My cousin lives here and told me what he thought. I've visited at The Pines numerous times and am looking for a smaller place to live now that the children are grown. There is a waiting list but I'm on it and plan to move here in 2 months.

It's really nice here. Quiet. Landscaping is mature and well maintained. The office staff is helpful and friendly. Maintenance is above average and knowledgable. Only moved because I got married. Recommended.

I love this community because the staff goes out of their way to make you feel like you belong there! They go above the call of duty to make sure your experience is unforgettable and pleasant! I rush home everyday from work because I can't wait to unwind and relax!

I have lived here at the pines since 2016. I lived in a 2 bedroom with my dad, and recently moved into a different 2 bedroom with my brother. So far I'd say it's the most stress relieving experience ever! The office staff is so very welcoming and nice. They make us feel so at home. We live in a town home, 2.5 bath- it's beautiful! The area is very quiet. We get along great with our neighbors who seem to have lived here for quite some time. We have never had any issues to report. Overall I am just thankful to call this place home!

This community is very quiet and safe to live and if you're looking for a place to call home before you own your own place stop here. You will be very pleased and happy to call this place home.

I LOVE this community. It is absolutely a hidden gem. The grounds are always kept clean, and the staff is awesome! I would recommend The Pines to anyone! Diane, Debbie and Wes moved mountains and made miracles happen to get me moved in so I wouldn't have to get a storage. They are awesome!

My husband and I recently moved into the Pines of Palos Verdes and we love it. The apartment itself is spacious with a good size kitchen and plenty of storage space. The community is small and quiet, located in a nice neighborhood with a gorgeous park within walking distance. It is also less than 10 minutes from Town East Mall; close enough for convenience, far enough away for quiet. We have lived in quite a few apartments over the years and have never met a more accommodating staff. Diane has been an angel since day 1 when we looked at the apartment. Not only did the location and atmosphere sell us on the property, but so did Diane. She is willing to go above and beyond for her residents. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet place to live.

I moved here with my girlfriend and my daughter this past March after looking at many other apartments in and around Dallas. Most were not affordable and the locations were often less than ideal. After living here for a few months, I can say with absolute certainty that I made the right decision for me and my family. The Pines is an excellent apartment complex, Debby and Diane are awesome managers and the maintenance staff are prompt and professional. I can honestly say that there isn't better bang for your buck when it comes to The Pines. If you're looking for an affordable place to live that's close to Dallas, is safe and family-friendly, and not noisy at all, then give The Pines a good look, because I know for sure you won't be disappointed.

We recently moved out in May, but I had to review this place because we had such a great experience living here for almost 6 years! As many others have said, it is a very quiet complex hidden in the midst of a safe residential neighborhood. There is an elementary school, a middle school, and a park with a (very) small but pretty lake all within a mile or so. Plus the Town East shopping district and Broadway Blvd in South Garland are a 5 minute drive way with anything you could ever need. Being so close to two major interstates makes this location convenient for traveling downtown or around the metroplex, but it is far enough away that freeway noise can't be heard (except perhaps for the occasional siren). The complex is definitely older, but maintained well. Wes is by far the best of the maintenance personnel, he always goes above and beyond in getting a problem fixed the right way with a good attitude. The same goes for Debbie and Diane- they are polite, helpful, and genuinely care about the residents. My wife and I and many of the longer term residents (some have been there for 10 or 20 years!) keenly felt the family-like atmosphere of the Pines. In addition to all of these great features, it is incredibly affordable, especially when compared to the exponentially rising housing costs in DFW. The management will do all that they can to work with you on the price and the yearly rent increase, but they are constrained by the decisions of the owners, who in my opinion are quite cheap and terrible business owners. However, this is the only genuinely negative thing about the Pines, and the residents feel little of the effects due to Debbie's extraordinary skill in property management. We miss this place for sure!

We love it here at The Pines Apartments! It is quiet, tranquil and everyone is very friendly. The staff and maintenance are super fast at solving any problems you might have. It is also very kid-friendly here! The pool is amazing, very well kept and there are parks within a 5 minute walking distance. Couldn't ask for a better management and maintenance team. They are soooo sweet! They are always going above and beyond. I love the POOL. very nice and large with different pool areas to swim in, my little loves it too. I am very lucky to have found a two bedroom town home that i can afford. A true Mesquite hidden treasure.

Before moving in here about four years ago we were told how we would like and enjoys living here. We have not been disappointed, everything we were told about the complex is true. Couldn't ask for a better management and maintenance team, they have always met our needs as we have requested. Living has been wonderful and at this point has no intention of leaving.

I have lived here almost 1 year. Nice and quite neighborhood. Neighbors are super friendly. Ladies in the office are always so nice. Maintenance keeps the property and apartments up to date. I haven't had any issues here. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. We love it here. It's a great place to call home knowing you feel safe and secure.

This is a nice quiet, small complex tucked away in a nice residential area, and I love the pine trees. Staff are very attentive and friendly and look after their residents well. Apartments and grounds are well maintained, and maintenance staff are very nice and prompt about taking care of any needs necessary. Nice community here. Good neighbors. Haven't had any issues since I moved here.

We have lived here for 5 years. It's so hard to leave! It's a quiet complex & the people in the area & office are friendly. Might not have fancy bells & whistles but everything you need is right here. I would HIGHLY recommend this complex. The layouts are great b/c living spaces don't really touch other appartment living spaces (so it makes it where you can't hear others). The "new" appliances aren't my favorite but they are so helpful if you have trouble with anything. The trees & Park close by is a big plus too. I think this is probably one of the safest appartments in the Mesquite area. We will miss this place!!

It is very quite, and the rental office has been remodeled. Diane is very friendly and helpful. Debbie is dismissive and rude. The parking lot is awful my shocks and struts have been damage because of it. Parking is horrible. They remodeled the rental office but have not updated the apartments. The carpets were dirty when I moved and I told Debbie she swore they were clean but there were not. Dog poop in the grass because there are huge dogs there. This is not a luxury apartment complex but the prices are out of control.
