Sadly residents do not honor the no smoking rules and grass is smelled. You also hear loud music that permeates your apartment. Staff are very nice. The building feels like a college dorm and many young residents do not understand about how their choices affect the right of habitability of others.

Very happy with my experience with Meridian so far. Everyone has been very helpful. The moving experience went very smoothly and the staff was very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Meridian to family or friends.

I have had no issues with the staff, neighbors, or apartment at the Meridian at Courthouse Commons. All of the amenities are great, the quality of the furnishings are great, and I enjoy living here. I would recommend the building to a friend.

I have had an overall great experience living in this community. I love my apartment, especially having the sunroom and a balcony, and the rest of the building is well maintained and the amenities are great. Maintenance is always quick whenever I've had any requests. Colleen & John host really fun events for the residents every month! The only thing I was worried about before moving here, based on other reviews I read, was about the front desk & office staff not being super friendly or attentive. But I really haven't had any issues there either ? some folks are a bit more cheerful than others, but everyone has been helpful whenever I've needed anything.

The view from the clubhouses alone are such a great investment, but overall the value for an apartment at the Meridian is well worth it, do the extra space in the sunroom/den. My apartment really feels more like a two bedroom than a one + den.

Avoid at all costs
If I could give zero stars I would. Accounting - they tell you one thing and then go back and say sorry its closed out and cannot make an adjustment despite their word. You do not have a full-size fridge, think camper/TV size fridge. Overall building is in poor condition, with dark lights in halls (think horror movie) The concierge is only at the desk part of the day and most of the time they are gone. 500 to remove someone from a lease on renewal dated kitchens with dishwashers that do not work (I've had over 5 service calls for mine) They will place every. blame on you and accept zero accountability. (water leak above floor to ceiling windows staining the carpet, yet it is my problem) Court yard area was unavailable for 8-9 months the first year I moved here.

My boyfriend and I moved to Meridian in June 2021 from DC. We were really excited to move into a bigger space and to have nice amenities like the courtyard, sunroom, and gym! We signed a 15 month lease and have no regrets. We're really happy with our space and are comfortably working from home. Our cat is also super happy with the floor to ceiling windows in our sunroom. We've only had to call maintenance once when we first moved in because our dishwasher wasn't working. We sent in the request on a Sunday and weren't expecting to hear until Monday but maintenance came with a new dishwasher so we were pleasantly surprised. The units are new and really easy to keep clean. We are planning on re-signing a lease with hopes that rent doesn't increase a lot.

Really great community with nice apartments! No problems have been experienced by me or my roommate. We have had the occasional noise issue but that has only ever been contained to once in a blue moon on a Friday.

Perfect apartment complex for young professionals to live in. I've been here for around a year and I'm very satisfied with: distance to metro and to central spots, amenities (gym, pool, club room, sun roof). Management team and all staff are very friendly and responsive.

Very hit or miss. The apartment units are very nice. The courtyard looks nice. The common areas (club room and roof deck) seem nice. Unfortunately, the courtyard TVs cannot be controlled by residents, and most front desk staff do not know how to control them either. The TVs in the club room do not work. The property management wants to charge people for group usage of these spaces that are more often than not empty. The parking garage is a nightmare. There are poles that take up half the spots so everyone is parked over the lines, which makes significantly fewer spaces. I have watched the courtyard maintenance/landscaping team leafblow a single leaf around the courtyard for 10 minutes. It was unnecessarily loud and for too long. Also, the courtyard is no dogs allowed, which is stupid considering how many amazing dogs live in the community. I would rather watch dogs play in the courtyard than landscaping leaf blowing for hours each week. The hallways are vacuumed frequently which is nice except they are loud while I am on work calls. Generally, I think rent is too high for what residents get. Parking should be free, pets should not cost an additional $500 deposit and $50 per month. The gym needs more free weights, mats, and lights.

This apartment building is fine. I love the maintenance staff- they are by far the best part of this building. The building tries to implement improvements often, but the end result is ongoing construction. Dogs are also not allowed in the courtyard, despite the building being pet friendly.

I love it here! The staff are helpful, amenities such are great (and I haven't even used all of them yet), and the maintenance staff are top notch. The location is great as well. I couldn't have asked for a better place to live in the Courthouse area.

We have enjoyed our time at Meridian at Courthouse. The location is hard to beat. It is in a safe neighborhood with the Police Dept near by and the streets are pretty quiet. The staff is friendly and responsive. The renovated courtyard has plenty of sitting and grills. Lots of community events to participate in.

The community here is very fun and involved. There's always something to do. The location is great. Arlington is close enough to DC to reap it's benefits, without the DC traffic and prices. It's a beautiful building in a beautiful area. The courtyard is a great place to get outside.

Fantastic community in a superb location. Beautiful, well-kept building/grounds, friendly and helpful staff, awesome amenities (including indoor basketball court) and fun community events. Have never had an issue living here. Rent is pretty comparable for the area, but the value you get at the Meridian far exceeds any other nearby community.

It's a great place to live when being new to the area, as the building is big and filled with a lot of young adults and young families. Any maintenance issues are handled very promptly with an easy reporting process. Amenities like the new courtyard or rooftop are some of the nicest in Courthouse and make the building stand out from others. The apartments are clean, renovated and easy to make personalized.

This is a nice property with one HUGE caveat. It is NOT a place for a family. The property looks nice from the outside and has nice amenities, however, soundproofing is minimal. You can hear conversations through the wall as if you were sitting with your neighbors in their living room. We have young children and are getting bombarded weekly with noise complaints. While our kids can at times play loudly, I would not say that they are playing louder than what would be expected. At the same time we can hear our neighbors having conversations next door to us with almost no reduction in the volume. I would not say that it is anyones fault it is just the poor construction of the building. People should be allowed to live at a normal volume. If you are sensitive to noise, or if you are planning to hold conversations with your family or friends in your apartment, I would recommend finding a different place.

The entire staff at the Meridian has been eager to help and support me through the process of moving in and residing in the building. Maintenance always arrives promptly when requested, and resolves issues as soon as they come. The front desk is likewise always available to assist and resolve any needs or problems.
