Lovely Apartment Homes, but Might as Well Get a House (Steep Prices!!!)

I must say I absolutely LOVE the look of these apartments, inside and out. The small details, such as rounded entry halls and brushed metal handles and dark wood in the kitchen, make for a really nice, modern feel. It feels more like a house than an apartment. Plus, it's just a year old, which is a good feeling.<br><br>I will say, though, that the price is pretty steep. $950 for a one bedroom/sunroom is insane. Luckily, my husband and I got in with a special, but we won't be staying after our 14 month lease is up. We might as well get or lease a house or townhome.

So far...so good, I guess...

Well, I went to tour the property last week. I was pleased. The staff was very friendly. The only thing that concerned me a bit was that there were some kids unattended in the computer area. To me, that's a bit of a 'red flag'. If someone's going to pay to live somewhere nice like Alta Creek, then the tenants with kids should be responsible enough not to have them 'roaming' about. Other than that, the property is very nice, terrific apartment layouts and great amenities. I'm going to put in an application (I think), but here's hoping that the property doesn't get '------' like other places because of lax parenting and child supervision.
