Apartment was unclean at the time of move-in. Dead bugs everywhere, pet hair all over carpet, unclean kitchen and bathroom, poor-quality repainting including but not limited to overspray and painted fire sprinklers and alarms. The cleaning was eventually taken care of with my supervision, but really soured what could have been a good move-in experience. Apartment units are poorly insulated, so prepare for a sky-high electrical bill thanks to always-running heat in cold months.

Overall I am satisfied with these apartments. Kroger, and stores like that are close by. Workout center is good, but has some broken equipment. The pool looks great but I've only been here during the colder months. Overall I am satisfied with this place

We have only been here for a few weeks, but really like the property. Plenty of room for grandkids to play, lots of trees. Everyone here has been great from the office staff to the maintenance staff. Really like all the storage areas in the apartment.

I have only been living at Colonial for a few days, but I have had a great experience so far! I do wish there was more lighting in the outside hallway near my door, it is very hard to see at night to un-lock the door. The overall look of the apartment is great!

I rented my apartment long distance and have not yet occupied the space. I anticipate moving in early 2016 and every dealing I have had so far has been very efficient. My sister lives in the area and she has handled my on-site needs and feels the staff both in the office and Charlie the maintenance man have been wonderful to work with.

There is basically no maintenance staff at this complex. I've had a water leak in the wall from the washer. Called it in and it's been 2 weeks. Sheet rock is still wet. This place used to be the best but the quality has really gone down. Too bad because I've enjoyed living here until now.

Rent has gotten very high for the area. The complex has unfortunately became a less safe area. The security gate on the right side is old and has problems occasionally. Still, it's a good place to live.

Overall good, details overlook when prepping our apartment for our move in, felt unfinished amd rushed. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Packages delivered to front office are organized and easy to receive which was one of our biggest complaints with our old residence.

Nice community, great pool area. Great location in general. There is a lot of open space for activities or for your pet. Pretty good gym. Girls who work in the office are always nice. Great Maintence turn around Wish they did more things for the residents i.e. Breakfast, sundae party etc.

This is a very nice, quiet, and well-maintained property. It is conveniently located within DFW, and close to major roads. At the same time, there is a lot of green area being very close to the large park system in Bear Creek. A good value for the price when you look at properties in nearby Grapevine. I love it here!

No matter how clean you keep your apartment, the red ant problem here is beyond crazy!! They are all over my bed, toothbrush, toilet seat, pantry, tub.... Omg, I am so traumatized!!! They need to take better care of this complex and hire someone to get rid of this problem! I bought a NEW, UNOPENED bag of bread and it was covered with these red ants... I've never seen anything like this in my life... Everything here leaks, there's dog shits everywhere, you can hear upstairs like crazy, they take long to come fix the issues in your apt when you report it, the biggest girl(she colored to brunette) at the office is the rudest. Can't wait to move out

Good overall i wish they would get the walk thru gates fixed with some type of locking mechanism at the 1200 fuller wiser road location and also there should be a limit of vehicles you should have here they are alot of taxi cab over at building 16

We decided to rent at Colonial because of the central location. It is near by to shopping, gas stations, convenient marts, parks, and also a really nice dog park. We also love the lay out of our apartment and the wrap around balcony with a nice view.

Overall a good experience. Rent goes up a lot each year. Only complaint really is that the gates aren't always shut. Seem to de rail often. Or the perimeter gate doors are left open. Office staff is very nice. Maintenance is quick to respond and fix.

The maintenance staff, under "TONY and JUAN" has been exceptional, as well as most of the administrative staff. Quite neighbors, and the area si always clean, except for the occasional dog droppings that are not pick up. One of the BETTER places to live!

We have had a great experience living here! Everyone is the front office is friendly, and always willing to help. The maintenance team is extremely professional and always fix things within a day! It is quiet, safe, and convenient. The amenities are better than most apartments. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for! We love it here!
