PEBBLE CREEK RANCH APTS - SUGARLAND
Just wanted to give feedback on my Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 move & movers. Luis and the other mover (forgot his name??)...were ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!! They were on time, both so very respectful and kind. They handled my belongings as if they were the most valuable & precious items they had to move. They worked diligently, from the time they arrived (on time) to the very end of the allotted 3.5hrs, without complaint, or even so much as a break in between---though, my end destination was 3 flights of stairs UP ...to my new apartment!!!. VERY PROFESSIONAL gentlemen and great representation of Ameritech Houston, as well as Pebble Creek Ranch Apts (Sugar Land)!!!!. People are so quick to complain, but rarely give feedback when the experience is good (because we anticipate a good experience, typically.) My experience was, quite frankly, EXCEPTIONAL! As I make a professional living in Customer Service (20 years, now), it is always at the forefront of all my experiences (what went well; what didn't work---ohhh, try again, "cupcake" and what should be improved upon). The Staff (Nola, Jason, Jacob & Maint. Crew) are clearly focused on providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!! No surprise that Jason (ACM) was named Leasing Agent of the YEAR 2011. My apartment is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Planned right down to the most finite detail. Less than 10mins from work....it's a win-win all the way around. Life is good!. Thanks PCRA!!!

Great Price and Location
I just recently moved into the complex and have found that it has been a great expierence so far. They moved me for free, gave me a good price on my apartment and were very polite and friendly. I recommened a co worker to live here and recived a $500 check from the property! Maintenance is good and its quiet.

BIG MISTAKE!!!
The upstairs neighbors are so loud its crazy, it has been going on for 6 months counting the days when I get to move. Office turn over is high, and they are rude. Save yourself do not move here.............dryer is broken they are slow to fix, refrig leaks water they have tried to fix twice still leaks...police always at the complex for something WTH.

Feels like home
I have lived here almost a year and getting ready to sign a new lease. I love it! The staff every one of them from the office to the maintenance crew are wonderful!! The few times I have need repairs the maintenance crew are there right away. The property is clean and well kept. My neighbors are all very nice and yes I can sometimes hear them that is called apartment living. I have had no problem with crime. We have an officer who lives here and walks around and you see him. They have a wonderful CARE family that plans actives for all ages even adults. They send out calendars and updates so I feel I am part of a community and not just a complex. I have lived in lots of apartment and these are the best! If you want a home move here.

Bitter-Sweet Experience
I lived in this apartment for 1 year, the apartment managers all acted nice to me until i had my foot in the door. It was very sad ending experience for me that after living here for 1 year and with excellent record of payment, I moved out 1 month shy of my lease term. While trying to negotiate the last months payment managment played hard ball with me, and right now even though I have finally paid them they are still hitting me with penalty charges for 1 month late payment out of 11 on time payments. They even went as far as ruining my good credit with the bureaus.

Great Stay!
I have lived in these apartments for a little over a year now and had no problems. The one time I used the pool it was clean and well kept. The excersize room is equipt with the usual equipment. I had the larger 1 bedroom with patio and it was nice. High ceilings, great kitchen, overall pretty apartment. Never had any major problems except the AC went out a couple times and had to be refilled but they fixed it in a timely manner. The office staff was always nice and professional when we went in. We didn't use the pool table because the apartment kids would constantly break the pool cues so, it would have been nice if that was not a problem. The gates are always broke and the trash piles up near the ONE trash compacter. I had ants in my apartment but when I called the office they sent the exterminator over and the problem went away in about a month. I never had problems with parking or residents. My apartment was on the first floor and got stuck with a really noisy neighbor upstairs who wore lead shoes and banged around a lot. Sounded like he/she was working on weights half the night! No problems from the next door neighbor. I liked the apartment overall and would live here again.

I love it here
I have been here for a year and I just signed another lease for another year. I have had no problems other than trash and gates. The gate situation is due to the idiots that want to beat them, and the trash another situation of a bunch of trash not throwing their trash in the compactor. it gets cleaned up and Maintenance is great taken care of timely. New management as of a year ago and they are great. As for the walls being paper thin if you dont like noise dont live in an apartment, you are going to hear your neighbors that is everywhere YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT! I really have no complaints I have seen some kids hanging around but we do have a sheriff that patrols so no problems.

I LIKE IT HERE!!
Not sure what the other comments are about but I have been here for over a year and haven't come across any problems. The management changed last year and I have definitely seen an improvement. Maintenance has always taken care of all my request. I've read the comments about the gates and it's because people do not know how to use it, however, I have seen it being repaired several times.

Don't sign the lease
When we first moved in last year we found the apartment to be very spacious and well kept. Upon living here a few months we noticed that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything that goes on in the other apartments. The quality of neighbors are horrible. I don't know how these types of people can afford to live here. The rent is too high and the trash compactor and gate cause a major eye sore. The gate is always broken or never working properly. Overall, I do not like the quality of people living within the apartment. There should be a harder screening process that is involved. The majority of the neighbors are rude! I can't wait to leave at the end of the year!!!

What's happening to this place?
My husband and I moved in here about 4 months ago and when we first got here, we thought “wow!†Not anymore. We love our apartments itself. The layout is wonderful and the kitchen is beautiful, but there are certain things that we figured ahh, no big deal. The floors are paper thin, as are the walls. This is one reason we miss our old place. We couldn’t hear a thing and neither could our neighbors! That wasn’t a huge deal to us and won’t be unless we get some unruly neighbors. The management was Gables and for those of you who have lived here for over 3 months or so, you know this. Not anymore. It’s GrayStar and since they’ve come into effect, it seems that things are going downhill FAST. Everyone complained about the office staff when it was the Gables, saying the girls were pretentious and snotty. I really liked those girls, I’d say the ones in there now are the rude ones. The office manager had me waiting 20 minutes just to ask her a question. The trash situation is beyond me. It’s disgusting and needs to be fixed. I’m sick of seeing a huge blue dumpster that sits in the street. We pay enough not have our property looking like it does right now. The gate is another story. Does anyone but me feel like this great little community is going to pot?

A great idea
Here's an idea. What if the MANAGEMENT was required to stay on property? That would be a great idea. Then perhaps the management staff here wouldn't be so detached from their residents. This is a beautiful community, but the staff here seem incredibly aloof to anything that happens on the premises. That's an awful shame because this a fabulous property that's being neglected to an extent. What a shame.

If only, if only...
I've been here now for over a year, and I've just gotten word that Alta Creek has new management. It will be interesting to see what 'changes', if any, will be made regarding the upkeep of this brand new property. After all, management shouldn't just focus on the bottom line of rent payments, but also first impressions are everything on a property. Driving onto the property, I can't help but once again notice screens off the hinges of patio apartments, tenants using their balconies as STORAGE (a BIG no-no to me). Alta Creek has very few apartments with balconies/patios, so those persons who do have them should keep them neat and sightly.I pay a pretty hefty price to live here, and I do love my apartment. But the management needs to see to it that everyone who lives here understands the expectations of the property. Surely, when tenants first toured the Alta Creek, the likelihood that they saw broken chairs or screens on the patio was not possible. It might seem petty, but little things like this can make or break an apartment community's image. Come off it Greystar...let's see what you're made of. Get these patio-trashing people out of this -------like mentality.<br>

I just checked out Alta Creek, and it's extremely snobby. I'm a guy who likes a relaxed conversation, and the girls working in the office put up a front just to get you to sign a lease. It actually turned me off about this property so I looked at the Enclaves and they're down to earth, so I went ahead a signed a lease there. Alta Creek so ridiculously expensive for its kind. I wouldn't recomend it to anyone of my friends.

I Love Alta Creek
I just renewed my lease at Alta Creek and I love it! The residents are so nice it's one of those everyone knows everyone places to live. They have this thing called a CARES team and they are GREAT!! They plan all of these fun events it was a great way to meet my neighbors. I am new to Sugar Land and I didn't know anyone but now I have lots of friends on property. <br><br>Parking is great as long as you come home before 2:00 am. But hey thats to be expected. <br>The two maintenance guys are so sweet I haven't had many major issues in my apartment that have required fixing but when I do see them they are so pleasant. <br><br>The girls in the office are very nice I am shocked at some of the reviews it's almost like the person who wrote these reviews has a personal vendetta against the girls which is sad because they don't deserve this kind of treatment. I think it is terrible that this site allows people to personally attack someone like that. <br><br>I have a few comments to those who have written about the property;<br>You have fruit flies b/c your dirty I have never had a roach or a fruit fly...maybe a spider or two but that happens. If people would stop running into the gates and the arms it wouldn't be broken...stop complaining about calling the police that's what they are there for. What do you think the mgmt office can do about security? I am aware of the law having practiced it for 5 years and its actually illegal for them to offer security to you. You are not safe and secure anywhere. That's just life. Get an alarm on your car and your home. Protect yourself!<br>If people would just put there trash in the compactor there wouldn't be trash outside...I have seen those two men out there almost everyday putting trash inside of the compactor so I know that they try to keep it clean. People above you making noise...that's apt living!<br> I THINK IT'S CUTE THAT YOU WANT TO LIVE IN A BUBBLE WITH NO CRIME OR TRASH BUT THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN 2006. Sugar Land is a great place to live and the mgmt is great to work with. Have you tried treating them like human beings? That works in the real world!<br> I AM VERY SORRY THAT YOU ARE SUCH AN UNHAPPY PERSON and that you have a fascination with trying to destroy there name but I promise karma will bring this back to you. <br><br>Over all Alta Creek has been wonderful and I look forward to another year! <br>I think you owe it to yourself to go look at the property and ignore these childish and uneducated reviews. Let's Be Reasonable-I love it Here
I have lived at Alta Creek for almost 12 months and I to have received letters from the Management company that state incidents have occurred at the property. They don't hide this information and in fact I would have never known that anything occurred unless they had notified me. Asking them to provide ANYONE with security is UNREASONABLE! If you lived in a home who would you call? You would call the police-It is no different if you live in an apartment. People create a false sense of security because they choose a property that has access gates when we all know that anyone can just follow someone into the property. 99% of the Residents that live here LOVE the staff and we feel that they do a wonderful job. We are the majority and there are a few people out there that you cannot please. These are the people that want out of their lease for some other reason and use this as an excuse to get out of their lease. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT CRIME CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE! Any reasonable person can tell you this. I highly recommend this property I intend to renew my lease. Crime has increased in the entire area. I don't appreciate people that write these reviews and call the staff names-that is childish. It is unfair and unethical. I LOVE IT HERE AND I APPRECIATE THE STAFF! You to will Love it here!

worst place i've ever lived
The most important thing besides prices, floor plans, and neighborhood is the management and how they "manage" the property...and in my opinion, the only thing they have right is...NOTHING. The management is the most snobbiest and pretentious people I've ever met. They pretend to act sweet but once you move in and have problems they roll their eyes and tell you that they can not do anything about it. I'm talking about the security issue we've been having lately. It seems as though the theives know the management doesn't take action so they keep hitting our community. The prices are too high for what you pay for and not worth the effort of putting up with B****es. Excuse my language, but I have strong negative feelings towards every single person who works in that office. They are worthless, useless, and all they care about is if you drop your rent on time. I'm so fed up, I'm breaking my lease and I can't wait till I throw those keys in their face!!!! If you want my opinion (which is probably why your reading this) DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!!! Trust me, looks can be deceiving.

WORSE PLACE IVE LIVED
The Management needs to improve on their managing skills! They seem nice on the phone, but when you actually move in, they don't care about you at all. They just want that year-lease and your stuck. Sure, the apartments are nice, but I can find just as nice apartments elsewhere where the management cares about the resident's security and wellbeing. We've had alot of robberies in this complex and the management doesn't do anything to improve conditions. I feel like I'm paying a thousand dollars for nothing. I should just move to the ------ and have the potential of being robbed. Atleast I'll be saving money on rent! Because there is no difference between paying an arm and a leg and paying half of that when your security level is the same. The gates are always broken and when I complained about the gates, they started lecturing me to call the cops if I "feel insecure". There is a limit to how many times I can call the police. I've complained about suspicious activities so many times and they continue to keep the gates broken. On top of that, they deny the gates are broken!! Aside from the security issue, I've complained about noisy neighbors on top of me and next to me atleast 3-4 times. Needless to say, I still hear the noises. The trash is always stacked outside of the compactor, and that has caused my apartment to have fruitflies since my aptartment is next to it. I'VE NEVER LIVED IN A PLACE WHERE THE MANAGEMENT WAS NEGLECTFUL TO THEIR JOBS.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
Due to recent break-ins, it has gotten very scary to live at alta creek. The management have not taken any preventive steps, and tell us they are not responsible for our safety. The gates are constantly broken so it invites outsiders all the time. My car was vandalized and they pretty much rolled their eyes and told me they couldn't do anything. The management has a attitude problem and lack proper brains to do anything. Sure, the apartments are beautiful, but there's no point of living there if you don't feel secure. Also, they have lied about what's been going on with the break-ins. They reported 2 through letters, but didn't inform us about the other 19!!! I found out from outside sources that there have been a total of 21 break-in and robberies. This reflects the management's lack of resident's safety. I would definitly NOT recomend anyone living there. I've writtin to the corporate office, and I'm still waiting for a reply. My opinion, look somewhere else.

I toured this property in 2005 on the recommendation of a friend in the business. He told me the property management company was outstanding. My first impression when I walked in the office was one of pretentiousness. The ladies working in the office were very snobbish. The place looks amazing, but the staff definitely needs a sales lesson. I checked out the 1 bedroom/sunroom and it was beautiful, but not at the price they wanted. I have a good job, make good money, but don't want to live in a place where the staff are that "superior" and pretentious. I also didn't like the fact that there are no patios or balconies on the 2nd and 3rd level. And when I viewed the property there were no plans to put railings around the patios on the 1st level. ?!?!? But the main thing that turned me off was how snotty the leasing folks were. I went to Parkside, got a WAY better deal for only a slightly older property, bigger floor plan and MUCH more down to earth management. I haven't regretted my decision.

I like it here. Very classy property. I think the management could control the gate problem by videotaping the idiot who keeps breaking the arm. They need to be held accountable. I moved here because it's nice and quiet..and it still is. The rent is somewhat steep, and because of that, I insist that the property maintains a standard worthy of the price. With that being said, noisy, tacky neighbors will be reported as well as any other irregularity that doesn't suit the property's expectations. I do believe that the management should take more heed to the behaviors and expectations of their residents, not just on the first of each month.

I love my home! It's the best!
I absolutely love my apartment! Yes, it is just like a home with all the lovely features!My family is simply enjoying our time here until we purchase a home. <br>The gates are broken frequently, but it is obviously due to tacky residents who don't care enough to respect our dynamic property. The maintenance staff is awesome! They are always so very helpful and pleasant. The office staff is very helpful and pleasant as well! Thank you for doing a great job, keep up the great job!

Love the Property and the Staff
I have to say that I like living here. From the moment I walked in the door-I felt welcome. Yes there have been issues with the gates but that is because people will follow others inside the property. The management staff has always responded to repairing them in a timely manner. At first the compactor was an eye soar but it has improved as Residents now open the door and throw away their trash. Keep in mind that the trash that was left outside the compactor had to be picked up by the maintenance staff-how would you like to have that job! Not me!! I appreciate what they do for me on a daily basis. They keep my home looking great...

The management....needs to MANAGE
As some of the previous messages have stated, the interior of the apartments are spectacular! I have lived here for a few months and I absolute love my apartment and I do get lots of positive feedback about my apartment. However, seeing how the gates rarely work and also seeing how the trash compactor is always full, it does get a bit embarrassing when I have guests. Also, management might want to take a look at some of the patio/balconies on the property. A few of these are in the FRONT of the property which really shows how neglectful the management seems to be. This is Sugar land for goodness sakes, NOT the ------. Please have residents with patio windows to ATTACH their screens. It really and truly looks awful. Other than that, Alta Creek really is a top notch place to stay, give or take a few minor yet bothersome esthetic issues.

I would look else where!!
This place is the absolute WORSE apartment complex I have ever lived in. The interior of the apartments are wonderful, they make it feel very homey with the extra touches. But the exterior is terrible...we have lived here since August, not one week has gone by were both gates are functioning properly. The apartment complex has a trash compactor and there are very few residents that know how to open the door throw there trash in the compactor and push the button. I personally will not be re-signing my lease, and cant wait till August comes so we can get out of here!!
