handles are and lights are in the apartment, the handle on my toilet is a bronze brown and everything else in the bathroom is silver. The light above my dining room table is a chandelier, but some are fans, I've yet to see two of the same. If something breaks they replace it with whatever they have left. But they are fairly quick. They paint is chipping everywhere, touch the walls and it will leave a mark. Its wall to wall carpeting and expect the carpets to get destroyed, without even spilling on the carpet marks appear, and I'm a fairly clean person. This isn't a terrible place to live but the longer you live hear the more and more you begin to hate it here. The grounds aren't that terrible, the only really bad part is when it snows. While they do deal with all snow removal the guy who does it is extremely dangerous. I've never seen anyone drive so fast while attempting to plow snow. Many times I've seen hit almost hit cars, and if he hit them with as fast as he was going they would have no chance.

Nightmare
The worst place I have ever lived. The management in this complex (if that is what you call it)are the most ignorant people I have ever endured in my life, the neighbors are just as bad. This problem alone will make you hate living here. I could go on but it's not worth my time.

Definetly do not recommend
Not a place I like to call home. Second day I lived here the hot water heater went out, they came and "fixed" it in 30 seconds. Next day it went out again. The bath tub leaks and the shower head leaks behind the wall. Electric is through the roof so don't plan on using much heat or AC. Neighbors are loud and obnoxious. Management spy on their tenants and take pictures of things they don't agree with, like a kids toy on your balcony or a dog getting fresh air. So don't be suprised if you open your door and theirs a picture of your sons toy and a long note saying that is prohibited. Management is horrible and snotty, very unorganized. Trying to over charge saying we haven't payed rent for 3 months when in fact we have receipts. And don't get me started on the ants. Stay away from Rolling Hills, I can't wait for my lease to be up!

The maintenance men are nice and get their jobs done, but you have to deal with the snotty people in the office to get to them. The noise is absolutely ridiculous.

I had a very good experience!
I stayed at Rolling Hills for seven months. It was well maintained. I never had to call maintenance for any issues. My building was quiet. My neighbors were nice. The setting of this complex is very nice. I felt safe! The heating and a/c units had been recently replaced as had half of my appliances. Nice closet space and room sizes were more than adequate. Management was fine==anytime I needed something (pool pass, etc), I got it.

We enjoyed living here.
We have enhoyed living here for the most part. We have always had very good experiences with the maintenance. Our unit is very quiet and roomy with many closets. A very nice neighborhood in a good school district.

My only complaint would be with the new office staff. This complex has recently been sold to Sawyer Realty. Sadly, the "new" office staff seem pretty overworked which means they generally do not even have time to look up at you and acknowledge what you are saying when you speak to them. If you do actually get them to speak to you, they generally either do not know the answer to your question, or are very rude and abrupt in answering. You get the feeling you are "the enemy" and not the reason these people have jobs.

Overall, I would recommend this as a great place to live. As long as you only need limited interaction with the office staff, you will have an enjoyable living experience.

don't walk... Run Away
All the ant you can kill, poor parking, poor dranage (water lays in puddles around the property and heating and A/C that will empty your wallet. This place is under new management and I only hope the new group is better than the old. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

I have lived here for a little less than a year and I can say it has been a overall decent experience. The rent is reasonable and I have had good experiences with the maint. when problems do arise. They just resurfaced the entire complex and they keep the grounds well maintained. The pool is nice and there is 2 really nice playgrounds for kids within walking distance.

worst experience I've ever had with a property mgt company
This was a nice looking community in a pleasant rural setting but the property managment company was the worst! I wanted two days to make a decision but was told that I would give up the free security deposit and $500 off first months rent if I did not sign that day, so I did'nt get a chance to look around. Promises of a level space overlooking the farm were not kept. Initial maintenance requests resulted in further damage to the apartment, and subsequent ones were so frustrating I stopped making requests. Requests had to be submitted in writing, no phone calls please, and were then transferred to a form, misdiagnosing the problem. Notice had to be given on the first of a month for a two month period, every other two months. It would be possible for a tenant to have to pay for four extra months for a badly timed decision. Rent was increased $50 -$100 dollars each year, $50 more if you don't sign up for the year lease. They charged me on move out for items written as damaged on move-in, (and never fixed by maintenance despite my efforts)and submitted the wrong apartment invoice for carpet. Amount owed is still is dispute but they are threatening me with legal action and charging interest, legal fees.

Horrible Experience
The staff at this complex was wonderful, but the main office at Town & Country were horrible. I asked for a record of a legal paper I sent to them and they lost them. The staff at Rolling Hills was backing me up 100 % but those at Town & Country were horrible. I would recommend Rolling Hills only if you plan on doing everything on your own. They charge you an arm and a leg to live there and then charge you even more if something goes wrong. They have maitanence men who lie about doing work they never did. I would never have lived there if I knew everything was a LIE. They talk everything up until they get your MONEY then everything goes downhill.
